When we signed Jose, he was a highish rated left back. I think we should replace him with the same, Jose angel. For some reason he didn't sign for barcelona but think we shod replace home with him......
However, when we signed him, he took a while to settle in and was pretty much useless but he's worth the risk due to the Barcelona interest.

None of that made any sense

Good player, always wary of signing Spanish though, rare enough they settle at all in England

Teteh Bangura scored 4 new goals in tonights game so he keeps scoring, might be a good target even though he has only proven himself in the swedish league so far.

For me he is a must buy he will go well with ba up top

ED do you know who are new striker target will be if the Erding deal falls through? which is looking likely.

What I do know is the only real approach that is being reported in the media is for Shane Long... think Reading have inflated his price tag to try and keep him though and we wont pay 10million for him... only way it would happen is if Best went in the other direction plus cash... which to be honest could happen as Hughton has declared an interest in him...

Only others with any truth i`d say, and even this is speculation, is Danny Sturridge, but for a loan deal, and at that we`d lose out to Bolton on that front I think...

Apart from that only other one is Bendtner, which I wouldnt consider to be true at all only for they have made an approach for Enrique, and knowing Wengers fixation on not parting with cold hard cash he may have offered Bendtner as part of the deal.. but in saying that I dont think we would pay him what hes looking for, around 80K a week from reports...

So in answer to your question, your guess is as good as mine mate ha sorry.. as we`ve seen with the Marveaux signing, could just be a signing out of the clear blue sky that nobody has mentioned before! seem to be keeping their cards close to their chest these days!

Yeah i agree that the club will be playing their cards close to their chest, hopefully we sign a quality new striker in the next week or so and it just comes out the blue like the marveaux signing.
I think we should be looking at:
danny sturridge
Jeremain lens
salomon rondon
nicklas bendtner(possibly, but not for 12 million).

Sturridge has said he wants to stay and fight for his place at chelsea, however if they sign another striker and tell him he is not in their plans he will look for a move.

Wenger has said he won't be replacing Clichy so Arsenal are out of the running for Enrique so now it's Liverpool and maybe a few foreign clubs but Liverpool seem to be looking abroad and at Cissokho.

+ enrique is said to only wanna leave for champions league....but he does seem to love newcastle so lets hope he stays hed have to be really thick to go to Liverfool

I wouldn't mind Bentner to be honest, he seems to work hard for Arsenal. Although to be honest before last season I did not rate him at all, but he played well for the gooner in the last campaign and I think he would do well for us... unless of course the fat one decides to buy us danny sturridge, then bentner can GTF.
