Beginning to think that all this was done by mike in his grand plan. Pardew payed his debts to mike off and left as he knew that mike was going to sell sissoko and cisse. Then mike saying he wants to get the right person in to take the club forward which we are all happy about and keeps the fan happy. But what he really means is he will wait till Feb to appoint a second rate manager who will do what he wants so he doesn't have to spend any money in January and make a nice profit on our two best players for his back pocket. This is a business not a football club
1.) Stetoon you may well be right because everything and I mean everything is geared to Ashley's pocket.
To be fair all money from transfers has been or thereabouts spent on players, but nothing from TV money and any other income and that is what Ashley is after The Cream.

Love how we bid 9mil for Cabella which was accepted player to have a medical then loads of people point out they wouldn't sell for less than 11mil that's why he didn't come in January and now we have had a 12mil bid accepted 12 hours later lol do people really believe this stuff?

To put a few things straight as the stuff people are saying on here is laughable. Cabella won't be sold for any less than 11mil they have already said this and that's why we didn't get him in January Cashly didn't want to pay that much. So it doesn't matter what we offer unless it's 11mil so that's means he is not going to have a medical. Campbell is wanted by top teams around the world that does not mean we are getting him on loan. Richards will pick a team in Europe according to his agent which puts us out the running. Please people stop making stuff up. We still don't have a forward you really think pardew has a RB and a midfielder at the top of his list after replacing Cabaye with de Jong? No he's looking for forwards.
1.) I don;t think Cabella is worth £11m but would think if he goes anywhere this summer it will be for less than £11m. Remember they wanted Arsenal to pay £50m for Giroud. There's nothing wrong with asking for a high price especially when they know they'll accept a little less than that.
On Joel Campbell - we do have a chance. It makes sense for Arsenal to want him to get prem experience. they won't loan him to a rival so we're in the chasing pack who could get him. Whether we want him is another story. I don't. I think we can have our own youngsters as backup and sign an actual experienced striker or 2 for the 1st team.
On Richards - probably a long shot and we know wage demands will be sticking point. but if he comes down on that we have a small chance, but bigger clubs will also want him.
