Worried now that after them 2 goals against Chelsea Cisse will be away in the summer.

We need him badly without hes goals where would we be since january?.

We shall see Ashleys ambition with no doubt bids for Ba,Cisse,Tiote,Cabaye,Krul in the summer.

I actually fear next season. Seriously with the extra games being in europe and bigger clubs after our better players can Carr find more? And how can we match this season. This season has been fantastic but it could just be a one off only time will tell.

They are all on large contracts, so clubs will have to pay alot of money for them.

Its up to Ashley to say no.. We will see what ambition he has for the club in the summer. Hopefully the same one we want.

ED, did you see cisse's goal? contender for goal of the decade maybe? {Ed001's Note - I am just waiting to watch the highlights now. The other editors were watching it, so I watched Bolton-Spurs to make sure someone did. They won't stop going on about the goal.}

In all honesty i can see why they might keep going on about it... beautiful {Ed003's Note - Ed 001 was watching the soap drama awards really(massive Corrie fan) but what a peach of a goal...boom ...pick that out! got him in my dream team aswell :) }

What a load of sh@ you spout mate, we were a "one man team" when Ba was playing well aswel, load of carp. Cisse is undoubtedly awesome but where would he be without the service he gets? Santon for the first goal, Ameobis hold up play for the second, cant take anything away from the fact hes class but without a good team around him bossing the midfield and sweeping up in defence Newcastle wouldnt be where we are, regardless of how many Cisse scores

IF you bid for him, then yes maybe he would go to you lot. I'd imagine we'd take the 50mil say thanks very much and try find another great player.. IF. However, you must remember that not every football player is a total mercenary, that's not to say that Cisse isn't. Even so though, I'd rather have someone playing for my team who isn't there simply for the cash. Besides, it's probably the blue side of Manchester who've got the clout nowadays.

Man utd the only UNITED worthy of the name will spend big this summer the rumours are Tiote is coming to man utd and Cisse maybe our new Andy Cole off you lot. You get big club attendances but your not a big club this season is a one off. Chelsea will be better next season after villas boas,spurs after redknapp commits,liverpool after a poor season will pick up,everton will be challenging, The big clubs have had indifferent seasons this year us included and newcastle capatalised on it but lets see you do it consistantly.

They might be slightly smaller neigbours but there propper fans just like we are, not glory hunting wannabees like you lot. Come on city and haway the toon for the champs league

I'm sick of people saying we are a selling club. Let's just look at who we HAVE sold in the last year or so:
Caroll - £35m - you'd be a mug not to.
Nolan - great service but lets face it, past it for a team looking to improve.
Barton - not really worth the trouble.
Enrique - perhaps the only one who'd still get in our team but wanted too much money.
Then let's look at who we bought:
Ba - great start to the season, will come good again, showed glimpses last night, scored twice as many as Carol this season.
Cabaye - great buy,controls midfield incomparable to Nolan.
Santon - not quite the finished article but looking very good.
Cisse - last night says everything you need to know.

Going on this evidence then if we are a selling club - so be it! Man United could come in for Tiote and Cisse - that is of course if the Glaziers are going to give fat Alex $60m to spend! The so called 'big' clubs (and that refers to their wallets and NOTHING else!) are worried and somewhat embarrassed that we have managed what we have with the budget we have - and rightly so!

It just upset the big clubs that we are amongst them by running a club properly and not throwing millions around. Liverpool is the prime example. £20 million for downing, £5 million for Ben arfa, £35 million for Carrol, Ba free, Cisse £9 million. £16 million for Henderson, Tiote £ 5 million.

It says a lot when last night you could have bought almost all our match day squad for the money they spent on one player!

You could have brought our whole squad for 50 mil haha. adstatoon.

What you going to do if a big club steals your biggest asset? Not Cisse,BA,Krul etc but Carr.

So what happened on saturday wigan must be hopeful they can kick on from the end of this season and carry it into next season

Carr won't walk out on Toon he loves the club and is loyal.

Great first half, Cisse and Ba looking sharp, Perch solid at right back,likes to let them know he is there, worried about williamson,Pardew needs to tell him to just put his foot through it,no messing or trying to pass just smash it out the danger area, cmon Toon keep it going

I think we need to push for the champs league and get more players in tbh. The squad we have atm is good but needs to be strengthened if we want to do well in Europe!

Starting 11 is good but squad too weak with european football next season its a worry any injuries or suspensions will be a nightmare big fear factor

Starting eleven is ok but thats about it, the defence as it stands is unreliable, we go to pieces at times

I realise i will get alot of dislikes as no b
Cisse in starting team, however i see this as showing faith in ba who has delivered in big games such as stoke away and united at home, 2 of our best performences and also allows impact on the bench from cisse/guthrie/raylor/marveaus/obertan. As i say just my opinion on tonight, dont have a go just leave comments that provoke thought and debate please
