Ashley interested in purchasing a stake in Rangers. I thought that wasn't permitted due to conflicting interests. Anybody enlighten me?

Believable0 Unbelievable2

It might be tax deductable, most charity donations are. are they even called Rangers? what league are they in now.PUB TEAM!!

Agree1 Disagree7

I thought the same.....k

Agree2 Disagree1

I think you are allowed to be the major stake holder in any amount of teams aslong as they are in different countries, but i think you can own small parts of lots of clubs in the same league

Agree0 Disagree1

Pub team you person, well they had 40,000 in there pub on a Tuesday night for a no game so wish on

am i the only one worried about the fact that we have no first team players through the door and now MA is trying to buy shares in rangers. a mean wats he thinking wouldn't this be a conflict of interest.

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Guys calm down, buying shares in the Gers the now would be pocket money to MA,10% share was sold for 1 million about a month ago, actually think anyone with a bit of cash could do a lot worse with having a wee fluttter, club was valued at 200 million a few years back

Just read that Sammy won be ready for the start of the season. Hope he recovers quick as what I saw of him last season he looks a handful and was looking forward to seeing him push on this season and challenge for some of the cup games and even european ones.

Believable4 Unbelievable3

It would appear that Sami is like his brother - injury prone. In 10 years time HE'LL probably still be playing a quarter of every season too for us!

Agree1 Disagree2

Dont care as long as he sami does to the makems what shola does and score goals lmfao...

People are posting saying its worrying that we've not signed any first team players, but based on pre season, Amalfitano and Bigirimana have looked very good players. The return of Steven Taylor is practically a signing in itself. Marveaux is also coming back from injury and is looking good. And we still have time to sign more players. Also, Tavernier has probably been the best of the pre season bunch and could make it into the first team towards the end of the season. I for one am not worried one bit. We put 5 past Hartlepool tonight and that's without the 2 Senegalese beasts.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

You are living in wonderland it will become apparent to you without a couple of defenders brought in

Agree2 Disagree2

The reason people are worried is because i think stoke really struggled with all the fixtures this year, and it showed on some results. we don't want that to happen to us.

Agree1 Disagree0

Like I said Steven Taylor is back, Tavernier is breaking through and we've signed Good. I also expect that Anita will sign and perhaps a CB late in the window.

Think I'll have a cheeky bet on the makems going down. Thrashed off York, well beaten by Hartlepool and beat off Gateshead. Their over aged team have just got a year older and it is really showing. Bye bye SMBs

Believable6 Unbelievable1

Come on don't need to be over aged to be relegated why didn't you prove that when you whent down lol

Agree0 Disagree0

You can add Derby County to the list of teams they've failed too beat now. If I was a makem I'd be seriously worried!

Agree0 Disagree0

Gordie here just saying smb avege age 26
Nufc averge age 28

Agree0 Disagree1

Definitely not of the starting 11, our only player over 30 in our starting 11 is Colo.

Agree0 Disagree0

Toon first team from last year has an average age of 25. Safc first team average was 29 so how with no changes to either has it swapped and chaged now?
