Leeds fan in peace (again!) Smudger is always getting linked with a move to Everton and the Leeds rumours refuse to die off. .anyone reliable on here have any gossip about what the crack is?
I get the opinion that Smudger wants to stay but if his first team opportunities are limited he will rethink, I'm not sure going to teams like Blackburn, Everton or Stoke would be a good idea, I think he needs to go somewhere where he can be a hero on the pitch as well as off, at the moment he's well liked by the Newcastle set up but being a good PR man and being a positive influence is a bit of a kick in the teeth when he could be doing so much more. Come on Ken Bates, you tight old geezer, bring him home so everyone's happy :D
