is it me or are people not using this site as much because they don't want to register a name? Haven't seen zues or spire toon for a while. but there were a lot of unnamed posts, they should get a name registered

Yeah I check this site daily & it does seem a little quieter than usual, probably cz we got a decent result against Liverpool but next time we have a blip the usual negative posters will be out in force again!

Look on the Rumours site. The nugget's spending every waking hour clicking on 'unbelievable'. And he never has anything at all to say about football, just to spout doom and gloom. If he doesn't register we're well rid.

Anyone on here is welcome even if it's negative or hopefully positive seems to me that anyone says anything critical they get the name Doom Mongers

My expectation was mid table anything better we would need a lot if luck
And with Collo injured and Cisse now sitting on the bench the foolishness and a massive calculated mistake and not buying cb and striker & I think Sunday's match against the markings would be hard as will the next 4or 5 games but we'll see with fingers crossed

Art: most posters on here are critical to a degree, there's nobody forecasting a top four finish any more, and I personally agree with your assessment of our chances. Trouble is, there are one or two Mackem trolls who just want to stir up misery and they tend to get themselves noticed. I keep putting football questions to one of them but he never responds, no class, like his 'team'. My forecast for Sunday: the unwashed will hack their way to a 1-1.

Yes 1-1 would do me as I think this will be one of the biggest challenges this season and to come away with something would be a bonus because I think Sunderland will kick anything above grass hi as they are desperate for a result.

that you advocate registering on this site, which is not a bad thing however, conformity sometimes brings resentment & perhaps you get a negative response from those who can just agree or disagree.

Possibly better you just get on with your post about Newcastle United & positive and constructive criticism.

There is nothing wrong with being cynical/critical etc, if there is some logic to the argument, but when you have people coming on saying Newcastle are relegation fodder and the squad is useless and pathetic, it really is a break from reality.

The truth is, our squad right now, is the 8th best in England. Is it not difficult to judge where teams in the Premier league should be finishing - based on a bit of squad revision.

Art: just to make something clear. I've never advocated registration, it won't work if trolls sign in with multiple identities, but I've noticed that the misery guts seem much fewer now, so maybe I'm wrong. I've been having a 'lively debate' with a Mackem troll who sometimes calls himself Zeus but uses umpteen other IDs to make himself look like one of a crowd instead of just a psychotic loner, and who has nothing constructive to say, ever.

Vic constructive is what someone thinks not just you or me or anyone else. I don't mind as Harvey says relegation fodder or anything else being said as an opinion is an opinion it does not make anyone on this site a Mackem for daring to say negative things.
Now you don't think that and neither do I but I can see why these people do. We have 11 points which is not bad and if we pick another 11 up in the same number of games we are course for being around mid table and that is job done as far as MA is concerned and you and I and every other fan needs to accept that.
