Well personally think we should beat the drop and if we do I can't see any players leaving in summer possibly tiote or Ben arfa cabaye will stay now debuchy here wonder if we should sign left back and push santon further forward if we play 442 would like micah richards as our cb but he's Taylor prone don't know about striker but remy does seem likely just don't think anyone will come in before norwich game

Believable1 Unbelievable1

I think we will beat the drop worse teams than us in league but not many

Agree0 Disagree1

I would forget about Micah Richards as to avoid being disappointed, the only reason he dropped out of the team was because of Injury. Richards will be a career player for Man City having came up through their ranks.

Agree0 Disagree0

Daniel Sturridge was through the ranks and msn city have so many defenders it wouldn't surprise me if he left

Agree0 Disagree0

Sturridge only joned city when he was 17

didn't Anil Ambani have some interest in the club once please come back and try again

Believable3 Unbelievable1

I doubt it, his fortunes are greatly diminished during the recession period. plus he's a businessman just like MA, what makes us think he'll run the club any differently.

In fact, some would argue he's a bad businessman, he's inherited part of a large conglomerate from his father which has to a large part seen the value of his business drop.

His brother on the other hand, very successful but not seemingly interested in football.

Agree1 Disagree1

Yes he did mate i wish he would tyr again maybe we could get a load of people to back us up

Agree2 Disagree1

He also had interest in Everton despite being a toon fan.

Agree2 Disagree0

You really think he's thikning of plunging money into a football club:

"He recently topped Business Sheet's "world's biggest loser" list of business leaders who lost money in the late 2000s recession, [6] losing $32.5 billion in 2008"

Believable3 Unbelievable0

I hate the transfer window! Why cant it just be a week or two long instead of a whole month! Surely clubs know what positions they need filled, and should have deals already tied up!

If we dont sign a CB and a Striker within the next 7-10 days we have no hope, and even if we do its a slim one!

Believable3 Unbelievable2

06 Jan 2013 18:02:50
just heard newcastle are giving the world famous scouse psychic derek achora a six month contract at st james park to help pardew out with team selection... but as they say in liverpool ''MY ARSE''...( trying to lighten the mood after all the gloom and doom merchants that have been on the past couple of days) ... geordie tom

Believable2 Unbelievable3

06 Jan 2013 17:36:42
wouldnt go for remy, hes not as good as people make out... st.eittenne striker younger faster and better so makes no sense buying remy plus wants 80k a week....

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Im sure you would change your mind if we got him

Agree7 Disagree1

06 Jan 2013 17:35:25
i think if a CB is hard to find, we should try for Richard Dunne on a 6 month or at worst 18 month contract. been quite reliable over the years if not world class but he's one that's available, more importantly at an achievable fee.

Believable1 Unbelievable3

He would be our top scorer in the wrong net. Also looks like he is running in toffee last thing we need is another slow defender

Agree2 Disagree0

06 Jan 2013 17:01:35
I think this page should be on the newcastle website and mike ashley n alan pardew should get alerts to there mobile phones every time one of the army makes a post so they can go online and have a look and see what the fans want and maybe even put a few posts on themselves and let us no a bit of what happens behind the scenes .... Obviously they wouldnt post tactics or transfer targets but they could post and tell us that they are planning or not planning to spend

Believable3 Unbelievable2

They do come on here its just they do the opposite of what the fans want

we wont get a new manager unless we get a new owner and good things like that dont happen to nufc very often

Believable4 Unbelievable2

We need new players not a new manager.

we need a manager with some fire in his belly but who

Believable4 Unbelievable5

Cant see the point in getting rid of him, but if we did Id like to see Lee Clarke back in some sought of position

Agree7 Disagree5

Michael Laudrup

Agree7 Disagree6

We dont need a new manager we have injuries and plenty of them and yes we should of bought another 3 players in last window but we did, nt so get over it ...replacing managers all the time never gets u any way at all....now back the team....k

Those calling for pardew and ashleys head, think again. Look what ashleys done for us. We can only judge the board until February. If we don't get another 2 or more players in. Then yes we can judge ashley then. But we've still got time. We were lucky with injuries last year, so we could consistently put out a good team and play fluent football. We were in dream land last season and we want to consistently do that. Debuchy makes a world of a difference, remy and a experienced centre back would be amazing. Take for example, Everton, where would they be if they didn't spend in the summer or had fellaini, baines, jagielka and pienaar out for like 4 months. They would be in a relegation scrap. If we carry on getting gems on the cheap and recieving massive money on a single sale, we will eventually go back to the top 8 level. It would be amazing if we did a brilliant comeback in the second half of the season, but i can't see us doing that but what I can see us doing, if we spend this January and summer, we will come back strong next season, like what Everton did last season. They didn't spend 2011 summer but did in Jan, and finished 7th and are now flyning high, that's exactly what we can do this season and next season. Howay the lads.

