What do people think of trying Tiote at CB whne were in need like this?
Song does it for Arsenal, and it seems to work.
Just wondered what peoples thought would be?

Willo is not shocking. Had one of his best games against Norwich. He is a squad player and a good one at that. We should have bought a CB in January. That ain't his fault. Tiote at CB, not a chance. Square pegs, round holes comes to mind. HWTL.

How about mascherano at Barca?

Mascherano is a defensive midfielder not a cb!

Mascherano plays at centre back for barca when they're short though.

But mascherano is able to play CB very well which is maybe one of the reasons this topic is being discussed.
IMO tiote would not be great at CB, as great a player he is, he could time his tackles alot better than he does and after 18 months playing in the prem, i'd have hoped this part of his game would disappear. it's one of the things that's keeping him at this club, once (if) he starts losing this habit, is when the teams like utd will take a punt on him. although there are lesser clubs with money who could steal him from us.
