Newcastle to sign yulu. 29 years old angolian free agent.

watch this space

Believable4 Unbelievable17

Christian Yulu Ngwandjo played in the USA for unknown Boston Aztecs and for Recreativo da Ca la in his native angola, and at 29, unknown and an unproven this forward won't be joining newcastle

Lewis McGugan has said on Twitter ---" I am flattered that Newcastle utd have an intrest in me, but for the time being i am staying at Nottingham Forest and look forward to pairing up with Wayne." Shame really i think he is an outstanding young player and would have suited the way Newcastle play. Well at least we tried with a sneeky bid. {Ed014's Note - I think the rumoured £1,500,000 is derisory.}

Believable6 Unbelievable9

If McGugan was sold for that price then something is not right at Forest? I myself am a Newcastle man but i take an intrest in all teams. We should not be offering silly prices for a player like Lewis, let him be so he can mature in a good team, and i believe Forest are a good team.

Agree0 Disagree0

McGugan is worth £5 million at least.

Agree0 Disagree0

He never said this but agree with ED the bid was an insult to the lad.

Ashley quoted as saying this year is about staying in premiership - what happened to ambition - we have always been a club players wanted to come too so why all the unknown frenchies - surely we can still attract players from premiership - we should be competing for the players that are being signed up at the moment - think we are heading for a struggle
---------------------------------------------------
you know nothing mate, these players (marveux mainly) were ovbiously know to liverpool. also why pay more for a player who isnt as good just because hes english. like s downing is not worth more than 8 mill and stupid figures are being quoted just cuz hes english. who would you rather have
downing 14-18 mill
nzogbia 10-12 mill
dumb@ss

Believable5 Unbelievable2

"were ovbiously know to liverpool" Wtf does that even mean? dumb@ss

Agree0 Disagree0

It means liverpool wanted him you fool so they knew about him....muppet

Agree0 Disagree0

If LIVERPOOL wanted any of the players they wouldnt have come to Newcastle - even the home grown "Newcastle is in my blood" chose them rather than stay here -will never progress with Ashley at helm

Heard that we could be looking at Wilfried Zaha from Palace decent youngster for 3Mill with add ons. Also Roque Santa Cruz being looked at only stumbling block is wages. Papis demba Cisse of freiburg would be a quality signing in my opinion

ED; are we about to sign Lewis McGugan? and if so don't you think £1.5 Million is rather cheap for a player who scores only wonder goals? {Ed008's Note - Possible deal with Routledge going the other way though.

Believable3 Unbelievable7

I thought Forest had paid us around 2 million? if McGugan is chucked in also that would mean they value Routledge at around £6 Million? I can't see us signing him tho he is forests best player and will surley want to keep him to partner Routledge?

Agree0 Disagree0

As a forest supporter, a bid of £1.5 million shows no respect from your club and if its accepted then we(forest)are in big trouble

Agree0 Disagree0

Who knows what will happen, i just wish we signed somebody with goals in them. glad Routledge is gone tho, he just would have warmed the bench otherwise.

Agree0 Disagree0

If we live in a world where Matt Mills is sold for £5,000,000; Connor Wickham sold for £13,000,000; Charlie Adam sold for £9,000,000; Alex-Oxlaide Chamberlin valued at £12,000,000 then surely you guys are going to have to pay a lot more than 1.5..

Agree0 Disagree0

Forest fan (On here to see anything on Routledge), Blackburn have bid £4 million apparently, according to a Twitter thing. You won't get McGoo for that amount of money...

Believable6 Unbelievable8

Could be worse, we could be Sunderland, signing man utds has beens; it's a well know fact thar Fergie only lets players go once theyre past it and of no use....... so look on the bright side.
Anyway we won't struggle (touch wood), there are too many poor teams in the league, though i did say that two years ago....

Agree0 Disagree0

We won't attract big names any more. Not for a while... Maybe has been big names.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think your wrong, or a mackem

News today in the Newcastle Journal that the club have agreed a fee with Nottingham Forest for winger Wayne Routledge.

Wayne Routledge on his way to Nottingham Forest

The fee is £2M and that should be at least what Newcastle paid QPR for 18 months when Wayne arrived on Tyneside, and did a good job for the team in the second half of the promotion season.

It is being reported that Wayne could even join Forest within a day or two.

It seems that new Forest boss Steve McClaren has moved quickly for Routledge, who we think will be a good buy for any club looking for promotion next seaosn.

Wayne Routledge reported for pre-season training on Tyneside last Monday, and it seems he was looking to get first team football elsewhere for next season.

So we assume he will jump at this opportunity to join the twice winners of the European Cup in 1979 and 1980, when the great Brian Clough was manager and his talented assistant, Peter Taylor, ran the club and had fantastic success.

