I think everyone is plunking names out the air now. No one on here knows who Newcastle are looking to buy if anyone. Media link us with French players because of the infulks in French players last season. Untill the club state we have signed someone you will never know. One thing is certain with kinnear coming in it will be players on the cheap not 10+mil players and that will be funded by player sales so if you want a new striker say goodbye to Kabab to fund it with a cheap replacement for him in midfield. We have to hope the team has the sprit but unlikly with all these french players like they did 2 season ago or we are in for a long hard season if we don't sign top players I would be happy to stay in the EPL never mind finish top half.

We need attackers that can play wide as well as through the middle.
Here are a few players that I think could do well for Newcastle and that may actually want to play for us.
Ince. Bernard. Deulofeu. Wijnaldum, Zaozinho not to mention Remy and Indeye.
Why are we not in for any of these guys all are at the right age and can play in different positions but most of all are good exciting players.

For those who are interested St Etienne have released a statement saying Anzhi, Rubin and us bid more for Aubameyang than Dortmund but all 3 bids were rejected because Dortmund was his preferred destination.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Sounds wrong way to do it, you got a link to this statement.
if a club bids more then surely the bid would be accepted allowing the club permission to talk to the player and convince him to move.

Everyone should just be a little patient with Kinnear. He is not at SJP at this moment because he is coaching Andy Murray at Wimbledon then he has to go to Egypt to sort that mess out. i'm sure after that he will start negotiations with Ronaldo and Madrid before completing the Messi deal. The future of our club is in very capable hands with Ashley, Kinnear and Pardew. PLEASE PLEASE an Arab or Russian, come to our rescue.

Class. LMAO.

Can anyone tell me why we didn't try and sign ricky van wolfswinkel Norwich payed 8.5 mil for him surely he would have joined nufc over Norwich given a chance or can we not compete with the likes of Norwich swansea Southampton etc

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We didn't go in for him

Agree0 Disagree0

We need a fast striker that's why we've only been linked with aubameyang, remy and bent

Agree0 Disagree0

Van Wolfswinkel? Not impressed by what I've seen of him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Netherlands 97 apps 34 goals portugal 55 apps 28 goals not a bad record and he is only 24 yrs old

Agree0 Disagree0

Apparently seen as too lightweight for the premier league. Might as well do away with Campbell then.

We do not need a second-choice striker, we need a first. Cisse was anything but clinical last season; got some good goals but compare that to the amount f chances he had.

That's why we need to be targeting someone like LITTLE PEA as opposed to Charlie Austin.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Don't think that Man U would let Little Pea go quite frankly and if they did I think he'd go to someone with more ambition than us - unfortunately.

i was thinking about the loic remy situation ( his up coming court case ) would it not be better to go to qpr with a offer to take him on loan for the season ( put a clause in the contract if he gets sent down we stop paying his wages )then to buy him after the loan period ends ( or if he gets off at court buy him then ) seems like a win win for us my thoughts. geordie tom

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Geordie tom no club in their right mind would take a deal like that. it is highly unlikely that newcasstle or any club will take a gamble on buying a player who could end up going to jail for rape if he is found guilty of this heinous crime then his career as a footballer is over.

Agree0 Disagree0

I know mate was just a thought. geordie tom

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice thought geordie tom, but i've heard we've already put a bid in! apparently his release clause is 5-8mil

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe Ashley will try to drive a harder bargain, qpr need rid of him, remy wants rid of qpr, but no one is interested.
they could try to get him cheaper then the clause price.

Agree0 Disagree0

Exactly how Ashley thinks and that is why we WON'T sign anyone

Newcastle rumours

Imminent transfer news relating to the signing of two key players to be announced. From what I have been told news should be filtering through as early as next Monday, but never hold your breath with Newcastle, so give or take a day.

The key players which are being chased are the Galatassaray striker Yilmaz and if that fails talks are ongoing with man united re Chicarito
The other player is Honda, who will come in to replace the departing Cabaye, under the noses of Liverpool. Fee paid will be minimal

Good times are rolling in

Believable0 Unbelievable0

And where did you hear this? Was it yours mates uncles sisters cousin who worjs at SJP by any chance?

Agree0 Disagree0

Chicarito will be a good signing, we said will were going for PEA just Little PEA instead! can't see Manchester United letting him leave but new manager might have new plans

Agree0 Disagree0

Its nice to dream

Agree0 Disagree0

Honda over Cabeye? And you say good times rolling. Give your head a shake.

Agree0 Disagree0

You do realise that Manchester United would want around 20 million for Hernandez, he would want wages over 100k a week, and that clubs like Real & Athletico Madrid are tracking him?

Need I say any more?

Agree0 Disagree0

Chicarito, now must have a price tag of 20million!. So in other words out of Newcastle price range, we are only willing to spend between £1-£20 this transfer window!

Agree0 Disagree0

Mate, you have the wrong hernadanz.

Agree0 Disagree0

Honda chicarita yilmaz all will command 80k a week wages will want euripean football and you call us deluded ha ha ha sgb mad max

FFS kinnear gone on holiday to Sardinia and I don't think he's there to buy players. Fat b***ard just had 3 or 4 years off, had time to go on holiday earlier this year, don't go on holiday mid way through the transfer window, when all of our targets are being snapped up. Truely disgraceful and utterly disrespectful to us and Alan Pardew.

Do your job.

PSG set to offer Kevin gameiro as part of the deal for cabaye, also looking at cheaper strike options, kalou, lambert, do-santo, holt and cole all being considered as Parsees plans on playing a 4-4-2 side next season

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Which tea lady told you this?

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely Gary Hooper, Jordan Rhodes, Charlie Austin are all worth it as 2nd choice strikers.

Agree0 Disagree0

We don't want 2nd choice strikers. We want a top striker and give Campbell and Sammi a chance to progress. Gouffran is still a decent player if we played him in his best position.

Left wing is still the weakest part of the team. All our attacks have to come through Cabeye in the middle or Ben Arfa on the right. Every team we play knows this and sets up to combat it. If we get someone on the left we will be a threat from all parts of the pitch.
