Use our rumours form to send us newcastle transfer rumours.

Spurs played us very well, constantly putting our players under pressure which restricted Cabaye from having as much effect as usual. And we were beaten by a world class player in Bale.

After giving everything against Chelsea and then playing midweek for France Sissoko looked knackered but still got an assist.

If we had Hatem playing he would of tore Kyle Naughton apart but instead we had Jonas.
I can't really remember Marveaux playing well after coming off the bench he struggles to adjust to the pace of the game but hopefully he starts against Metalist.
Fingers crossed Gouffran is ok he was brilliant Today.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Marveaux didn't touch the ball, he's out of touch after not playing for a few games.

Agree0 Disagree0

I know but I've never really seen him have any influence on a game when he's come off the bench.

Krul standards have dropped his kicking is poor the second goal he could done a lot better bobby

Believable6 Unbelievable4

Slow down for first goal / his kicking is always suspect sometime during a game. Cisse is a passenger and we need to give cambell a chance, I could have scored half his chances this season. header chance today if he took it we would of gone on to win

Agree2 Disagree0

And what about the saves he made bale himself could have 4 or 5 if not for krull it would have been an embarrasing result

Agree4 Disagree0

Are you joking? Colo shouldn't have let Bale take the ball on in the first place, although he could have done better, but like the comment above he saved us quite a few times. His kicking is only 'suspect' because he has to clear the ball SO much. How many times do you think Lloris had to boot it out? I can assure you Krul's kicking is just as good as anyone else's, he just has to do it a lot more.

LFC fan here, I must say that, what a buy Newcastle made with sissoko. top signing.

Believable8 Unbelievable1

Early days but so far i'm pleased with him

Agree3 Disagree1

How is it early days?

Did Sissoko just start taking up the game of football 3 games ago?

Sissoko has always been a top player.

There are not 'buts or ifs'.

Great signing.

Agree2 Disagree2

Because I've seen him play three games and your determine wether you've made a decent signing until you see that he is consistent now stop being so biased

two defensive errors cost us today perch should of jumped for free kick and taylor and colo dnt know what they were doing for the second.
as for cisse was like playing with ten men he is a waste of time. gouffran was best man out there for us by far just hope its not a bad injury.
also feel like santon keeps getting sucked in to middle and they had loads of space on wings

Believable3 Unbelievable2

10? Jonas was playing so more like 9.

Agree2 Disagree2

Cisse had a great game.

Cabaye was not passing to his usual high standards, so Cisse dragged 2 players wide and set up our goal.

Agree1 Disagree3

I thought Cisse done well today, we were very unlucky not to get anything, hope Gouffrans not out for long, he's looking decent

what's the matter with perch can he not jump. his fault first goal also when ball came through for spurs 2nd goal he stood and watched the ball what's the matter with him his fault we lost the points today hard luck lads

Believable2 Unbelievable1

The first goal honestly scares me alot. Decent free kick but the communication in the wall was shocking. Sissoko clearly said to stay standing but when the free kick was taken they seemed clueless. One of four jumping? I think for this new team to work Pardew needs to work drills from the very basics

Hearted loss. To be honest bale was Brill. Sissoko wasn't the best. Tiote starting to look like the player he was last season. Any news on gouffran? Both of their goals were mistakes from us. Cisse looks a bit lackluster. But to be fair, only 2-1 was is pretty good as we commited men forward.

Believable5 Unbelievable1

You're right, Sissoko wasn't the best because of Bale. Good thing he was the second best man on the pitch.

If you are not watching the Newcastle game, do not let any reports tell that you Bale scored a good 2nd goal.

Bale went wide with the ball, had a shot straight at the keeper and Krul let is in through his legs.

What has happened to Krul this season? Saves all over over the place and cannot clear his lines.

I always rated Harper myself, Krul needs to a break.

That is a point thrown away on another out of form player being given a starting berth.

Nightmare.

Believable3 Unbelievable5

Are you drunk?

Agree0 Disagree2

To the 2nd comment.

Did you even watch the game or see the 2nd goal.

Do not tell fibs, be honest, you did not see it did you?

If you think Krul is not responsible for the 2nd goal, then you are obviously just blagging it.

Keep your comments to yourself unless you have seen the game, then and only then may you get back to us.

It is not the first time we have dropped points this season because of Krul, he let Baines score from about 40 yards out a few games ago.

I could name you loads of goals that Krul should have saved this season.

Agree2 Disagree2

How on earth does the blame with the second goal lie with Krul?! Did YOU even watch the game? Look at it again and try to explain what Colo was doing, he faffed about, gave Bale a chance and he took it. Granted Krul could have done better but it was not primarily his fault. I can assure you, I watched the full 90 minutes, I suggest you stop scapegoating whilst doing the same.

Agree0 Disagree0

So Bale drags the ball wide, and from an acute angle Krul allows the ball to go through his legs. and you are saying it is not the Keepers fault?

9 times out of 10 a keeper would save that.

Maybe you watched the full game, but you sound to me like the same person that blamed Williamson for everything, and now you have moved on your negative focus onto Colo.

Tell me, do you pick out a centreback and focus all of your attention on them, while remaining oblivious to what is happening in the rest of the game?

It sure sounds like it.

You need to open your eyes and start seeing the game, instead of laying the blame on Colo.

Go look at the goals again, you may get back to me when you have a better understanding of the game.

Agree0 Disagree0

What is this guy talking about?

You said you watched the full 90 minutes? Did you watch the replay of the 2nd goal?

Coloccini came for the ball but it bounced too high, if Colo would have raised his boot any higher he would have taken Bale down and got sent off.

How you can blame Colo for that goal is beyond imagination.

You clearly have no clue what you are talking about.

Seriously, watch the replays before dreaming stuff up.

Very difficult game this is, adebayor will probs start. But I see no reason why we can't win this. Our confidence is sky high and can't you see tottenhams unbeaten streak ending soon?

Agree2 Disagree2

This is a wee bit bias.
