Wont be true! porto are listed as wanting 8.6 million euros for a player who has only played twice for them and 5 times for liege before that! MA wont pay that for someone who doesnt play!

Doubt it mate. Only joined Porto in August

He just signed for Porto 6 month ago for 6m and has a release clause of 44m so I think your story is not true. A1 chef

TBH Mangala joined F.C. Porto on 16 August 2011 for €6.5 million ... so lets hope your right and he's on his way to NUFC ...

reported bid been made for watfords 25 year old defender mariappa! its on SSN. and 20 year old guingamp striker saying nufc are talking to his agent about a deal to bring him to newcastle! apparentley highly rated and wants to move too! can also play out wide and this could be the deciding factor due to obertans recent struggles.....spenny mag

Anthony Knockaert is the guingamp winger

Anthony Knockaert is the name from that French team. He's 20 year old and talks like a team player. Good record for France under 21's. Club has a good rep for bringing up quality players drogba to name one
Agree2

Anthony Knockaert has 3 goals in 3 games but also has 4 yellow cards in those 3 games. Mariappa looks doesn't seem to miss many games through injury and does look like a tidy player for cover.

How can u get 4 yellow cards in 3 games !
Agree2
Disagree3
Why would mariappa want to sign for a team when he will be fourth choice centre back (when taylors fit) and have minimal playing time, I don't know about his versatility but if he is decent why havent any of the lower clubs in the prem been showing an interest because they have greater defencive struggles than we do (excuse fulham). But we do have defenders hanging around eg perch and kadar (jesus knows what the crack is with him). I'd be bying 2 new strikers 4 new midfielders

2 yellows in 1 game and 1 in the other 2 = 4 in 3

"How can u get 4 yellow cards in 3 games"?....2 yellows = 1 red..
Agree2

Whoever we bring in they gotta be quick cause what we have at present are all too slow.

4 yellows in 3 games?
1 in 1st game.
1 in 2nd game
2 in 3rd game (=red card)
Simples.

Bet he feels silly for asking that now! haha see 4 does go into 3 haha

The bid for Mariapa has been turned down by Watford...

No it hasnt! its 7.30pm and at this moment in time it hasnt even been confirmed there was a bid never mind turned it down!
Agree0

4 yellows in 3 games is easy....when Graham Poll is the ref!
Agree2
Disagree0
That would be classed as 2 yellow cards and a red not 4 yellows
Agree0
Disagree1
No it wouldnt be 2 yellows and a red! a straight red can be appealed but a red being the result of 2 yellows cant be so therefore 2 yellows leading to a red is still 2 yellows! if you watch football you will see when a player gets sent off for 2 yellows the ref will show the 2nd yellow card before he shows an immediate red! so 4 yellows in 3 games is easy! there is a possibility of 6 yellows in 3 games but that would then in turn be 3 reds but only after the required 2 yellows are shown first! and also a straight red carries a 2 match ban whereas a red from 2 yellows is only 1 game ban!

Bet you feel a bit of a tit now...We bid 2mil they want close to 3...it was TURNED DOWN...like I SAID....

Not til after 7.30 according to SSN and if you really wanna ask if i feel like a tit about it then the answer is ....NO! Cos seeing as the sunday sun reported that our first bid of " million was turned down im afraid you were just reporting 24 hour old news! i actually thought you meant the new bid of 3 million which still hasnt been reported as being turned down! SSN would report any changes on its transfer update and hasnt! so lets get it right!
