makems saying sessanong(if thats spelt right) worth 20 million + as he wants away and lufc are intrested if thats the case ba must be touching 30 million in my eyes cos ba,s twice the player edd what you think? {Ed001's Note - except that Ba has a degenerative knee condition that makes it likely he will not be able to play regularly for more than a few more years and will end up having to be managed like Ledley King.}

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Sessanongs been so impressive this season. He was the only decent player when we played them, and hes got better since. NUFC til i die but im not going to lie, he is a class act. Plus he is a completely different player to demba

Agree4 Disagree0

Absolute twoddle....LUFC!!!!!
very much doubt he would want to join a championship club...

Agree0 Disagree1

I wrote the original post about sess and ba and i agree he is there best player my point being do you think he,s worth 20 million..as i dont.

Agree0 Disagree0

My mistake was meant to say lfc...

Agree0 Disagree0

And nobody thought carroll was worth 35m or hendo 20m and sess is 10 times better than them both so 20m is realistic if not more for him

Agree1 Disagree0

Sess looks like a canny player but not top drawer! he can play a bit and i think he will score goals but id say hes more in the 10 million bracket tbh! still think henderson ans carrol were both over priced but thats what you pay for english potential so fees were based on this! cant say sess is better than either of them tho cos completely different type of players and he aint scored as many as carroll or controlled games as henderson has! could end up a t a big club but hes only a good player at present and needs to improve to be classed as a top top player!....spenny mag

Agree0 Disagree0

Carroll not worth 35 million at all never said he was but hes a better player than sess is and will be come back when sess has scored as many times in an english league..i admit carrol not looking good at moment but liverpool dont play to is strengths..

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry i may be wrong spenny mag but when was the last time henderson controlled a game he was average for us and hasnt improved much at liverpool sess hasnt scored many cos he midfielder being played up front but goes past people for fun mad max

Agree0 Disagree0

Carroll striker sess midfielder no comparison

Now that Bent is going to Liverpool, is a Carroll return to Newcastle on the cards?

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Wish this would stop coming up

Agree3 Disagree0

AC was successful in a team which often played long ball, playing to his strengths. would he be as successful in the current team? IMO he won't. our wingers don't seem the type that would give him the ammunition he needs.

Agree1 Disagree0

PS. would liverpool really loan him to a club which could conceivably nick 6th spot off them? again, I think not.

HBA surely to get a start against Blackburn. Where to play him though?
Up top, behind the striker or in the middle?
No doubt AP will stick loyally with 442

I tell you what geordie's your arrogance is pathetic, sure you played well lastnight I'll give you that but thinking your dead certs for europe or the champs league after one good win is idiotic, can any of you act level headed and tell me you won't struggle without Ba and Tiote realistically? also do you really expect ashley to fork out 10m on any player or even a striker when pardew has said no striker is coming in?. come on man and you wonder why we call you lot deluded, we 10th and I'm happy with that, our aim is to finish above you lot and be as high as we can, not dreaming of europe this season, 7th or 8th would do nicely for us

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Good job you're not dreaming of Europe like...because you're never going to have that dream come true. You may be in 10th...but lose one and some of the other teams below you win one...you're back down the bottom of the table. Wouldn't get too cocky yet. O'Neill's luck will run out soon

Agree1 Disagree1

Jog on you SMB.
yous were all talking about europe at the start of the season.
yous park the bus against man city and sneak a goal which was off side, then you beat a poor wigan side and yous are back on the europe here we come talk.your club is a joke.
p.s you will never be bigger than the toon.FACT

Agree2 Disagree1

The last 3 years begs to differ SGB, I asked for level headed geordies not arrogant prats, I wasn't talking of europe I just wanted us to finish in the top 10, 7th or 8th was my aim and build on it, a poor wigan side? didn't they draw with liverpool and chelsea at home and beat west brom away. can you remind me how many chelsea, liverpool and west brom put past you? 3 was that.beating wigan 0-1 away from home is a good result with a hint of luck, beating them 1-4 away from home after their form lately shows we no pushovers anymore, against man city we defended brilliant, worked hard and got some luck at the end, wasn't our fault the linesman wasn't in line, 3 points against a top city side. man utd were terrible last night. but back to my point are there any level headed newcastle fans who would answer my questions without arrogance?

