di matteo, better than mcclaren, however there are plenty others i'd prefer, known for playing a 4-5-1 at schalke with 3 defensive midfielders, people would soon turn on him here, his style of football is horrible and negative.

Hasselbank has done a great job at burton, but I think he'd be way out of his depth here.

my person opinion is that di matteo is no better than mclaren. but anyone is better than Carver and i'm actually starting to get really worried about the pro-Carver propaganda coming from the players since the season ended. My top 3 (being realistic) 1. David Moyes 2. Remi Garde (only edged by DM becaus DM has PL exp.) 3. Laudrup (again citing PL experience).
fourth choice is littered with young up and coming managers for me - Gourvennec, Paco Jemez etc.
