mackems make me laugh every week is the same. When we win we were lucky and they are top of the form league blah blah (Still 9 points behind though), the day after we were apparently lucky they come on spouting about how we will lose the next game, suppose they will get it right every now and again which makes me think to never take a betting tip from a Mackem they appear to get predicitions wrong a LOT!

Believable6 Unbelievable4

If ye were truthful but then again not many on here are you would realise you must be the luckiest team ever to play in the premiership on merit the only game you have deserved to win this season was the man utd game so sit back and take a reality check your players are mediocre bar krull.

Agree3 Disagree6

Another bitter mackem. dont you lot ever get sick ov showing ya selfs upwith idiotic statements like that. forever in our shadow

Agree6 Disagree3

How can you say we are luckiest team ever? every team needs a bit of luck, man city and utd all have their fair share, didnt hear yous complaining when you got that 'lucky' goal against city

Agree4 Disagree3

One game mate one game

Agree3 Disagree3

So your saying cabaye tiote coloccini Ba are 'mediocre'? Lmfao

Agree3 Disagree2

So what this SMB is saying is we have been lucky in 23 out of our 24 games?

Agree0 Disagree3

Try asking another fan of any other team to choose a side made up of Newcastle and Sunderland players and I would guess only two of them if any would be wearing a candy stripers outfit. Ba, Cisse, Tiote, Cabaye, STaylor, Colo, Kurl, all lightyears better than their counter parts, not to mention jonas, Santon, benny.... the only players you have that i would consider are Sessegnon and larson.

Agree2 Disagree3

These SMBs just make themselves look stupid, you can't be in a lucky position in the league after 24 games.....there team had an offside goal against city, huth shouldnt have been sent off, got an own goal against norwich, lucky liverpool hit he woodwork so many times in their game....every team has moments of luck during the season...and why do the act as if tim krul saving shots is luck? surely its down to him being a good keeper

Agree5 Disagree3

Is that mackem above on drugs? Cabye, Tiote, Ba, Colo, Ben Arfa are all average players are they? They would walk straight into your team mate.

Agree1 Disagree1

Whats ben arfa done this season nothing!, Tiote and cabaye are dirty players, Colo, Krul and Ba are the players who I would agree are good players for you, before some of you clowns say anything I'm not the same mackem as above

Agree4 Disagree2

To settle the argument not one of your players would get in the Toon first 11 FACT. How can a member of the great unwashed call anyone dirty when Cattermong and bardsley play for you? Adding to that Tiote and Cabeye can play as well as being physical.

Agree1 Disagree1

Cabaye physical? didnt he cry off on a stretcher first tackle ha ha. sess would walk into your team as would bardo instead of simpson larson instead of which ever muppet plays on right mcclean up and coming fantastic talent jonas losing pace and on his way out there is a few just off the top of my head and before you slate me i have checked comments by sgb on your players and they not happy with there performances so far. dont shoot the messenger

Agree2 Disagree1

Well said, bardo, richardson -left back, larsson, sess, mcclean and possibly campbell would walk into your team, funny saying that none of our players would when you know they would! very bitter biased geordie there!!

Agree2 Disagree1

Matching both teams up i came to this conclusion! Krul is a better keeper than mignolet or gordon easy then out of your defence i would say your best defender is oshea or brown who i would only put alongside s.taylor and not in front of colo then to midfield, cabaye and tiote are both better than your 2 cm and on the wings i went with r.taylor and jonas who i would put both maybe on par with mclean and larrsson but if i was to put ben arfa then i would go with ben arfa over larrsson then up front we have BA, cisse, shola, and best and i would say campbell is better than best or shola even if differing styles of play and cisse we aint seen alot of yet so not gonna try to compare him but BA is head and shoulders above any of your strikers! you lot prob wont agree but facts show he is so cant really argue! so overall the toon look the best bet and at the moment your playing well but that will come to an end this week and you will level off cos face it your batting above your weight! as are we but we been doing it most of the season and not just in "MON season"

Agree1 Disagree1

Richardson ahead of Santon now who is being biased. mcclean wouldn't get in over Jonas, Campbell never. You are spouting off about Mcclean who has had 3/4 good games. Jonas has been doing week in week out for the last 2 season. So Like I said maybe only Sess and that is a maybe as he would be up against Cisse and ben Arfa. Nt biased just factual.

Agree1 Disagree1

I'm a Newcastle fan but even I would choose McClean over Jonas based on the fact McClean plays like a winger and Jonas plays like a LWB he's way too defensive.

