Pardew looks so relieved on MOTD. He asked us to judge him after the West Ham & Fulham games. Son, you got out of jail today. YOU HAVE STILL A LOT TO PROVE

I wish we would try for Callum Chambers of Southampton, he already looks good at 18

NUFC4L1FE

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I'd prefer it if we were to hire some youth coaches from Southampton, at least they could help fulfill the potential of some of our younsters.

Agree0 Disagree0

Our last 'Starlet' from Southampton didn't turn out too well!

Agree0 Disagree0

Watched them beat Liverpool on Liverpool TV a week or two back. They have some cracking youngsters particularly up front. They look a million miles away from our young 'stars'.
Another one of Ashley's ambitions - a top class youth and development team that was going to be brought in from around the world. Yet another lie for this guy.

Thought AP summed up game and Cabeye situation excellently. The Goufran Remy Cisse front 3 was fast and the interchanging of positions was the first bit of exciting football for 2 years.
Sissoko gave glimpses of his potential and was for me man of the match, though MY strolled it in defence.
One swallow doesn't make a summer but thank god we did see a bit of sunshine at SJP.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Geordie Al. Deluded mate. We did not consistently attack, we were on back foot for most of the game. It was only when Remmy & Cabaye came on we looked as though we had any quality. Last 10 mins was one way. Show how a
couple of quality players can change a team. We're YOU watching Joke Klnnear

Agree0 Disagree0

2nd post what game were you watching? 1st half we were terrible but still had more possession, 2nd half we were like a different team there's no way we were on the Backfoot the whole game

Agree0 Disagree0

Second post no way you watched that game. First half 2 poor and nervous teams. Second half we bossed it especially the last 20 when Strolla went off. We were more mobile and looked a threat every time we went forward.

Agree0 Disagree0

JTOON same game as you but I do not have your rose tinted glasses. We were only good for last 20 minutes. The rest was crap

Agree0 Disagree0

An old chap sits behind me at the match. His comment at half time about the team, "they spend the whole time running backwards"

Agree0 Disagree0

I am going to stop using the soccer special bus it clearly took me to a different game than Martin Jol and Geordie Al wer at.

Agree0 Disagree0

Geordie Al
At 18. 48 you described the game as "GOOD RESULT GOOD PERFORMANCE"
What happened by 22. 00 when you posted above comments.
Strange use of the word deluded when you can't even agree with yourself.

I am so dissapointed that we missed out on Aubameyang, He looks good but I think Newcastle may just try for him again sometime

NUFC4L1FE

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Will never happen he keeps performing like he has been the he will be worth double what they payed for him and there be no way under Ashley we would ever spend that much money so thing again mate

Paulo Di Canio
He is quite mad you know
He'll take you down though
Paulo Di Canio

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Haha, criticising his own player PUBLICLY! 3-1 to palace, that's got to hurt!

The Melt down has started on the Sunderland page. haha

And they were mocking us because we were not able to beat Man City with 10 men away from home.

I do not think we will have any derby games to play after this season, oh dear, oh dear lol.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The revolution has come to a grinding halt already. All those pre-season comments are biting them in the ass. How silly they must feel, we did try and warn them.

Agree0 Disagree0

Which comments? Nobody said we would win every game. Nobody said all our players would gel immediately. Nobody said we would finish in the top 6. Finally we didn't have a post which suggested having a whip round to buy some players lol. You win one game and your world beaters again. Fickle doesn't come into it.
Liono74

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha what revolution? That is just terrible by PDC criticising his only player in public de motivating I think

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes we are annoyed, our midfield killed us off, Super Steven Fletcher brought us back out of nothing, then John O'Sh!t ruined everything, we were on top as soon as we scored then he fu*ked us all over

Agree0 Disagree0

You never said what? Oh how the table have turned it. It was PDC this PDC that, look at all the world class players we have signed we are dark horses for sure. At least have some integrity on the banter page. Not as good as you lot thought.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why of why did he drop players like gardner away from home? he ain't got a clue.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yh, sunderland dark horses for relegation! why the hell did you loan out n'diaye?!

