Great result which puts us up to 3rd. We were solid at the back and jonas and simo put a great shift in. Nice to see guthrie can come in a do a job in Tiotes absence.
For me, if Ba keeps scoring the way he is he should get the number 9 shirt next season. Also, Best played well too, good target and won the peno.
Not really a good match for the likes of HBA and Marveaux, Stoke are pure filth and always have been. Wouldnt want to risk them to the likes of them.
Everton next who will be tough, but hopefully have Tiote will be back and maybe HBA can get a game and another stunner against them.
Liked our bench tonight too looking strong with good options.
Also, I am no ashley fan, but pardew has done a job and I was one of the fans who thought he was a puppet. I still think he has a few strings but he has truely won me over.

First big test? we played arsenal when they still had Nasri and co, we drew against tottenham and should have won, and we beat stoke at the Brit, where Liverpool lost, and chelsea and united could only manage draws! Adstatoon.
And we stuffed stoke 4-0 at home when it could of been 7-0. arsenal were sh*te the start of the season, lately they hitting top form though, tottenham should of beating you but mr krul again saved you, don't under estimate everton, you arrogant lot may think it's 3 points in the bag but they can mix it with the best on their day home or away. Man utd, Man City and Chelsea will be your 1st real tests of the season

Sorry I should of put it into easier words for you dumb geordies to understand your 1st real test against the best to see if you really are gonna be in those champs league places by the end of the season. doubtful, chelsea, tottenham, liverpool and arsenal will finish above you. but even though that will mean you finish 7th which is an improvement, but arrogance is what you geordies are made of and will be your downfall again. good result against stoke but your good run will come to an end soon

Just to point out I know a few deluded geordies who have said you will. just coz you haven't said it doesn't mean others haven't you clown. at the moment I'd say you are looking good for 7th, but a few bad results and the middle of the prem starts catching up alot, it can change easy. I was going to complain about the writers and guys reviewing the matches and how we receive no credit ever! but screw them, we played a perfect away match at one of the hardest pitches to get a result at. Defended strongly and scored on the counter.. perfect. absolutely perfect! Well done Lads, 3rd in the table!

Peter Crouch is a joke, for a big man he goes down like a little girl. No wonder he isnt in the england team, i'd be embarrassed to have him. yes our pen was softish, but fair play after Crouch's play acting.
I used to support Stoke years ago when players like Terry Conroy Mick Pejic Jimmy Greenough and Gordon Banks played and I was proud to support them.
But after last nights performance I will never feel anything of them again,Half there team are nothing but thugs a disgrace to the memory of once a fine club.Just the thought of paying to watch someone throw a ball into the penalty area the total thought to score from that.I am a season ticket holder at the toon and watched the game on sky last night,the linesman and ref were a disgrace and no one has said anything about the decisions that occured through out the game.Sorry Stoke but you are a disgrace.