Personal terms are still to be agreed, but it does look like Wayne could be on his way, and it looks like a good move for the London-born winger. on the newcastle blog {Ed014's Note - Medical over the weekend, anticipated signing on Monday or maybe even earlier if all goes well.}

Wayne Routledge will be named as a Nottingham Forest player in the morning. Newcastle have accepted a bid in the region of £1.75 million. Also reports suggesting that Newcastle have bidded for Lewis McGugan for £1.5 Million are wrong, if the player was to leave forest he would cost in the region of £4-5 Million.

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Then we will swap you for Routledge lol only kidding hope the kid does well with you.

Agree0 Disagree0

Im a forest fan and mcgugan has been told that he'll only be leaving if an offer comes in £6.5m+

Agree0 Disagree0

Guy that's wrote this is absolutely right (Hopefully), McGugan won't be sold unless we get a much better player as a swap, or at least four million quid, or both.

Both the Banguras have just arrived at Newcastle Airport on a flight from Gothenburg. Not sure of prices etc but maybe worth a punt especially if theyre mates.

There are no flights from anywhere in Sweden to Newcastle. Did Santa bring them?

Rumours going around that the Gervinho deal to Arsenal has collapsed. Could we be back in again for him?

Believable6 Unbelievable13

Newcastle might as they were planning to sign him before Arsenal and this is what they were hoping for

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah and david beckham is joining wallsaw stop posting rubbish, or make the rummour sound as if its true

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think so. I've heard that he's waiting for a work permit. The same thing happened with Tiote when he came. He'll join Arsenal before the end of the window

Agree0 Disagree0

They wont pay the money its the same every transfer window, you would think people would just sit back and see what pittance they will spend. We will only sign players when we sell, it is a big risk the fat man is playing he has been very lucky up till now, but he will be caught out he wont suffer he will just sell the club, and leave with all the stripped assets

Iv also heard that khouma babacar is close to signing for the toon ..geordie sturrock

Believable18 Unbelievable5

22 appearances and 1 goal for Fiorentina. Hardly going to set our pulses racing is he ?.

Agree0 Disagree0

Source?

Agree0 Disagree0

He's 18, I don't think the Pardew would buy him simply to "set our pulses racing". He's a player for the future and promising one at that.

Agree0 Disagree0

Seen a few of his performances and hes decent most of them were from the bench and hes 18..if man utd and madrid have shown interest then must see something in the lad..geordie sturrock

Agree0 Disagree0

22 appearances for one goal. I think even I would be able to score a ratio of 1:22. Anyway, if he's any good Fiorentina won't be getting rid for the coppers FMA would be laying out. More nonsense.

Agree0 Disagree0

Do people just pick players who are good on Football Manager and say we're signing them? He's a kid and he has scored 1 league goal for Fiorentina. I'd rather focus on somebody who is good now.

Agree0 Disagree0

We don't want "players for the future".. We have plenty, right now what we need is a player who is going to score goals this season coming. Players for the future can wait, because without some fire power our future will be in the Championship.

Agree0 Disagree0

I want us to buy players who will take us further up the league and bang the goals in but cmon that aint gonna be the case while the fat man is in charge ..fair enough demba ba seems pretty decent but with the money we have we should be getting players like sturridge, adam johnson ..nzogbia, would love a striker another right back and left back but cant see it happening unless we sell more players. geordie sturrock

Agree0 Disagree0

We will have an even smaller squad if players leave which could be guthrie, routledge, smith, ranger, best, perch which we probaly won't replace just barton if he leaves or enrique but it seems if pardew only getting 2 more than we will have a smaller squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jul 2011 11:20:49
why can't newcastle bulk up their squad with some more quality bosman player like. Nigel Reo-Coker, matthew upson, buycarlton cole, James McFadden, Milan Jovanovic, Gary Taylor-Fletcher, Jose Bosingwa, Juanma Ortiz, Ivica Dragutinovic, def Stephen Appiah, def David Suazo, Nicolae Dica,
def Philippe Mexes, Cesar Delgado,
def Taye Taiwo, Hamit Altintop,
def Miroslav Klose and Christian Pander so i think newcastle need to be looking at the player above they are proven player in there on right what do you think. byker lad
{Ed008's Note - Jovanovic is on 120k a week at Liverpool (i know) not even worth that and Ashley wouldn't allow cos of his age aswell. Remember he wants a younger squad so Upson.Taylor-Fletcher,McFadden(injury prone),Appiah too old. Mexes and Taiwo have joined Milan on free transfers. Klose has signed for Lazio on a free aswell.
Altintop has signed for Real Madrid and the players left you might have a chance.

Believable7 Unbelievable2

What a load of codswallop. If you want to post "RUMOURS" do try to carry out a bit of research and put a grain or two of truth in you posts. most of those players aren't on the Toon radar because they are either:- a) a load of crap, or b) they are on ridiculous wages, or c) because they've already been signed by someone else. What a timewaster you are.