Agree0 Disagree0

Pardew says he wants one key signing before Monday, we need about 3 minimum, don't think we'll be enjoying this season much

Big Dave out

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Tick Tock Jokerr on the phone Told you Mike hold off we have a strong squad. One result 1st 70 minutes crap will not change anything so enjoy the fact we are above the Mackems and unless a couple of players arrive we will be floundering VERY soon

Agree0 Disagree0

1st 70mins crap? I wouldn't say we were fantastic but we were nowhere near crap. The performance was much improved. We constantly attacked. If only we had a couple of signings to lift the place.

Good result, Good performance.

Sunderland a goal down 8 minutes in LMAO!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

How can that be with all that talent they signed? The PDC revolution continues at pace. lol

Agree0 Disagree0

LOL 3-1 to a newly promoted team oh dear. They can't even get a point against Fulham despite dominating. The revolution has just turned into a circus!

Agree0 Disagree0

10men, osh*t got sent off and they got a pena, then a wonder goal, we were on top after we equalised but osh*t cost us again

Agree0 Disagree0

You don't need to give excuses mate, we have been unlucky in all three games, we have had one bad half, the first versus palace and have been unlucky. Dicanio will sort it out. Keep the faith.

We looked much better and more determined when remy came on. See what a new signing does? Cabaye was terrible, not sure if it was because he was in a different mindset because of the arsenal bid or the boos though.

Get in James McCarthy, gomis and thauvin then i'll be happy. Then I will be happy for cabaye to go.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Cabaye terrible? what game were you watching?

Agree0 Disagree0

Cabaye was good when he came on.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cabaye along with Remy and gouffran changed the game.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cabaye good? I can remember him making a few awful tackles, no suprise there. Other than that he was bog standard, not world class and nowhere near good enough from him. Honestly, people think he's class. The last good game he had was against man u a year and a half ago.

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought we were a better team when Cabaye came on. Very disappointed to hear the boos for one of our own players. We were excellent second half. Sissoko mom. Anita good again too.

Agree0 Disagree0

His first touch was a foul and he got yellow carded plus he gave the ball away quite a few times

Agree0 Disagree0

Cabaye was half decent, tried to get fans back on side by running around after the ball and being pulled out of position. given another 10 minutes he might have got himself another yellow card.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Aug 2013 17:00:09
Ok, first half was terrible, the lack of movement on and off the ball was shocking. The players weren't exactly busting a gut to defend and attack were they? we just seemed to be hoofing it into the strikers and fulham were just clearing it. Debuchy actually had a decent game so did m'biwa (who also looked very good) coloccini and santon, although fulham didn't really offer anything.

Second half early on it looked the same, but until about 55mins in, the players actually seemed a bit more motivated and when cabaye and gouffran came on we looked even more sharper, we were getting the crowd off their feet. Then when Remy came on, we looked like a different team. Sissoko suddenly had the drive to get back and forth. Ben Arfa was getting into better positions and his delivery was better. Cabaye I think was rubbish, yellow carded, poor passing. Remy looks very good and I think he's what we've been missing. Just by Remy coming on to the pitch everyone including the fans got a lift, the players were more motivated. Cisse was average, but again he was making wrong decisions. Ben Arfa's goal was terrific, and you couldn't say we didn't deserve the goal. In fact we probably deserved to win about 2 or 3-0 judging by our second half performance and if it wasn't for stockdale.

So overall a solid and deserved win and hopefully we go into the next game with a performance like today's second half one.

Looking forward to seeing the partnership of Loic Remy and Cisse or gouffran!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The game badly needed tempo! The subs helped the pace of the game and the movement became much better. still not convinced Pardew really knows what he is doing.

Agree0 Disagree0

Great performance.

The team was all over Fulham.

Not a great game for Ameobi was doing his impression of a statue, marveaux not great.

But the rest of the team were brilliant, every one of them.

I think we should be playing our games now with the 11 that finished that match.

Gouffran, Ben Arfa, Cisse, Remy & Sissoko are beasts playing together.

Mbiwa & Colo were classy, the full backs were up and down the pitch like race horses.

I cannot say I was impressed by what I see from Cabaye when he came on, dirty challenges, robotic football that isn't going anywhere. I could take him or leave him.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

31 Aug 2013 15:51:26
Sissoko has been menacing in midfield against Fulham, his work rate and commitment are unreal, total midfield general.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

What match you watching Sissoko will do well in the Championship
Cisse pathetic AGAIN midfield hopeless
no support for the strikers

Agree0 Disagree0

''What match you watching Sissoko will do well in the Championship
Cisse pathetic AGAIN midfield hopeless
no support for the strikers''

Jealous mackem by any chance?

