Can't see any incomings and potential 2 outgoings - simpson and Tiote on last day - excuse that no time to buy replacements and wait til January - sounds a familiar story

Can anyone explain what good it does Pardew saying daily we fear a bid for one of our big players? Is this a underhand way of telling us someone is leaving or we are powerless to resist an offer. This clearly sends out the wrong signals to any targets we may have.
Ashley needs to back the team that finished 5th last season. We are only 2/3 players from really challenging for a top 4 spot. We can't keep buying cheap to sell on at a huge profit. It won't always work.

Good crack mate puppet pardew says it coz he will be waiting on ashley to find out how much he will be putting in his pocket. i cant stand ashley wish he would sell up? thing is we have no debt now but cashley wont spend to take us that step up we will finish no higher than 11th ,get carroll back
Agree0

Unbelievable we've just finished 5th and lost to Chelsea what do u doom merchants want
Agree5
Disagree0
He will always offload his players i wish we had mon and short to be honest at least they are lookin to progress in the future. all we do is get good players then sell them we have no chance.
Agree1
Disagree1
Unless he's saying it do when we don't sign anyone and don't actually sell anyone they can at least we kept our players and the fans won't be as bothered

What we do know is NUFC including AC's departure have taken in well over 220m and have the comfort of 70% more from TV this season
Only half year acounts have been released and the 2nd half due last June are yet to appear,
That is why in Ashley's tenure at this club everything will be shrouded in speculation until the true effect of brilliant trading since Jan 2011 are available for all the fans and then lets see what the pro Ashley clowns have to say.
Agree0
Disagree2
I cant understend pardew either he constantly saying we cant do anything to stop bigger clubs buying our best players, all he is doing is putting them in the shop window he should be saying NOT FOR SALE at any price
Agree0
Disagree0
They could say no ..and at worst this would force the price up
Currently it feels they want to sell a big name but haven't had any firm interest and are trying to stimulate some
Will end up we will sell at a lower rate and unsettle the squad - doesn't make any sense at all to me
Agree0

This post has nothing to do with where we finished last season. Read it. Nothing doom mongering about it.
Agree0

MON bankrupt Aston villa. Hel'll do the same to the Makems
Agree2

Nothing to explain the fans are treat like c...p the 5 year plan has come and gone
Finishing 5th caught everyone out.
Ambition none Ashley simply does not want the hassle of a succesful CL football team it is simply to complicated
Agree0
Disagree2
Who has actually been off loaded that should not have been (ask QPR if they still want Barton)
Agree0
Disagree0
What do you mean we have no debt. Have you seen the books? we are still massively in debt, just not as bad as we were when shepherd was running us in to the ground
Agree1

A tad frustrated with our lack of activity in strengthening the first 11. Debuchy is a must because he adds a new dimension. He's quick, strong and will provide great support going forward. Simpson simply isnt good enough. Dempsey (who looks like he could be joining the filth) would be an excellent signing as he can play midfield or up front.
Agree0
Disagree0
How can Pardew win? So he says nothing and then we sell a player and he'll be the bad man for not being honest. He is being realistic if Man Utd come in with a daft bid then the player is off. The only clubs in the world who aren't like that are Man City and Real Madrid (bank rolled by Spanish government). Look at Ronaldo, Figo and Kaka all sold by massive clubs in their time
What you hope is that if someone goes we have player(s) lined up. Debuchy should have been here by now it's pathetic we've left it this long. We also need a CB. I think we are ok up front until January. I just wish we'd go back to 4 3 3. Cabeye can run games in that position and we are better as a team playing that way the results we got speak for themselves
Saying you want MON is just stupid next you will want fat Freddie back! £14 million on a striker that's been relegates two seasons running and shown his loyalty by putting in transfer requests no thanks!
Agree1

