Can or will Newcastle ever increase SJP to above 60K capacity?

Would never get permission off council {Ed001's Note - it would be possible if the infrastructure, roads, rail links etc, were improved. So it would be massively expensive.}
We were going to before ashley bought the club there were plans draw up to extend the ground and build a casino/hotel
I dont think we can build at the other side because it has something to do with the building behind I might be wrong though.
Can't do anything with the East Stand side because the properties behind there are all listed buildings apparently and can't have their vision blocked any further by additional height structure.
Yes they actually can. Newcastle were told before ashley bought club that they would be able to increase the capacity by extending the southeast and southwest corners, taking them to the same level as the Gallowgate.
Take out lower level of seats at leazes and gallowgate , easy 60 thousand plus !
The lad who mentioned about listed buildings is 100% right plus a certain mike ashley is not a favourite of newcastle council
You could not fill 60k plus you just sell 51k because of Ashley's season ticket deal.