Agree0 Disagree0

78 minutes of Tosh but Better 2nd half & now gives Joker the reason not to sign anyone

Fulham were awful 10 men behind the ball BUT a kit harder games to play
fingers crossed because that is what is needed

Agree0 Disagree0

1st half performance was terrible, sissoko and HBA were the only ones who looked motivated. 2nd half performance, we would of won 2 or 3-0 if it wasn't for stockdale.

But Remy looks very good. Cabaye was poor, judging from that 2nd half performance do we really need him? haha

Agree0 Disagree0

To be fair, first half everyone was useless. but sissoko was possibly just about our best player and in the second half easily our best player. that includes ben arfa. yes great goal but can't help but feel sorry for the lad. you can see he feels he has to do everything when things aren't working. but second half we showed signs. if you say we ended the game with something like our strongest 11 then I think you can see what could be. a long way off and still need additions but not far off. thought goufran showed he has ability. might not be a started but good from the bench. cisse was still terrible. remy came on it was only then he shwoed signs of being any good at all. maybe that just shows that he needs the competition. colo still looked pretty sound to.

niktoon

Agree0 Disagree0

Could have easily been 4 or 5. I thought mid played well. once AP released them from playing so deep. sissoko and anita worked well together. impressed with HBA and back 5. Unfair to call cisse, once he got proper service he looked different player. Fulham must be one of most aannoying awkward teams to play against.

Agree0 Disagree0

That run down the wing by sissoko at he end took me back to when he ruined Ashley Cole. He had a great game.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sissoko had a great game terrific engine. It was a poor first half but we looked much better second. Especially when Strolla went of. We were much more mobile. Deserved the win. Still need a couple of signing to bolster the squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

We were poor first half because HBA slowed up the game hogged the ball while everyone else made runs. Second half he passed to his team mates and we dominated. Yes it was a great goal but Fulham were run ragged by that time and HBA will get the space to shoot unlike his pathetic attempts first half.
thought we had lots of plusses today though cannot include Shola.

James McCarthy being lined up as a replacement for Cabaye.
- Daily Mail and Telegraph.

Is this a joke, That's like replacing Messi with Darren Bent, not that great, and was relegated with Wigan.

However, it does fit the bill, as he is only 22.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Cabaye is on the same level as Messi? lol hahàaaaa.

Agree0 Disagree0

James McCarthy is a determined box to box midfielder, he'd be a very good replacement for cabaye.

He never said he was

Why are Newcastle so reluctant to spend? didn't they just get £60m from a TV deal?

From a business view, if Ashley spent big, he could get us champions league, and sell the club for more than he wants now.

I don't understand Newcastle at the moment :/

Believable0 Unbelievable0

31 Aug 2013 13:51:15
predictions for fulham game? I'm going 1-0 to newcastle, Loic Remy coming on as a super sub to score the winner! Hopefully he should provide a lift to the lads and hopefully pardew will give the right TACTICS, not just hoofball to the isolated striker. we want to see some good decent passing moves. No hoofball only when necessary

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I am expecting a 3-0 win today.

Cisse has support from Ameobi and I think we should hit them for 1-0 before the hour mark.

When Cabaye and Remy come on I think we could see some showboating and a few goals.

BVB have just said Aubameyang had more lucrative offers. I wonder if it was us?

Why is everyone starting to think that signing anyone will now do! We should still be smart with who we buy unlike this persons who think signing Bently will be the answer!

Really the guy could barley hack it over here the last time. he's a championship player AT BEST!

Panic buying is not the answer! This will just screw us up more. Give your head a shake man!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Well you can't really call any signings at the end of a window "not a panic buy" if you haven't bought anyone earlier on. We should of signed gomis, remy etc way back in june july.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Aug 2013 10:43:47
whys Newcastle settling to look like a mid table side, why not strengthening with a bigger and stronger squad then last year to push for Europe wouldn't Ashley make more money in the long run that way?
would love to see faces like gourcoff and gomis but the only way we by is replace

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Exactly mate, why? Because ashley doesn't care about the club, but if we keep going to home matches etc. he just won't care

Question for MIKE ASHLEY.

If you bought Tottenham (which was your first choice) Would you be doing the same as what you are now but with Tottenham? Or would you be splashing the cash like Levy?
