A fee of 6m for Jonny Evans agreed by west brom. can't believe we aren't interested in this as we desp need a proven PL defender in there. And SMc should know him well.

Too Old as Ashley can see no resale value.The fact he could be an asset is immaterial
NUFC is run to appease Ashley not the fans,the ignorance in ignoring the defence will come back to haunt Wally with the Brolly.

I don't see Johnny Evans vastly improving on what we've got. We need someone who will eventually replace Colo - a commanding center half who will lead the defence, constantly talking to those around him and organising the players into an actual defensive unit.
I simply don't see Evans as that type of player.

I don't think we were 2nd best, Manchester United certainly weren't the best team. Draw was a fair result. We defended pretty well and Anita is a big part of that, think he's really underrated. Collo is def only a big game player these days, can't handle the week in week out games.
