Surely Pardew should give the likes of Kadar and Tavernier a chance in central defence ahead of Perch?

Perch is useless at best and Simpson is not too good as a full back, heaven help us if we play Perch and Simpson

I have to agree, simpson is bad at RB but i wouldn't like to see him in central defence. Whereas Kadar is more of a natural entral defender and Kadars gotta learn his trade somewhere if he's goign to improve.

Simo did well against manu, but then we were pegged back and since injury ashley young has played poorly, my conern will be against liverpool, as Saurez will run a mocker of all of our back 4 himself.

Alex of Chelsea has handed in a transfer request so we should try to snap him up as STaylor will be out for a while and Williamson and Perch are Blue Square Prem quality...................... New Striker is needed and so is a winger as Obertan is complete dog s**t

Why would a plkayer of alex ability go to newcastle when he could have his pick of most champs league teams you sherbit

I was thinking this. We should try and get alex in on loan until end of season. he provides good CB & RB cover.

Cb Rb cover is exacully why he has handed in a request he's sick of playing second fiddle to David 'shuld of being sent off' Luiz

I reckon Alex will go to Arsenal (if not abroad), don't think he would want to go to Newcastle, plus I dont think Ashley would pay the fee/wages

Ok, We lost to Chelsea no biggy, but to be fair if the Ref had not bottled it at the start, it would have been a different game. The biggest miss for us was Jonas on the left, he protects Raylor and in his absence he struggled time and time again against the pace of Sturidge and Mata. If Colo had not made some timely tackles/blocks we could have been 3 down by half time. When Colo came off we conceded, but I do think that Perch played well considering. Another issue was Obertan on the right, I have been reserving my judgement against the player as I really think his pace is an asset, however in the game he was isolated and made the wrong decisions for the crosses. With a full squad I think we are able to utilise his pace as players like Tiote cover his defensive frailties, but in the match he looked poor. We created chances but I honestly think that we should have played Ben Arfa on the left wing and Guthrie on the right with Gosling slipping into MF next to Cabaye and either Shola or Best up front with Ba.. We created some chances and in the second half but for me without someone crossing quality balls into the box we were going to struggle. Krul is a different class at the moment and made save after save and Guthrie is an excellent temporary replacement for Tiote. The next game Jonas will be back and hopefully Tiote, which means Guthrie on HBA can play on the right and ping some balls into the box. I really hope that Colo and Taylor only have knocks and are ok for the next match. HTL