Agree1 Disagree0

Cant knock the work rate put in by jonas but you cant compare him to mcclean as jonas final ball is s**te as for mcclean his crosses are quiet good been nothing but impressed with the kid. as for richardson against santon another one you cant compare as richardson is no full back but hopefully with bridge dropping in there it will feel like we have made a new signing with richardson in midfield. and as for campbell the lad has just come back from a serious injury the same as what happened to ba earlier in his career and hopefull frazer can take what ba has done this season and continue with his form which will set up a good game next month

Agree1 Disagree0

B****cks!! jonas been playing last 2 year but done nowt special lost pace getting bigger ben arfa nowhere near larsson r taylor couldnt tie larssons boots canny free kicks now and again but taking people on and delivering crosses he cant do

Agree1 Disagree1

what do you all think the 4th march score will be? i think 3- 1 toon. leave comments. DP

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Keep thinking that hope your players think that too. we are not the same team of the past. geordie boy not in charge any more .we are playing with confidence and a manager who has a bit tactical knowledge. it will be closer than you think looking forward to it

Agree1 Disagree2

1-3 or 2-3 to Sunderland I think, tight game

Agree5 Disagree4

3-0 to the Toon.

Agree3 Disagree4

Lads, I wonder what their excuse will be this time round... Maybe 'the ref was shocking' or 'martin O'neil made a rare tactical error but he'll make it right for next season!'

Agree3 Disagree4

Sunderland fan and i think it will be a tight game as both midfields playing well so i will go for 1-0 either way or 1-1 draw

Agree8 Disagree0

MONs derby record is poor. He doesn't seem to be able to prepare his teams for the occasion and there's not many bigger than the Tyne/Wear. So you SMBs should just prepare yourselfs for a stuffing coz when the two dembas get hold of you, you's have no chance HTL!!

Agree2 Disagree3

The only tactical knowledge mon knows is counter attack and on top of that is you lose sess wat first team player have you got to fill in you game is based around sess and this has been clear when sess has a bad game so do the full other 10 players on the pitch and you want to think on you had no money to spend the transfer window gone so that would lead every one to think that you will have none in the next unless you sell one your key players the fact is that we are the better run club and with a better transfer policy and you only need to look and owa deals to see that santon ba cabaye tiote cisse marveaux abeid and obertan all for around 25 million so that 10 million profit alone from the AC deal and top of wat we got from the owa new sponsor mean cisse hardly cost us a penny for a player of his standed which would leave us running in the black the fact is newcastle are a bigger club and always will be an you just need to look at the fan base we have one the biggest fans base in the prem league we where still getting more ppl through the doors when we where in the champship than yous where we where in prem so dont make me laff and if ya looking for anyone to blame for the problems you have had blame the board a not steve bruce they where the ones that brought him to the club not us the newcastle fans and you where happy enough to have have him there to start with so just gose to show you mackems that come on this page know f*** all
marknufc

Agree5 Disagree1

So what you're saying is, Man U, Man City, Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and you lot have all failed to beat us by more than one goal this season if at all BUT the mighty Newcastle will comortably beat us by 3. I think you're going to be shocked at how close it will be....

considering his tactics are defensive his record looks a lot better than pardews and lets hope he can get the same score in his first n/east derby as the old firm one a 6 - 2 win

Agree3 Disagree2

Really!!! only a mackem could brag about how little they were beat by

Agree3 Disagree3

Haha and you forgot to say held to a draw by a champship boro at home mug lips

Agree4 Disagree3

And anyway it not just the manage that makes a club its the player the fans and wat yous going to do when oneil spits his tummy out like he did at villa when ya have to sell your ya best players mind ya be even lucky to get 10 million for sess and hes your best player and yous seem to be worried about problems we dont even have

Agree1 Disagree2

Yawn! very long winded boring statement that was mark nufc. think you will find nufc NOT in black as the club owes ashley. whereas safc are in black as short bought players against his own wealth and not the clubs fact we will have plenty to spend in summer without selling best players although a few fringe players will leave. cant blame bruce? 7 wins from 32 starting 2 games without a striker on pitch but 3 on bench says it all so who is the one who knows f*** all? think you will find its mark nufc

Agree1 Disagree4

Silly deluded SMB's, they didnt spend much in the summer considering they sold bent last jan and henderson in summer, also gyan left on loan, only players brought in were defenders really and a couple midfielders...hardly a big signing

Agree2 Disagree2

Wasn't bragging.Simply stating that there is no reason that you should think you can do what none else has this season

Agree1 Disagree1

Why can't they face the fact we're better than them? Hahahha smb!

Agree1 Disagree1

At least we still in the cup SGBS enough said!

Agree2 Disagree0

Who cares, you wont win it smb

Agree2 Disagree2

You are only in the cup till Wed's night. SMB.

Agree1 Disagree2

So you geordies will be eating your words tomorrow night when we beat boro! part 1 of humble pie, part 2 will be on march 4th when the TOP DOGS beat the dirty barcodes at the SPORTS DIRECT ARENA!! SGBS FTM!!

Agree2 Disagree1

Humble pie, I think you might choke on yours on both occasions. Your unwashed arrogance is frighting. SMB.

Agree0 Disagree1

How in any way dose you beating the boro effect us in one little way just goes to show ya better than a champship team and thats it

Agree1 Disagree2

Im gonna be level headed and say a toon win but not by a big margin! yes SAFC have some cracking form lately and we also have some cracking form so on that basis it could be a real corker of game but i think the toon midfeild will be just too strong for SAFC and think the quality of the fron 2 will be the main threat but can also see sees causing a few problems and campbell if he stays fit but with brown missing i think they will struggle with high balls and also expect obertan to be back in the team at some point and his pace will cause the same issues for them that sess will for us but overall im going for either a 2-2 draw to sit on the fence or a close 2-1 to the toon!....spenny mag

Agree1 Disagree1

Does that mean brighton are better than you lot then? should think about saying things before you actually say them foolish geordie, if we beat boro 2nite then that shows we can beat a championship side which you couldn't and also that we are in the 5th round

Agree0 Disagree0

You still got beat off Brighton also. so what is your point?? SMB.

