Bubble repair kits now on sale for all Newcastle supporters from the Stadium of Light.

Believable7 Unbelievable0

At the very least there was a bubble to burst, that much cant be said for you. How many points are you off the drop? Good luck vs City on Sunday, I am sure you'll get something from that game... ;) New manager same old crap.

Agree2 Disagree2

Touched a raw nerve there son

Agree5 Disagree1

No, just reminding you of your place.... forever in Newcastle shadow. Have a nice weekend ;)

Agree1 Disagree5

Mackem, bothered about newcastle, surely not!?!?!

Agree2 Disagree4

Mackem happy scumc9st1e got brought back down to earth against a side who cudn't seem to win at home, what happens when Ba goes in mid jan, who scores then?SGBS

Agree6 Disagree0

Poor delude Mackem with a small club mentality, a manager that all other managers hate, a team that is full of expensive pensioners......I know where I would want to be in the league at New Year 10 points from safety....not 22...enjoy your relegation battle with the other 35000 idiots who occasionally turn up at your library!

Agree2 Disagree4

The average gates under o'neill have been 40,000 plus so 35,000 is no where near the mark, biting abit there my clueless geordie friend, keep going it's funny as! haha SGB

Agree6 Disagree2

False dawn you fool

Agree1 Disagree0

Yes a decent start for you. just like we had last year then it went tits up for a bit like it is for you now. we have had our bad spell early and are now on the up. yes we will lose against city but will bounce back with revenge over wigan. i am sure we will improve the squad in jan while you lose two influential players. i think hard times ahead in near future while our club are heading in the right direction mackem 4 ever mad max

I think its plain to see our starting 11 with the current squad should be

Simpson Williamsons Collo Santon
Sammi/RTaylor Tiote Cabaye Jonas
Ben Arfa
Ba

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Agree but do you not just think that moving Simpson on would be a better idea? Last night's performance was the last straw for me. He was directly responsible for the 2nd goal and more often than not he's responsible for others too. Just one example is Rodwell's goal in the 2-1 win in November. The corner is swung in and Simpson does track Rodwell's run until its too late and he has a free header.

Agree0 Disagree0

Simpson? have you not been conscious this season

Agree0 Disagree0

The post says current squad!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ideally we sell simpson and bring in Pieters and Yanga Mbiwa.

I think Delfounso from Villa could do a job and a few clubs are sniffing around him - he plays well on the wings and can also do a job up front.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Dec 2011 23:10:10
I think that was the worst Newcastle performance I have seen all season. We were awful on the right. Obertan is a decent player but he is so hit and miss - he has won games for us but he has also lost games! I think Sammi should start next game - really rate him. Simpson also had an awful game - which is prob because he was covering the right on his own!

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Obviously this was posted by obertan, he is the only person in the world who would think he is a decent player, oh, apart from pardew

Agree3 Disagree1

What can we Sunderland supporters say. What more can you expect from MU REJECTS?

Agree0 Disagree0

Do these man utd rejects include O'Shea and Wes Brown? Numpty, think before you type... honestly

Agree2 Disagree0

Can not believe my eyes, man u rejects, bardsley, brown, richardson, o'shea and campbell, get back to your cheesy chips ya cretin

Agree1 Disagree0

That is my point. You are the cretin.
Before you signed Obertan it was you SGBs who were posting on our site about MU rejects.
Such short memories when it suits you.

Agree7 Disagree0

Obertans is miss and miss I cant recall any game that he has won for us

Agree1 Disagree0

Exactly mate, they soon forget when they buy a man utd reject

hi ed, no rumour here, i just want to use this platform in the slim chance that pardew will actually read the following post:

gabriel obertan is thw worse midefeilder i have ever seen in a newcastle shirt, worse than routledge, luque, ignacio gonzalez and viana, his terribleness is hitherno unknown to science please drop the ugly bald t**t immediately. cheers {Ed001's Note - he was abysmal today, I couldn't see what he offered Newcastle at all.}

Believable4 Unbelievable1

He has offered nothing all season apart from embarressment

Agree3 Disagree1

Only thing abysmal about this post is your spelling

Can anyone tell me when Cheick & Demba leave for Africa?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

At the airport now !

