Lee Clark has allowed the star youngster of Birmingham Nathan Redmond to be picked up on a free by his old club Newcastle United, cause he's "one of the lads" y'kna.

Believable14 Unbelievable13

Hearing that Debuchy is to sign early next week. Personal terms have been agreed so more than likely Newcastle have agreed a fee with Lille.

I've heard no news on Remy signing other than we have declared interest in the lad, no update on Andy Carroll in terms of Newcastle, however with the fact West Ham bidding £17million for him, can't see Newcastle matching that. But who knows.

Skysports are reporting tonight that Newcastle are interested in Swansea Centre back Williams, (Douglas transfer fell through? Maybe)

(ToonThomas)

Believable11 Unbelievable7

This is how it is for WEST HAM they have bid 17 million for andy carrol 2 million upfront then the rest from next year.....at least we would be paying cash upfront but honestly it would be a bad move playing in the bottom half of the league as allardyce is knowing for defending and think it will risk is international chances.......k

Agree2 Disagree0

There is a sell on in his contract too, so Newcastle get a sum of the transfer fee. Meaning Liverpool would get the same amount selling to west ham for 17m, than selling him to us for around 12-14m {Ed001's Note - and where did you hear that? Because as far as anyone at Liverpool is aware, there is no sell on clause.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Well I for one seen a reporter on sky sports news outside st James park the day Carroll was sold.he said the fee was 35mill and the only sell on clause being a 25percent sell on fee if Carroll was sold..I seen it with my own eyes so where did the reporter get his information? {Ed001's Note - I expect they made it up as usual with Sly.}

Agree0 Disagree0

We wont be getting debuchy and there is no sell on clause

Agree0 Disagree2

Andy carroll wont come back 2 toon as he cant stand ashley its just a smoke screen about him coming back he wants 2 go to spurs watch this space!!

Agree0 Disagree1

Carroll at spurs would be Gazza mark 2 .

NUFC chasing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. They had a close look at him yesterday when he played for Gabon v Switzerland. He scored Gabon's goal too.

Agree1 Disagree1

Ive been working at the training ground at newcastle and there has been no talk what so ever about the lad joining and nothing from the gabon team either as ive been speaking to some of the players and coaches

Just wanted to ask people if they could bring in a CB for the club say between 4-8million who would they go for? If Douglas is now out i would like to see a bid for Sakho but 8mil might be a stretch.

Believable0 Unbelievable9

Sakho would never want to join you, the team he is at is better and arsenal and lyon are in for him and they are both better as well

Agree0 Disagree0

Without the lying scumbag rvp you will be knackered

Agree0 Disagree0

Mackems are on early today.

Agree0 Disagree0

Have you got a rumour? this is not the banter page

Agree0 Disagree0

I dont know if you's would want him but Ashley Williams, on skysports it says that we are looking at him

Agree0 Disagree0

Hmm....was a simple question i thought!

Agree0 Disagree0

At best Ashenaal will finish 4th or maybe 6th
What a lot of money spent just to be in the race

Agree0 Disagree0

I would look at angelo ogbonna Steven caulker or cieran Clark in that order

Agree1 Disagree0

What makes me laugh about the so called top teams coming on here gobbing off is that only just finished ahead a team in its second season back in the premiership. Arsenal have never showed any signs of progression in years. I would be more worried about your team than ours. Don't see any of our big players asking to leave....

Agree0 Disagree0

Would have a try for Rhys Williams from the Smoggies for 3-4 million.

Agree1 Disagree0

Yeah heard a bit about Rhys Williams lately but dont know how good he is.

It promises to be a busy week for Newcastle United next week.

A deal for Debuchy is in place following Lille's acceptance of NUFC's offer last week and the player subsequently agreeing terms yesterday. He will under go a medical on Monday and be announced shortly after.

Newcastle are also close to agreeing a deal for Loic Remy. Marsaille have accepted Newcastle's £12 million cash up front bid and the only thing standing in the way is personal terms. Once they have been agreed Remy will move to NUFC.

Vurnon Anita remains one of NUFC's top targets and have set AJAX a date of Monday 30th July to either accept or reject their £5 million offer. The toon are confident Ajax will accept the deal and it could be pushed through as early as next week.

On the CB front Curtis Good will become a Newcastle player officialy once the paper work has been submitted and verified but the pusuit of Douglas has indeed been called off. Newcastle will look to other targets but it is likely that they may wait until January to return for Douglas.

Believable10 Unbelievable12

If everything goes to plan, next season will be very exciting indeed. Let's hope the new signings will gel aswell as last seasons did. Can't wait for the season to kick off!

Agree0 Disagree0

I will cream my pants if your telling the truth! ha {Ed026's Note - Easy! haha

Agree0 Disagree0

Can only say i hope this is the truth and Remy is on his way....excited would be a understatment!

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice story, loads of b***cks tho

Agree0 Disagree0

Sounds good, lets hope you're not talking sh*te.

Agree0 Disagree0

Have to say you sound sensible, plausible and genuine. I hope you are because that news would be excellent if it is true.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah I don't know why I'm really drawn to believe this post......... Which I never do, I'll be proper gutted if it's a mackem taking this p*ss!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Sensible, plausible and genuine, that's as maybe but because he can write in an aloquent fashion doesn't mean he has a single idea what he is talking about anyone who reads newsnow or listens to ssn could have put this together, all players we have been linked with from those sources, I hope it's true and I can't say it wont be but it's hardly breaking news

Agree0 Disagree0

Hmm debuchy around 8m remy 12m anita 5m douglas 5m thats 30m no way ashley gonna spend that much. dream on

Debuchy to sign early next wk, when the team return from Portugal. Personal terms have been agreed, wich is unusual b4 the fee is agreed. But some kind of deal must have been struck due to negotiations having taken place. Source- journal.

Newcastle to wrap up the Debuchy deal by Tuesday next week when they return from Portugal. MA has agreed to up the asking price. Good news. Makings of a very solid back 4. Hopefully a CB to follow.

Heard from my uncle who works at St. James Park that Debuchy deal is all but signed and that Carroll is just a smokescreen as we are seriously trying to get Remy deal completed before the big four realise and one of them puts in an offer.

Believable17 Unbelievable7

Why do people always come on here claiming their uncles mates milkman told them some carp everyone else just reads in the papers?

Agree0 Disagree0

Why do some people come on here moaning about rumours being CARP hello it's a rumours site

Agree0 Disagree0

If his uncle is working at St James atm then surely he knows nowt about the Toon since the place has been taken over by Locog and has nothing to do with Newcastle? In other words hes a bull s***er.

Agree0 Disagree0

Before the big four realise? bit late since they ( tottenham and the gunners ) were in for him well before us. it is just paper talk like everyone else who can read already knows.

Agree0 Disagree0

I belive it says Rumour site at top of the page so why complain about the post???

Agree0 Disagree0

Just to point out that a lot of staff that work at st james' during the season, are actually working during the olympics... though the players etc wont be going near the place at the minute.

Pardiola is returning to his old club West Ham to solve our centre back problem. He fancies James Tomkins, but nothing can happen for a while because Tomkins is with Team GB. Ashley willing to pay £5m.

Believable5 Unbelievable13

I saw him against Brazil and he was awful!! Get Douglas,Sakho or mbiwa

Agree1 Disagree0

Rather have Douglas who is better, cheaper, between £3.5m-£5m because West Ham will want stupid money like £7m, when he is worth £4m tops

Agree0 Disagree0

Hasn't Tomkins just signed a new deal at West Ham??

Agree0 Disagree0

He is horrendous anyway