Agree0 Disagree0

Because these players cost a fortune in wages. Also, we've adopted this tactic in the past (Alan Smith, Nicky Butt etc), and it doesnt work - there's a reason these players are available on a free - they are not good enough any more.

ed any news of whether nzogbia and defoe are staying in a hotel in the north east and of so where do you think they will go? {Ed008's Note - Not even true,Defoe is training with Spurs and N'Zogbia maybe

Believable1 Unbelievable8

N'zogbia said on his twitter he was near wigan i.e. at home i guess so no major movement on that 1 atm but hell sign before sept 1st its where he wants to be hell make it happen he forced his way out hell force his way back in

Agree0 Disagree0

Hell hell hell, the hell he will.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes sunderland get it in yr think sgb heads he will never go back to screwcastle the way u tret him, but he has unfinished business to punish u he wants to link up with bruce and the lads.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jul 2011 10:55:25
Collo as new captain should be good he seems close with Jose so might be able to persuade him to stay ..
Next order of business for Pardew is to bring in two strikers
Which i think should be Sturridge for around (12m)
And Mohamed Bangura who has a lot of potential for (2m)
.......All the crap needs to go aswell like ....Guthrie, Smith, Routledge, Lovencraps, Williamson etc

Believable13 Unbelievable3

To the deluded newcastle fan u posted the above about danny sturridge, im a chelsea fan, and i was just having a look at your page as i am an admirer of your club BUT to think ur gonna buy Danny from us for 12 million is beyond a joke he is worth at least 18 million especially if that clown Andy Carroll is going for 35m

thanks and tbh i hope u sign either Erdinc, Defoe or if you could pull it off Lisandro Lopez of lyon

Agree0 Disagree0

Newcastle will not sign sturridge hell cost too much and 12 mil is crazy chelski spent 15 mil in compensation to Citeh nd hes a better player now wouldnt think defoe will happen coz of the blueprint but the either/both banguras is possible

Agree0 Disagree0

Can you not flog smithy to Leeds or is tightwad Ken Bates not interested?

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't know, why would we rid off Mike Williamson. He is decent defender, honestly i would be disapointed if he leaves us. The rest can go, i don't care about them.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its smith man he is on like 70k a week and refuses to take a cut to go to his local team which he "loves" (mick the tab)

Khouma Babacar has all but signed according to his agent

Believable14 Unbelievable6

What's your source?

Agree0 Disagree0

I read this guys Wiki page and it has information about him being strongly linked with Newcastle (Im not the one started the rumour)

Agree0 Disagree0

Where is the link with the agent saying this? This lad has a rep throughout Europe as a big thing for the future and I would be happy if it was true. But all I have seen is the wiki thing that is editable by anyone and a rumour of a big dark lad hanging around a hotel somewhere.

Lewis McGuagan(Forest) 2m 2010-11 stats: Apps:45 Goals:13 Assists:16.We made a 1.5m bid today and he would be a great singing for that price.

Believable4 Unbelievable8

We wont get lewis from forest for less than 5mil and my personal opinion he is worth double that one of the best players in champ last year

was at the Harry Potter premiere at Empire in The Gate last night so too were Jonas and Enrique, asked Enrique not to leave for Aresenal and he just shrugged and both he and Jonas had a laugh

Believable5 Unbelievable19

They were probably laughing at the fact you were at the harry potter premiere

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh they were laughing at the thought of playing for newcastle another year. what a funny joke

Newcastle to sign two more strikers. pardew is looking to sell ranger and best whilst hope to get either long or erdinc. however the other striker is Mohamed Bangura teteh who has told reporters that newcastle scouts have been watching him since early febuary(under the pardew era) ive been told he is the new drogba? does anyone know if he is any good? ive never heard or seen him

Believable9 Unbelievable3

His goal ratio is fantastic

Agree0 Disagree0

He is called the new Drogba cause of his physical frame but don't expect much for a couple of seasons from him

Agree0 Disagree0

The new Drogba....ha ha ha ha....you nerds can only follow the SAFC scouts to try and get some tips...then fail...LOSERS

Agree0 Disagree0

Brilliant theory however mohammed and teteh are 2 different people both banguras and both 21 both play for AIK as fw / wingr too

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't know why these mackems are suddenly boasting about there new signings, fair play whickam was a surprise but John o'gay and the baked bean aren't anything to shout about O'gay was cover for the 13 years he was there and I'm surprised he was kept that long and beans getting on Seb larsson seems like a bit of a mercenary with regards to wages if u beleive what you read and I wouldn't be surprised if he moves on within 2 seasons, zero loyalty from him I think But last of all I really couldn't be arses to go on the mackem page and comment, these mackems have far to much time on there hands, probably because greggs was closed
