Use our rumours form to send us newcastle transfer rumours.

29 Aug 2012 22:14:31
I wish someone could post with some solid rumours! We have the same ones over and over, and nothing im reading is genuinely linking us with anyone. With Lille getting through to CL I think Debuchy is off. Ed - honest opinion, do you think we are going to sign anyone? Do we have genuine interests or does it rest of us selling someone as Pardews comments seem to suggest? {Ed052's Note - Maybe }

Believable0 Unbelievable1

The reason there are no solid rumours is simply because there are none, the same ones you read every day are made up and that shows as the never progress. Pardew has came out publicly and said this also. Were done in the market this summer. The quicker you realise this the better.

Just wondering if yous no anything, it says on the club website that the home kit is for 2012/13, it used to be every 3 years we got a new home kit, £65 for the new one, just to pay the same next year, pisstake in my eyes.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Dont think anyone should buy it as it has no sell on value

qpr signed ceasar, now in talks with madrid over granero & carvalho, ashley worth alot more than qpr owner but there going out buying every 1 having a go, which is right cant take ur money to the grave with you. we wont finish top 10 this year. top 10 will be. 1.man city 2.man utd 3.chelsea. 4.everton. 5.spurs 6.arsenal 7.liverpool 8.fulham 9.swansea 10.qpr 11.newcastle 12.wba 13.sunderland 14.wigan 15.stoke 16.norwich. 17.west ham 18.southhampton. 19.reading. 20.aston villa

Believable4 Unbelievable4

Cheer up will you. If you think qpr will be ahead of us you really need to give your head a shake.
Signing every player under the sun that is 30 years plus does not equal good business, especially when those players are going for a pay day. QPR = relegation fodder again.

Agree0 Disagree0

We have the same Squad which finished 5th so its not all doom and gloom just putting added strain with the extra games. QPR have bought dross all summer.

There it is again Pardew saying he hopes to keep all his " best " players. This is getting said all to often for something not to be off. Repeat of last summer I hope not.

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Pardew's a puppet - lost all respect for him when he 'thanked' Ashley for allowing him to buy Anita. He should grow a pair.

Agree2 Disagree2

Players will leave I am expecting 3 to leave and one or two loans as part of the deal to come in.

Sorry but newcastle fans are going to be dissapointed with their transfer dealings.

At least you won't be bankrupt like sunderland the new pompey will be in the next few years, they will be spending around 30 million before the window closes on top of the 22 million they have already spent.

Agree2 Disagree1

Safc will not go bankrupt with ellis short in charge so stop trying to convince yourself that we will,mr short is considerably richer than agent ashley, who has got short arms with long pockets.

29 Aug 2012 19:41:58
Ed what's your view on the transfer situation? Too quiet with only 2 days left to go. Could we get a surprise or two you think? {Ed052's Note - Yes, of course}

Believable3 Unbelievable2

The only big name signings for the northeast will be sunderland, they are far from finished and will be bringing in 3 more players two costing over 10m each.

Agree3 Disagree2

That's fair. Heskey would cost sunderland at least 10 million with martin o neill doing the deal

Agree2 Disagree0

Well you best hurry up as you haven't signed a big name in a long time, if ever.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dead right my freind, agent ashley is selling pratdews players for profits to spend on rangers.tee hee.

Agree1 Disagree1

After sess goes for 10 million maybe....k

Agree0 Disagree0

Sess just extended his contract to 2015,woo hoo, safc have players who dont wish to leave.

Pardew has just said on radio Newcastle, that we will all have to wait until the last minute on deadline day to try and sign someone, and sweat on it,cos thats the type of club we are unfortunately, his words?

Believable4 Unbelievable2

29 Aug 2012 18:28:43
Im begining to think thats our lot, I think we are as strong as last season but others have overtaken us so maybe 8th

Looks like a deal for Debuchy is dead in the water as far as we're concerned after Real Madrid have offered 9.5million. Plus if we wanted him that bad I'm sure we would have signed him by now. Shame because he looks a real tidy player!
The worst move we could make is if we let Ben Arfa go. He's been a class above any other player on the same pitch as him this season as well as last. I'm fearing a bid from Manchester United if they let Nani go.
1 player I do expect to see come through the doors on Friday at St James is Seydou Doumbia from CSKA Moscow. Reports in Russia claim a fee has been agreed of around 18 million and that Doumbia has been desperate for a move to the prem for the past 18 months.

clubs have been put on alert as tottenham have said they will listen to offers for parker, van der vaart and lennon, i'd like to see newcastle swoop for lennon.

Believable3 Unbelievable3

As an LFC fan I'd love to see you go for Lennon too! JimK

Agree1 Disagree1

As a toon fan I'd love to see you spend £15m plus on more overpriced rubbishe! Ha ha

Yes we will be as we are buying tiote for 15 million lol

cabaye is registered on the arsenal website has the n17 jersey, tiote will be sold aswell. debuchy off to real madrid, douglas doesnt want to come to england. should go for 'ole' of osasuna the same player as tiote and isco of malaga to players wud cost 20m.

Believable3 Unbelievable7

What load of b*******. Must have a lonely boring life to keep putting this rubbish on here.

