The chronicle have absolutely stuck it to Ashley, front page spread with that famous Bobby Robson quote about what a football club is.

Harvey

1.) What the pundits of BT sport said about it made me so angry, they have no clue what it's like for us under ashley

I have no complaints about that whatsoever. We were the better side over 90 minutes.

Cisse could have had 2 goals.

If we keep on playing like that, the team will be going places. (With a bit of better finishing that is)

Harvey

1.) Last 30mins we started to falter. Why was ameobi subbed cisse should of been subbed. We lacked the fitness, lethal touch and determination tonight.

2.) The team does appear to have a good shape when Ameobi is on, there is a visible presence of a front line when he plays.

Quick question to all Newcastle fans.

Would you rather get beat by Sunderland and have our position in the table, or, win that match and swap positions with Sunderland in the table?

Can you imagine sitting on 4 points after 10 games, and the only thing to bleat about being a lucky home win against Sunderland? I am not even sure I would be celebrating in their position, I would be happy about the result, but I would still be very worried about my club.

Harvey

1.) I agree with that result, sunderland fans are acting like they've won the league. We lost that game because of pardew's failure to get the best out of every player, failure to counter their stoke tactics and he was just clueless hence why he changed the formation so many times. I don't even know where sissoko was playing. and for cisse-my word what has pardew done to him

2.) Go on Harvey and Jtoon, the best double act I've seen. don't let anyone tell you guys that your not as good as good as Ant and Dec. I think all Sunderland fans are well aware of the difficult path we've got ahead but are always going to enjoy winning the derby just like you guys do. You keep up the great posts though. When youve made up your minds as to what you think let us all know. Jtoon and Harvey, heroes! Especially Jtoon, the lads special.

3.) We gave it away yes we were in terms of football superior get used to it it is the next 4 games that we will all be fighting With each other
Ashley has created a nonsical team
& we are going to struggle

4.) Yeah you say that you might want to take a look at your own fans

Anybody seen the name Dmac on this page before?

Claims to be a Newcastle fan on the Sunderland page, doing a load of brown nosing, telling them how great they are and how woeful Newcastle is, even went as far as to say that Sunderland were the better side and deserved the win. (I wouldn't mind if it was not a load of nonsense)

I am just curious if the Sunderland page will be deleted next season, with them heading to the championship I would like to think so.

Only 'big clubs' get rumor pages! ;)

4 points from 10 games woohoo, watch out, they may improve form and do 8 points in the next 10 games. It does not look like they will get 30 points this season, never mind the 40, projected to be the safety spot.

There is an article out today about Joe Hart having the 4th worst shots-to-saves ratio in the Premier League.

There was a list of the 20 keepers, and Krul is actually the 3rd worst coming in at 17th, saving only 60%. That means that out of every 10 shots on our goal, Krul let's 4 in, worrying to say the least.

Harvey

1.) What can you expect our defence is tosh

2.) Giv3n became the best in the league whilst at toon. he was getting plenty of practise. no wonder he got a recurring back injury. its a poor stat to use. usually best keepers have worse ratio as less shots to TRY n save. bet palace keeper is top. not going to lose 10-0 etc etc

Defoe would be good for a 2 year contract, far better than Bent & Kone, who we were looking at. I think he will end up going to West Ham though.

JToon, that would be the perfect position for HBA. Give him the freedom to do what he does best. If he can roam it will play havoc with teams plans to double up on him.

Tiote has been MOTM in two of the last 3 games he played in, and he didn't even play the full 90 minutes in the game he didn't win MOTM; that being said, the team looked like it performed better when Anita came on against Chelsea, so there is a difficult call to make, as I do not think Tiote & Anita can play together.

In the two games that Sissoko has played wide, I thought he looked immense. He runs his channel like an athlete and he is part of the reason for Debuchy's rise in form, his covering work for Debuchy coupled with his pace on the counter attacks has been sterling work.

HBA is without doubt our best attacking player, but I am not sure I would put him in any position that requires any kind of tracking back work, Ben Arfa just isn't built that way - he is like a missile and only goes one direction.

Okay, Ed.

Here is the link, it is bad quality, but you will see Obertan clearly involved in the build up to the goal.

For me, contributing to a goal outweighs any criticism of his passing, or criticism of the manager for bringing him on late in a game.

As I said, I suggest you go and watch the build up to the 2nd goal, which killed the game off for us. (I would be happy to link you, but this site will not allow links)

Suggesting it was a mistake for Obertan to come on is absolute nonsense as he helped set up the game killing goal. Oh and btw, he did give the ball away a few times, but that is because he was instructed to play out wide and keep the ball in the corners.

Why would I care if Obertan made a few stray passes if he helped win the game, the original statement said that it was a ''shocking decision'' by Pardew to bring on Obertan, when the 2nd goal proves that it wasn't.

And I didn't at any point state that Cisse was perfect when he came on, but he was involved in some good moves, and I believe in giving credit for good work, instead of ignoring anything good and concentrating on nothing but the bad points. Cisse had a few bad touches, but he was working hard, and he showed some flashes of his skill - that being the truth of his performance.

Cisse was involved in a build up that nearly led to a goal, he also dragged defenders away from Remy, which led to Remy getting into the game.