We have no debt to any banks or finance or intrest payments or are u iliterate?? ashley bought club then as soon as he signed the loans he never knew about became payable straightaway.....he then handed roughly another 25 million over when we hit championship.....yes players have gone but we are probably one of the only clubs who are self sufficent...it would benefit ashley more if we are in europe and champions league as then the club is more valuable....theres no way we should over pay for a player pretty sure we all have had digs at safc over fletcher price....edd can you explain that ashley its in our intrest to be as high as possible...k
Agree0

No but my accounts have. We have no sent
Ashley is NUFC he owes money to himself
And ÑUFC are stuctured for that
Wake up man

A bit concerned that our two strikers don't seem to link up together bearing in mind they play together for their country as well.
Ben Arfa has been class first two games head and shoulders above the rest.
Much as I would like Debuchy I think we need to move Santon to right back and sign a left footed fullback who can get forward and cross early instead of checking back onto the right foot to cross, same problem with Guti, he works very hard for team but is predictable with his crosses.
Not to disappointed with the result against a very good chelseas team only disappointed with our lack of investment at a time when we good reap the benefit and possibly make top four with 2 or 3 more quality signings i.e Remy to put pressure on the demba's. Centre half and left back.
The leagues between Manc Manu and Chelski. But fourth place is up for grabs from any of Arsenal (can't score) Liverpool (in transition could go either way) Spurs (same as Liverpool) Dark horses Everton (like us string starting 11 but lacking depth). There will be a surprise as well (like us last season).
Please MA invest, top four or five again will bring big rewards from sky tv monies this season.
Believable12

Totally agree, we need to invest more in the squad because we have nothing on the bench, although I dont want to see us paying over the top a rb cb st and maybe at a push a lw wouldnt go a miss
Agree0

He wont spend 2 greedy he needs to spend £50m to take us on that bit more (but he wont ) 11th this season
Agree0

Definitely need another striker ba and ciss too similar there hold up play on Saturday not good enough
Agree0
Disagree0
We also need a creative midfielder. We have loads of midfielders but no creativity.Cabaye is a steady player but plays too deep and doesnt have the killer pass in him.

Agree with everything you have said there mate!

Hi Sunderland supporter here I come in peace is it true that Newcastle are havin a swap bid Walcott for tiote and cabye.
Agree0
Disagree1
Never in a million years would we consider swapping Walcott for Cabaye AND Tiote.
Bear in mind that Cabaye has three years left on his contract and Tiote has 5, whereas Walcott only has one, which means there would have to be a whole lot of money involved on Arsenal's end aswell.
On another note, why do people (fans)persist with asking for player exchanges? It rarely happens in real life, but every time I wander over to the Liverpool page all I see is " They want AC? Well if they offer Ben Arfa/Cisse/Cabaye/Ba etc as well as 10mil, I'll take it". Getting rather tedious.
Agree0
Disagree0
Ba and cisse are starting to link up i think AP is starting to give ba more of a free role of joining cisse, playing on the wings or just behind. I think we need remy, to give a bit of competition, who is more of a utility striker so maybe a 4-3-1-2 krul, santon (RB) coloccini s taylor anita tiote (CDM) cabaye ben arfa (Playing more of a wing role) Remy playing behind ba and cisse in a free role with ba

Latest Rumours of 17million being offered for Carroll! If we have 17 million to spend why are we spending it on Carroll? I would rather see us spend 8-10million max on a 3rd striker. That leaves 7 million for the defensive we cover we desperately need!
Believable9
Unbelievable17
Well at least i think carroll is fit Cisse aint i was at chelski and i would have had him of after 10mins he did not give a rubbish never tried once carroll will shake them up they are going on about this ramadam crap well dont play him untill he is sorted judging 1st 2 games of season 11th will be where we end up TOON BARMY

Cabeye is going 2 arsenal he wanted his mate here debuchy but as nufc wont spend the cash he is off good luck 2 cabeye we aint big enough to keep him
Agree0

Cabeye isn't going anywhere. Neither is Tiote. Not big enough to keep him? Cheers Mackem.

I cant believe people are flapping saying we will finish 11th after 2 games! we've beaten spurs and lost away to the european champions, hopefully we will bring in 2 more faces and challenge for the top 7