Believable7 Unbelievable6

Ashley has done nothing but shame the club

Agree9 Disagree5

In my opinion, pardew and ashley should make a MASSIVE apology in an interview to all of us fans. We are the most loyalest, loudest and most of all, most passionate fans in Britain. Selling out the away end at Brighton was a prime example of us. I could hear the geordies all match but the sad thing is, what do you get repaid by pardew and his team? Crappy football, being outclassed and embarrased by a championship club. All you get repaid with is

Believable7 Unbelievable3

-(Carrying on the post)
All you get repaid is an 8 hour journey back to newcastle!

We have to get in at least 3 extra signings that are top quality, centre back (maybe 2), CM/Wing, ST.
CB: Alderweireld 6m/Lescott 8m + (Maybe in summer) Isimat Mirin 3m
(I've seen douglas and he's just another williamson, tall but slow and sloppy)
CM/Wing (maybe in the summer): Sissoko 3m/Ince 4m
ST: Remy 9m + (maybe in summer) Odemwingie 3m/Maiga 4m
I would say our most important signings should be alderweireld and Remy, then try and sneak in ince, sissoko or odemwingie

Believable6 Unbelievable1

Its ok saying who we should get in BUT dont forget that its fatty that ownes our club SO NO MONEY

Agree1 Disagree1

just wondering do you not think aubameyang has the same qualities as neymar? your probably gonna start saying no he isn't but if you look at the style of play aubameyang plays then you'll se he's quick, good touch, winger/striker, can take players on, and can finish then you'll see my point.

and another thing remy will join qpr but his agent will want a relegation release clause.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

I'm not sure if having another striker who we would lose to the ACON (yes i knoe Senegal havent qualified this time, but future ACON's), is the answer.

He might be decent quality, but in a years time we'll be talking about getting another quality striker to cover him and Cisse, which isn't really in the club's finances.

shola's red card should be rescinded and david lopez should be awarded with oscar he should be ashamed of himself he's a disgrace to football.get rid off these cheats spoils the game. haway the toon

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Tiote against the mackems springs to mind

Agree2 Disagree1

Yes i agree he was sent off and quite rightly

Agree3 Disagree0

I don't think you can appeal a sending off with 2 yellows. thankful it's only a one game ban.

Is Pardew getting greyer and baldier ? pressure telling ? starting to look like keegan before he moved on ?? If Ashley doesnt back big and pay over he odds for players for first the team as it was his fault in summer or not buying, then we in trouble, and he should go, but debuchy great signing, anta now looking the part, who knows it should come good

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Pardew looks ill

Sending off was an absolute disgrace.
Blatant diving should receive a ban.
Just in case you think I am going soft, still loved the result.

Jeez.

Believable2 Unbelievable2

06 Jan 2013 08:31:03
I'd say Ashley's at fault for the dismal run of results our team is having right now.He gives Pardew an 8 year deal and now he should back Pardew by bringing in some established first teamers. Yesterdays game, it was like watching our second team of our reserves playing . . .Hope we would start getting some wins from here on . . .iToon

Ed what do u think the chances of us getting remy in? And also any news with a centre back ? {Ed013's Note - I think there is a very good chance, my worries are whether he wants a club that is in the Champions league}

I live down south and today was at the Brighton game, and although it was awful, I was actually quite glad we lost, it is a strain we do not need on an already frail team.
Anyway, this post is about a transfer, when I was waiting at the end of the game and met the players, one of the players agents were there talking with him (I believe it was Bigi) and he was signing some sort of contract. Not sure if there is a loan move in the mill or what but it was rather suspicious. It might have been someone else as they had a beanie covering most of their head but looked like him. Any ideas? {Ed003's Note - Liam Gallagher? }
