unbelievable posts on here. we played a second rate man city and got beat. if we keep playing like that we will get somewhere (ye championship)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

2nd rate? The team they put out was still one of the most expensive starting 11s in the world.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ye but not there first choice I dread to think what that result would have been maybe 4-0 again

Agree0 Disagree0

Kolarov. dzeko. silva. jesus. milner. richards. garcia. negredo are hardly 2nd rate. they would all get into atleast 14 of the premier league teams starting 11

why play Yanga-Mbiwa I've never seen so much cr*p in my life he wouldn't get in a Sunday league team. he is totally out of his depth and cisse again learn the offside rule for f*ck sake. he couldn't hit a cows ar*e with a banjo. dummet needs a rocket up his ar*e. and why does pardew always look quite satisfied with a loss. I must say I was quite pleased with tiote he played well

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Wat match were u watching. we played well

Agree0 Disagree0

And got beat again we can't score and we can't defend. great team

0-0 against city. (f*k extra time. i'm taking 0-0)
we stopped a very good team scoring and for 90mins we were comfortable. only the introduction of silva and zabaletta changed it. They have 2 world class squads we at a push have 1 or 2 top premier league players. I think if we had started with Remy or had him on instead of HBA we wouldve scored n possibly won.

Im against the regime but i'm also for, supporting our team. old cliché but its true. effort week in week out is all we can expect. n they all put a shift in last night.

we just need an international experienced manager to manage internatiinal capable players.

I have no complaints about that whatsoever. We were the better side over 90 minutes.

Cisse could have had 2 goals.

If we keep on playing like that, the team will be going places. (With a bit of better finishing that is)

Last 30mins we started to falter. Why was ameobi subbed cisse should of been subbed. We lacked the fitness, lethal touch and determination tonight.

Agree0 Disagree0

The team does appear to have a good shape when Ameobi is on, there is a visible presence of a front line when he plays.

Same old same old. Yes, we had a good 45mins, but why take off ameobi who boyata and lescott were struggling to handle? As for cisse, well i'd be happy not to see him wearing a black and white shirt again.

The players just looked so tired after 60mins. Chelsea made 10 changes or something in their capital one cup game, so their players will be fit and hungry. Most of our players will be fatigued.

For some reason, Pardew is really struggling to motivate the players. We should of been doubling up on city's players, pressurising them, not giving them any time on the ball, getting the crowd going. At least Yanga-M'Biwa had a good game.

I didn't expect anything tonight, I don't expect anything saturday. But then again, what should I expect with a bunch of clowns running our club?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yanga-M'Biwa sorry mate but I must have watched a different game to you he is rubbish

Agree0 Disagree0

Yanga-M'Biwa sorry but just look at his positioning in both goals not a clue

Good first half, unlucky not to be leading!
Cisse & shola both look hungry, Anita & tiote look comfortable in midfield but like jtoon said why is sissoko out wide?
Does anyone know what's going on with marveux?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Cisse & shola both look hungry ye for what a kebab

Looking forward to seeing haidara, he has a great attitude and great potential. But why is Sissoko playing on the wing?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Because Pardew is tactically inept.

Pardew said we could win the next 2 games. Alan we know we could but that doesn't mean we will

Heard Pardew has to get something out of at least 1 of the next 3 or he's getting fired.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Pardew can loose the next 6 games he is going nowhere
Look around don't listen to rumours because that is all they are the Mafia are here until the lights go out

Pardew has to get something out of the at least 1 of the next 3 matches. man c, chelsea, spurs or he's gone : )

Here are a list of managers who are available:

Marcelo Bielsa (my top choice)
Martin O'Neill
Roberto Di Matteo
Frank Rijkaard
Rene Girard
Roberto Mancini
Kenny Dalglish

Agree0 Disagree0

Any one of those aforementioned managers would improve our style of football, in fact only pulis, jfk and pdc would not be welcomed by me as new toon manager.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dalglish? Really

LOL @ Dalglish - I still have nightmares about that era.

Selling Ginola and Les Ferdinand has to rank as two of the biggest mistakes ever made in the history of football management. And getting rid of Asprilla, blasphemy!

I still remember that sinking feeling in my chest when Barnes & Rush were signed.