Agree0 Disagree1

Ryan Taylor over the wall.
And not to mention..............5-1

Agree1 Disagree1

Not seen one post by a toon fan saying Europe here we come or top four... It's u SMB who say it that often coz it scares you... Keep saying it and it will happen

Agree2 Disagree1

I'd be stupid if I didn't say we can finish in the Europe spots. Who else will take them? Villa? Everton? Stoke? There's no reason Newcastle cant grab one. The upside of this is if we aim for Europe and miss, we're still midtable, whereas if you aim for midtable and miss youre relegation fodder.

Agree1 Disagree0

I'll give you a level headed response. Before the season everyone said we would struglle after selling Nolan, Barton etc... however after a few pieces of quality business we have overall performed above expectation. Cabaye and Tiote are being touted around as the best midfield partnership in the league and thats not by Newcastle fans, Ba has been amazing which no one can deny. So to summarise who knows how we will do we may again perform above expectation for all you know if the right people step up to be counted you can only come on here dishing crap after the results not before so come back in 5 weeks and dish us grief if we struggled without them or you may sit there eating your words come 5 weeks time. Always remember we Mags are looking upwards and onwards whilst your looking at are arses from below SMB

Agree1 Disagree1

3 YEARS its all changing now isnt it ahahha SMB 1 good win ?, we've beaten man utd, scumberland, everton, wolves, wigan, blackburn, stoke,Bolton, drew with arsenal and spurs, so not 1 win, we are bbeating teams and getting points, so europe is a possibility! SMB are thick as out like

Agree1 Disagree1

Nufc bid £10.45mil for bryan ruiz, £10mil for papiss cisse, and £10mil for kevin gameiro, get the facts b4 u say something thicko SMB

Agree1 Disagree1

My hubby was on there site as he,s a makem lol anyway they where talking about getting bent back.ha now thats deluded has he wanted away no matter what by the way i,m black and white through and through and the banters brill in our house....

Agree0 Disagree2

We're deluded wanting Bent back. I heard one of your lot on You're on Sky Sports after the match saying that you played looked like Barcelona against United. Thats delusion

Agree2 Disagree0

So are you best friends will agent ashley? so who said you put in bids for those players? is that what pardew and ashley said, like you maiga deal collapsed or the other deal aswell, come on your getting told rubbish and believing it. God you geordies are thick, I was meaning lately u SGB, but wait and see how you do without Ba

Agree1 Disagree1

Every club has those idiots that know nothing about football unfortunately our deluded fans always seem to be the ones that get on tv.

Agree2 Disagree0

Would just like to point out to the mackem who saying he not thinking of europe but is of 7th in the league that over the last 5 to 7 years 7th has got the team finishing in that position into europe! so you are thinking of europe and the way it stands ( and im not sure youve seen the table) we are in a better position to finish in 7th than you lot! its not lies or made up but fact thats there to see!....spenny mag

Agree0 Disagree0

We have hardly spent any money the last 4 years and still have a better team then the mackems.

Well played newcastle, that was more like the 90's newcastle. Im a leeds fan but love seeing man u get thrashed. What a freebie demba ba is, best freebie we got was billy paynter! Pardew is the man and hes got u playing like west ham before the tevez saga, hope u get in europa, gl.

its not a rumour but i need to settle an argument with my mate. if am wrong then so be it but i dont think i am. question is who brought back the reserves after keegan got rid of them? am saying dalglish because that and sorting out the youth policy were pretty much all he did for the club and my mate says bobby robson. and as much as i want to be right i will humbly apologise to a certain mr hallimond if am wrong. as many replies as possible and some hard facts to back it up cos he is a stubborn b.....d. thanks

Believable0 Unbelievable0

It was Dalglish mostly bought a load of young scottish players

Agree0 Disagree0

I was under the impression it was bobby who brought it back proper, although dalglish did bring a few youngsters in.

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha, bet that helped ;) I think Bobby Robson, but also have a friend who thinks Daglish {Ed001's Note - Dalglish attempted to, he just didn't have the time to complete it.}

We should be getting busy and getting some new face's in? We will be in trouble when ba goes off for a month so we really need a striker. There are loads out there that can do a wicked job for us so why just hold out?

did anyone else think that Raylor and Simpson down the right hand side was a vast improvement on Obertan?

Believable9 Unbelievable0

I have been saying this for weeks on here. Santon is class, however Raylor is lacking. we need to sign another winger or wait for Marveux to come back and play jonas on the right and the aforementioned on the left

Any possibility of a loan to cover the loss of Ba up front? Plenty of strong youth players who struggle to get on the pitch at other clubs. Not exactly a rumour I know but is there any chance of this happening?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I heard Phill Jones is coming for 3 month loan. He wants to and to his Toon goal tally.
