Offer accepted for Steven Pienaar can't honestly see him signing for us though, Bothroyd as well , good deals but both are 28/29 years old so no resale value and in Pienaars case sky high wages im sure.If Everton take Smith and Cardiff Routledge or Best that would ease the pain a bit

Just heard Newcastle are talking to Wolfsburg about Karim Ziani if this is true I am a little bit worried about how well this will go down with Ben Arfa as they had a training ground bust up while playing for OM and have never made up since.

{Editor's Note: You are right, it may prove to be a problem, particularly as Newcastle seemed to have calmed Ben Arfa. There are others interested in Ziani - not least Monaco.}

Newcastle trying to agree a fee with Cardiff city for Jay Bothroyd. Any deal is unlikely to be concluded until after the derby. Price will be around 1.5-2 million but might be slight bit lower as Newcastle are trying to lower price by adding player to the deal with Guthrie or Ranger(loan) likely.
