Boss Alan Pardew had been keen to bring N'Zogbia back to St James' Park but it would now seem as if Newcastle are ready to move on to other targets due to N'Zogbia's wage demands.
The 25-year-old is reportedly demanding wages in the region of £60,000 a week and Newcastle are ready to end their interest, despite the fact the Toon were willing to match Wigan's £12million asking price.
N'Zogbia could now be set to join Sunderland or Liverpool, while Newcastle may step up their interest in free agent Vicente after pulling out of the race for the Wigan winger.

N'Zogbia would be on 60,000 a week and if Jonas leaves why not use that money to pay N'Zogbia's wages, hes better? anyone agree or disagree, comment.

Coloccini might be going too as he is a top earner and can be replaced with someone younger and cheaper.

Steve Harper may be on his way out too as it is getting on a bit and in my opinion is a bit harsh as he has been so patient. This will leave Krul as our #1 and Forster to challenge for the #1 spot.

as for who is coming in, that's anyones guess, the powers that be at nufc are keeping their card close to their chest and we will all know at the last moment or not until its announced like Marveaux.
