I'm back,

i couldn't resist to keep my frustration held in after reading some absolutely stupid speculation.

There's been a lot of talk about Yanga-M'Biwa being sold as he is "not good enough" or has "failed to adapt" *Takes deep breath* in what way is M'Biwa not good enough? He is arguable our best centre back, and probably our most promising player who has lots of potential. We are talking about a player who captained Montpellier to the title at the age of 22 for christ sake! And the majority of his time at Newcastle, he's been played out of position! And when he did have a good partnership with Williamson and kept clean sheets against Spurs and Chelsea, he was unfairly dropped as our so called captain Coloccini was back from injury. I will be so annoyed if we sell M'Biwa, he just needs a run of games and he'll be settled. This lad was being touted by the likes of A. C Milan.

Or is it just that our coaching staff cannot coach modern types of players like M'Biwa, like Ben Arfa, like Marveaux, like Cisse?

So there have been rumours that we are close to agreeing a fee with Remy Cabella, would be a fantastic signing, however I will only believe it when I see it. And also rumours that we have apparently agreed a fee with Tottenham for Andros Townsend, but I think this is highly unlikely. Clement Grenier is also wanted by Roma, wouldn't be surprised if he picks Roma over us really.

Mike Ashley has created a huge sea of negativity at Newcastle, which is just sad to see really. I go on other rumour sites such as Sunderland's, and I know they're only aiming at Billy Jones calibre players (Banter ;) but at least they've still got something to speculate and dream about, we haven't.

That is the sad thing about Newcastle United, we are not a football club anymore, we are a business, and the once known passion of the geordie nation is slowly dying away.

Agreed. I've raised these points for ages but it will never change wile Pards is Manager. Even with Ashley as owner a proper coach would get these players playing, imagine what Martinez could do with Marveaux, Ben Arfa, MbWia, Cisse, I dare say he could even get Obertan playing. This site is dead because people (myself included) are full of apathy at the situation and knowing that until Pards goes at the least and is replaced by a good modern coach that nothing will change. For a good businessman I cannot believe that Ashly can't see that Pards is actually costing him money because Cabaye apart none of the players Ashley has bought for him have increased in value so if we do sell the above, plus others and replace them with Cabella/Grenier/Townsend/Shelvey the club will have lost money with little or no improvement. As for not buying Remy for £8m last summer that s decision, I appreciate he had the rape allegation ongoing nt away as easily as it did in the end did the club even consult a lawyer? Actually they probably just went to the Citizens Adice Bureau instead to save money!
I'm f'king sick of the whole situation. That said if we sign Cabella, Grenier, Perez, Lacazette, Townsend, Collback a. n. other striker, hang onto HBA/Sissoko/Tiote and Debuchy I amppy enough to eat humble pie instead of mince and onion for a change

Do you 2 actually expect justification for what is going on at our beloved club because there is none
We are like mushrooms kept in the dark & brought out when it rains
Names Names & Names same as before
Answer this who wants to play for a second rate club with no ambition except finishing mid table in the premiership?
Unless Ashley has changed his tune and wants to produce a decent football team and we all know the answer to that.

Agree0 Disagree0

Remember when the strategy was to develop young players, sell some on for big money, re-invest in more of the same, all the while making slow but definite progress without going bust? How it all seemed to make sense? No more Owens or Vidukas? Now there's not even a whisper of 'Progress'. Can anybody now see us ever signing the class of player who could help us to leapfrog Southampton, Man U, Everton? Or even Stoke? What a sickening shame. Wouldn't it be nice to have honest management with an old-fashioned love of the club, instead of these lying, useless shysters?

Agree0 Disagree0

We don't develop young players we:

1 buy them
2 put them in development squad
3 loan them out
4 sell them
put perez into first team squad play him test him if he is good enough it will shine through, Bigi was playing well we put him in development squad disappears
ps I had a great holiday

Agree0 Disagree0

Glad to hear you had good holiday des.

Agree0 Disagree0

Des we have good pkayers Biggy & Good are just 2 & where are they nowhere

Agree0 Disagree0

Also Abeid Armstrong Sakho (spelling) these shoul all be in the squad and getting time on the pitch. look at England in the top tournament Sterling sturridge flanigan shaw Oxlaid-Ch they would all still be in our non-development squad

There will be a boatload of names bandied around
But I think what we all have to realise is Ashley's M once again is mid-table
Transfer fees and wages ensure Newcastle are a midtable team or worse than that as long as Ashley remains the owner of this once great club
Sorry for repeating that ad I think the majority of people on here know that anyway unlike most we live in hope rather than any expectations
And the sad part about this is that the transfer window is just opening and there are lots of names but non-of any quality will be arriving at this club
