This is an estimated value and had been quoted in various Coventry City forums etc. Ex Toon play Andy Thorn does not think it is the right time for the player to move to Newcastle, however the player seems keen.
Could be a buy and then loan back scenario? Not a bad shout having Coventry as a seeder club, we could send out our younger players to gain valuble first team expierence

Looks a decent prospect but I have to agree with Andy Thorn, no point in him coming here to sit in the reserves and we for some strange reason dont seem to loan out our good yougsters very much, how long did Vuckic (only went to Cardiff for a month or so), Sammy, Fergy etc spend sitting in our reserves over the last couple of years?

Yanga-Mbiwas agent has stated that he won't be moving to Newcastle and thinks he will go to Germany instead. Apparently we have shown interest but not followed it up, who else would we go for at CB then?!

Very strong source that Newcastle are about to sign Blaise Matuidi from PSG for around £10m. The central midfielder has only been at the Ligue 1 club for a season but with moneybags PSG always strengthening Alan Pardew has seized an opportunity. Deal to be confirmed in the next 48 hours.

For me that's when cabaye was at is best. Take the stoke game at home. Tiote and jonas playing as the two dm and cabaye was giving a kind of free role in front of them. He destroyed their defence

woke up this morning and found we have been offered Kevin Gameiro, ed what are the chances of us going in for him again? {Ed001's Note - as far as I am aware, Newcastle have other targets now, though he could end up being the fallback option if other targets can't be secured.}
