I personally think wait until summer see if any of the strikers start scoring or a new player.

Expect most of the carroll money to be spent on young exciting talent from around Europe and south America. Ashley business model is to make profit were ever he can ie, bringing in young talent for reasonable fees ie; tiote, and then selling for huge profits if the right offer comes along. The times at Newcastle of signing big name players with huge salaries are gone. Expect 2 established international players to arrive, with maybe 2-3 young exciting south Americans via the connection with "Kia" Joorabchian Ashley has recently made. Mike Ashley has said that all of the 35m will get spent in the summer on new player. I don't no why everyone is crapping them selfs
- mate, I think it just has to do with half the people are in shock he left, the other half don't trust ashley.
I'd be thrilled even if we only got to spend half the money come summer, SO LONG AS it is Mr. Graham Carr bringing the players forth and not Pardew. It's been that way since last year and I hope it remains. 9mil on tiote and ben arfa while we were gonna sh*t away 12mil on Crouch and Nzogs. THAT is why i am upset (and not because i think zogs is a bad player, but Dave Whelan, doing a favour for us, and that favour just happens to be a player we sold for half the amount two years ago who didn't want to be here. hmmm.)

Ed do you contacts no who is telling the truth
about what happened yesterday with Carroll did he actually jump ship or was he pushed {ed's note - my info was that Ashley was trying to persuade Carroll to go, he wanted to accept Spurs money but couldn't convince Carroll. When Liverpool came in with such a huge bid he was able to convince the lad it was to the club's benefit that he left. That is my understanding of the situation. I am not sure I like that as a Liverpool fan, it is nice to think players are desperate to move to your club rather than have to be persuaded to join!}

Super Llambias-not so much for him going out to do the deal with whoever cos no one came so much for preparing for Carrolls obvious departure. Harry Redknapp was unsettling him 2 months ago and continued to do so

As you seen with Carroll it's all about the money so if Newcastle were to make a bid Whelan saw as a good deal he would accept course he would.
