The Daily Star (I know, reliable source isn't it) is reporting that we are scouting Cagliari (Sorry if I got the name wrong) youngsters Gianmarco Paulis (18) and Simone Solinas (17) (centre mid and forward respectively). The article also says that the only other team that may be interested is Ipswich.

Why not. The last Italian youngster we signed Fabio Zamblera was a sensation.

Meh little truth or evidence, and as someone earlier said the last youth player we signed from italy fabio zamblera* was beyond woeful. Who knows how good these players are and when was the last time newcastle brought through a youth player that didn't start at the club. i'm struggling to think of one.
