Cabaye to be assessed on monday. should be ok for the man city game. marveux apparently could be out for 3-4 weeks

How do you know about Cabaye..when he hasn't even had a medical yet....l read he is to have a scan on tuesday with the French squad doctors

I think we've got lucky with the international break, with any luck he won't play for france, and will be fresh, hopefully have tiote back for man city game too, as Gosling and Gurthie did well, but struggled in part.

Danny Guthrie is like a new signing for me he was man of the match today this just shows Pardew's man management skills getting the best out of a player who was most likely not going to be offered a new contract at the start of the season.

I think that gabby agbonlahor or grant holt would make good additions to our squad, gabby has loads of pace whereas holt is much like best, but he scores goals...

Best will score goals at the minute he's being very un-selfish in the way he is working hard for the team, holding it up and being a great partner for Ba.

It will be interesting to see who we go for in January; if the team keeps playing as it is and has an outside chance of getting into Europe (I'm a realist and supported this club to long). But successful teams attract successful players. Two maybe three at the most to slot into the first team.