Agree0 Disagree0

To spenny mag i hope obertan does play he may be fast but thats it very little end product

Agree0 Disagree1

Midfield too strong for us. not under oniell i dont think. we are like a different team now

Agree0 Disagree1

sky pundit alan mcinnaly ( ex villa player ) said yesterday during the game that shay given did'nt have much to do ...well what he did have to do he done well pick the ball out of the back of the net twice pmsl ... was'nt that tackle on ryan taylor ott? if that had of been one of our fullbacks it would of been a pen and a red card young redknapp thought it was ott...anyway gets down off me soapbox...geordie tom

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Its hard to say, he tried to block the ball which was in the air...difficult cal for the ref, the fact ba scored instantly meant he didn't have to could back out of making a decision. I'd rather see players on than off the pitch, give warnock benefit of the doubt i think.

ToonFan

Agree0 Disagree2

Yep i agree would rather have 11 v11 then no 1 can moan we got lucky...geordie tom

Agree0 Disagree0

Make your mind up geordie tom do you want him sent off or not typical sgb go with flo no mind of his own

Agree3 Disagree1

I did'nt say wanted him sent off ...read what i put on quote " if it had of been one of our fullbacks " ...but i forgot you smb have tunnel vision...typical mackem comes on leaves a post ( without putting his name on ) another keyboard warrior...geordie tom

Agree1 Disagree0

06 Feb 2012 08:35:31
why is it so difficult for smb's to understand that a striker is there to score goals and a keeper to stop them goin in? Maybe it is because their strikers are bendtner and wickham who cant score,? just a thought

ToonFan

Believable3 Unbelievable3

What you sgb dont understand is that although they were two good finishes they wont get that much time and space to score against decent teams villa defense non existant yesterday

Agree4 Disagree3

Can you lot not face the fact that we are a good team? It's almost as if your all getting jealous

Agree3 Disagree2

Villa have a decent defence, dunn is a consistent prem cb for years, and my point isn't anything to do with that game, its the fatc sudnerland fans comment on we have a striker who scores and a keeper who saves and says its luck, man utd had van der sar and ronaldo, arsenal have schezny and van persie, chelsea have cech and drogba, the fact is all teams who do well have a good solid keeper and a striker who out scores his team mates...this post is nothing against a sudnerland team who are very much on the up recently and look like it will continue with the derby being close...it is just explaining to the select few sunderland fans who seem to think any gk save is luck and having a goal scoring striker is luck.

ToonFan

Agree0 Disagree0

No dunne is a pentioner like our brown and o'shea are as you geordies are always spouting on about, funny that when its a different players defender over 30 he is a good defender, Geordie Hypocrites!!

Agree1 Disagree0

Villa defense 8th worst in prem cisse had freedomof the city for his goal yesterday wont get that much room again

Agree0 Disagree1

Same old boring Mackem crack. Everyone is Lucky the same as you scum against City and Stoke just to name 2. SMB.

Agree3 Disagree1

Top finish. Maybe your striker if that what you call could learn how to finish like that. Demba Demba just getting warm. SMB.

Agree2 Disagree1

Some may talk about brown and o'shea but i have never said that and i think thety y do a very good job...hence your defensive record. if a defender has never relied on pace they get better as they get older as their positional play improves, defenders who need pace like Rio Ferdinand, get exposed as they get older as they have never had to worry about positioning as much

Agree1 Disagree0

Our striker can finish! did you not see campbells against norwich pure class

Agree1 Disagree0

Campbell? What about the rest.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah because Ameobi is known for his finishing prowess.

Agree0 Disagree0

He does a good job against the SMS thow

Agree0 Disagree1

Against Mackems he definitely is.

Agree1 Disagree1

I seem to be getting the same vibe on here as i do when i pop over to the dark side and im just wondering if someone can tell me "when did SAFC become world beaters?" its what they seem to be saying alot! they saying they would be top of the league if the season started when MON took over but it didnt and if he had been there from beginning of the season then how do they know how he would have done?

Was that Olivier Bernard translating for Cisse on MotD?

Believable2 Unbelievable0

No demba ba you numb nuts

Agree0 Disagree4

Second interveiw was bernard

Agree3 Disagree0

Bernard has been assigned to help cisse settle in.

Agree1 Disagree0

No numb nuts it was bernard! now who is the numb nuts? jumping on peoples questions when you dont actually know yourself! pathetic! paper reading footy fan who doesnt watch but comments! if your a geordie then you need to man up! could have been a mackem who asked that question and even if he was wrong i wouldnt shoot him like you did to the guy asking a reasonable question! grow up numb nuts....