Agree1 Disagree1

Soon then u will be minus 4 players when cabaye and colocini receive their bans!

Agree3 Disagree1

Neither were intentual... So both should escape bans.. Love how sky slow down and highlight {Ed001's Note - Cabaye's was clearly intentional, it was a horrible and nasty stamp. Coloccini has previous for it, Blackpool fans will tell you he did exactly the same thing to Gary Taylor Fletcher last season. You can't blame Sky for the fact that those 'challenges' were disgusting.}

Agree2 Disagree4

Ed001 do you see either Cabaye or Colo getting charged? Even Tiote just before the Cabaye studs? {Ed001's Note - I do, purely because the FA will want to show they are not really anti-Liverpool after the charges against Suarez. Though it really does come down to the FA, so who knows for sure?}

Agree3 Disagree0

Nothing to do with balancing things out.
A ban is fair.

Agree3 Disagree0

Neither will receive bans, just people jumping on the bandwagon, colo's incident may be in the ref's report as an innocuous collision because bellamy had to go off and cabaye's won't be but won't be acted upon because in real time the challenge is in the course of play and isn't 'dangerous' play within the laws of the game, he hasn't stamped on him at all, so stop talking wet

Agree0 Disagree3

Colo's was nt intentional at all. Bellamy is smaller than colo and ran into to his elbow when he jumped for the ball. Bellamy did nt even jump. Cabeye's open to disscussion. Funny how sky never mentioned Downings dive in the corner at the start of the second half. Funny old thing 2 ex Liverpool players in the studio!

Agree1 Disagree2

Cabayes was a disgusting challenge, should of recieved a straight red, he did the same against bardsley in our game but got off with it, It's not like colocini to do stuff like that but it looked really bad from replays, tiote and ryan taylor were lucky boys, I think coz the bubble has burst your players are getting dirtier and injuries/suspensions will build up and you will have to play shola in defence.SGBS

Agree4 Disagree0

So when cabaye has 2 feet off the ground its illegal but when jay spearing goes in 2 footed in the same tackle its legal? {Ed001's Note - are you blind? Cabaye makes no attempt to play the ball, he just stamps on Spearing's ankle, after the ball has gone. It was a disgusting attempt to hurt a fellow pro and he should just be glad he didn't break the lad's ankle.}

Agree1 Disagree0

30 Dec 2011 21:35:57
Surely colocini guna get a ban for that elbow

Believable6 Unbelievable1

Hopefully......for life !

Agree4 Disagree3

Hope not

Twice Danny Simpson messes about twice we concede...

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Can't even get a point against the worst liverpool team in 40 years...ho ho ho

Agree7 Disagree0

The worst liverpool team in 40 years yet a liverpool team that has spent over 100mil in the last year? mhmm whos the mug really?

Agree1 Disagree2

Whole team was absolutely rubbish from back to front, Krul playin unreal all season then all of a sudden he s**ts his pants against liverpool and messes up for 2 goals. As for ryan taylor why the hell is this guy still starting at left back-hes being targeted game after game as our achilles heel-look what sturridge did to him

The chap is not a left back! As for obertan will somebody please put him out of his misery. Both tiote and cabaye looks uninterested i this game and gave gerrard all the time he wanted on the ball

Shockin performance by an unfit team

Agree1 Disagree0

100 million...what's that got to do with it? 35 million for carroll says it all. Guess what little boy feels silly now? :)

Agree1 Disagree0

Love how little our fans know about football, the humour on this site is brilliant

Agree1 Disagree0

Yes he feels really silly with 90k a week in his sky rocket. All the best.

KNEE JERK

Agree1 Disagree0

Did Newcastle benifit from selling Carroll? NO! Just Ashley, and you
got Demba ba who fails medicals because his knees are shot... Good call, or well Pardew has another season at most, then the next cockney will in ta da.

