Just heard from a friend that Pards is thinking about going for wolves forward kevin doyle. .Think its not a bad idea personally but hes been injured for awhile and is out of practice. also hearing the gibbs rumours but don't think Wenger wud be stupid enough to let that happen. . berba wud be nice though

more than likely a rumour made up to wind up the mackems (fair play whoever made it up) but would take him in a heartbeat if there was a chance, and with all four first team strikers at utd looking like being there next season i m sure if the right offer came in he d be attainable. . ideal world would take them both!

heard a rumour on facebook that newcastle have been linked with keiron gibbs from arsenal in a gibbs plus cash deal for enrique, doubt its true but that's what rumour sights are for i suppose!

I'd rather keep Enrique of course but it looks as if he wants out with Arsenal leading the pack and, along with rumours that Bendtner is wanted by us, Arsenal are allowing him to leave and we need a striker or two still.

Jonas Gutierrez is willing to stay at Newcastle - according to his agent. However the situation may favour Gutierrez as Newcastle, despite willing to meet Wigan Athletic's 12 million pound figure, is unwilling to meet Charles N'zogbia's 60,000 pound a week wage. Therefore Newcastle have withdrawn talks with the player as well as the fact that Alan Pardew does not want to compromise dressing room morale.

Worrying times at the club as Newcastle could start the season without six of our best players from last season. Nolan has already left, Enrique is expected to leave, Barton could leave for cheap as he only has 1 year left on his contract, Jonas and Collocini could return to Spain, while Tiote could be subject to a late bid from Man U, Chelsea, Spurs or Arsenal if they can't land the players they want! If this is the case the three players we have signed will need to be added to by at least four or five more. Here is a list of players who we have a chance of signing.