Agree0 Disagree1

Your post makes no sense at all, failed meds and dodgy knees , what you saying , that we lucked out or what?. Fact is the gamble paid off he's second top scorer and cost nowt .

money doesn't guarantee success. everyone slagging m.a down cos he wont sign big stars. look at all the money k.k spent in his time at sjp and still no silverware came. m.a is doing a good job off the field. if it was left down to the idiots on here the signings and wages you would have to pay for the players mentioned then you would not have a team in 2 years time.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

SGB. ANYONE SUPPORTING M.A. HAS GOT TO HAVE A SCREW LOOSE. Its total crap about agent Bruce, agent Ashleigh etc. but if M.A. stays in charge, he will always be a Sunderland hero.

Agree4 Disagree0

At least spell his name correctly you uneducated fool

Agree0 Disagree1

Yeah I was pissed when I wrote it. Better than pissed off though ha ha.

Over the next few seasons i would love to see junior holliett to come in to give us some quality on the wing, moussa sow a class striker who will be able to play alongside BA so we dont have to rely on just him to get the goals, we also need back up in the middle of the park because gosling doesnt provide enough quality to cover for tiote and vuckic and abied are abit too young at the minute and we should think about loaning them out for some experience and i think tranquillo barnetta would be an excellent buy as he would be a similar type of player that joey barton was for us. We also need to strengthen at the back as it has shown in the last couple of weeks that a couple of injuries have spoilt it dramatically and we have started leaking goals, i think we need to cover the full backs as simpson and raylor can be unconsistant at times and santons fintess has been an issue so i would personally go for aly cissokho from lyon, we also need cover for center back whether this means sign a squad player like ridgewell or tomkins who will just play if either center half gets injured or someone who will push both current center backs for a starting place like vertoghen or yanga-mbiwa or possibly if ashley was feeling generous he could get a squad player and someone to push for a starting place. I also think we need cover in the goalkeeper department as if krul picks up a knock we have no sufficient cover as harper is coming to the end of his career, forster will stay at celtic and rob elliot isnt the best of keepers so someone like robert green would cover well.

Ins over the next 3-4 years-
Junior Hoilett
Moussa Sow
Tranquillo Barnetta
Aly Cissokho
James Tomkins
Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa
Robert Green

Hi i am a geordie living in bognor regis! I am absoultely over the moon that prior on the way to toon! the guy is dynamite i no its lower level stuff but he is a class apart! just prayer that pardew gives him a fair crack - i personally think he is good enough and would of been gutted if he went to eastleigh - however going to the toon is perfect! he aint no shearer but nos where the back of the net is and is just a pure finisher! fingers crossed for him met him a few times lovely lad !!!

geordie bognor

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Seems unlikely that he'll make the step up but it would be fantastic to unearth a hidden gem.

He looks a bit lightweight from the pics I've seen but I'll bow to local knowledge. Tell us what he's like Geordie Bognor (height, pace, whats hi style?).

Ed- any update on Marveaux and his recovery/timeline, or is it just same old news? Really think he looked a creative type was hoping to see him an Ben Arfa, Ba, and Cabaye play together this year... too bad. {Ed001's Note - it's a hernia he has, so it is fairly simple and should be back early in April. Though a player that fragile is likely to recover slowly.}

I know everyone is all up in arms regarding AP comments this week "no new striker". But maybe just maybe, he has faith in Best and Ameobi and others to help score goals.... now just wait before you freak out, when Andy was sold who stepped up and scored us goals? I think if anything Best deserves the chance (with Ben Arfa's help) to knock a few in during Ba's absence. Look i know he isn't top striker, but everyone is always on here (around transfer time) saying we need a new striker and we never replaced Andy. Well first off we did, Ba is light years better (pace, control, turn, footwork....ex), and if the truth be told Best has been better for us this year than AC been for liverpool (i know thats not saying much). We all want faster, stronger, better players every window, and I am waiting to see if we get any more in hope than expectation. But if we fail to sign a new striker in January perhaps it will force some of the current players on the squad to start contributing a little more on the score sheet... Obertan, Jonas, Cabaye, Ben Afra... ex

Believable1 Unbelievable0

30 Dec 2011 06:25:16
Perhaps AP has aid we are not signing a new striker, because they are bring one in on short term loan to cover for BA......maybe Machida??

Believable0 Unbelievable2

That would still be signing a striker on loan, still trying to make excuses and getting your hopes up SGBS