Colo and Krul BOTH signed new contracts saying the vision for the club excited them. Well if that is true, maybe we WILL sign a couple of decent players before window shuts. If Fat Ash and Pardew have fed them Bull, then i hope both come out and show their frustration because every supporter will back them. No more of this " we tried but club wouldnt sell" crap please .

Believable2 Unbelievable3

29 Aug 2012 14:49:13
Pardew has been on sky sports saying the players they want their teams won't let them leave so we are not going to sign anyone. but I bet there open to offers for our top players. It's nice to go to the match and see some new players. Remember this quote I put on before. Cing Cing count the cash ash. Bobby.

Believable5 Unbelievable3

Totally agree mate, last 3 years work down the pan,everyone,L/pool,Everton,Chelsea etc strengthening and we are standing still. Fat Cashley looks like he has stitched us again!!!!

Agree4 Disagree1

That wasn't what he said now was it. He said the players we want are secure at their clubs but we will wait and see what pops up.

Agree2 Disagree2

Why go after players who are unobtainable ,that's just nuts .

Hey all another non-rumour. Wondering what people would think of Walcott. Am i right in thinking he prefers playing as a striker, just Wenger put him on the wing. Apparently Arsenal are willing to sell, young, pacey attacker. Reckon he'd provide the ying to Cisse and Ba's yang? We can talk about whether he's every sign for Newcastle or wage demands if there's any actual link to him, i'm just wondering what people think for now.

Believable4 Unbelievable4

Would be great but we couldn't afford 100k wages

Agree2 Disagree2

As a striker no. He simply cannot play with his back to goal

Agree0 Disagree1

Anyone who pays his wage demands needs to be sectioned, biggest flop of the decade

Agree2 Disagree1

Sorry that's meant to say whether he would ever sign for us.. Though it looks like theres a short term deal now to keep him at the gunners. Anyway, interesting what people think of him. Personally just think that at 14 mil if that's what his value is i'd take him over carroll at 17 mil... ta

29 Aug 2012 08:17:56
I think Newcastle pardew Ashley etc. are trying to sell there big stars. But no one is really interested. If they got a concrete offer they would snap there hands off. They won't be signing nobody. They playing games with the toon fans. Linked with so many players. I hear they were offered Defoe which was turned down. He would be class at Newcastle.

Believable7 Unbelievable7

Because no epl club want to buy safc,s over aged or over priced players

a week to remember ? rooney to toon ba and tiote to man u ?

Believable1 Unbelievable5

Christ I hope not

Agree1 Disagree0

Lol I wouldn't be gutted but it ain't gonna happen!

Agree1 Disagree0

We all should admit we'd rather have Rooney than Ba.

Agree2 Disagree3

Ok, even if this were possibly true (which it isn't) rooney is currently out for 1-2 months, and is on 300k at manu (which we would never pay!) so even if whilst injured his wages were halfed, he would earn about 1 mil for sitting on his arse at home. and we would loose a striker (who suits out style) and a defensive midfielder that is one of the best in the league. Adstatoon

Agree0 Disagree1

29 Aug 2012 07:16:59
either this is going to be a crazy thurs and fri, with tiote, and collo (age 30) leaving i reckon, therefore we need to sign two central defenders, midfielder, and still a striker and left attacking midfielder, tick tock, have we actually made any bids besides debuchy ? cos its getting to late for talk,,, bid bid bid

Believable1 Unbelievable5

29 Aug 2012 07:12:35
Newcastle is pretty most the team in the PL showing the least amount of ambition in this transfer window. It is so sad to see and I feel sorry for the players and I would never think bad of them for switching to a bigger and more ambitious club.

Believable8 Unbelievable6

29 Aug 2012 07:12:21
According to the Journal a striker is all we are looking for now unless Lille drop their asking price for Debucy. While I don't believe anything in the press it looks like Ashley has kept the cash in his pocket again. I ll hold off judgement until after the window shuts.

Believable5 Unbelievable1

29 Aug 2012 06:57:46
Some Toon fans are pessimists! Last season we were 'doomed' to relegation after getting rid of Nolan and Barton. Now there is no future to the club without Cabaye and Tiote?? They are great players and we wuld be best keeping them but if we got £40-50 million for the pair, we could sign 5,6 or 7 more players!
In Carr we trust

Believable3 Unbelievable4

If like you think we will get 40/50 million for the both, do you think we will spend that money in the next 2/3 days?? It has Carrol saga written all over it. Best we can hope for now is for nobody to leave and get a striker in.

Agree3 Disagree2

We might not spend it yet but it would be there. I would rather they stay i'm just saying it would not be the end of the world

Agree0 Disagree1

40 to 50 mill,what are you on,loony toon

Agree0 Disagree1

What the same as the Carrol money was there. Not going to tell me we spent all that already. Our net layout this summer is £3million. We are going to get left behind by the clubs we are competing with.

Agree5 Disagree2

29 Aug 2012 00:15:38
Just read that Henri Lansbury has moved to Forest for about 1million. This guy is class player, I watched him a few times when he was on loan at Norwich as thats where I live, and he is a decent player! For 1 million we should be looking at young English players like him for our squad!

The starting 11 I would like to see post transfer window

Krul
Debuchy Douglas Colo Santon
Tiote Jonas
Cabaye
Ben Arfa Cisse Ba

Sub: Harper, STaylor, Anita, Sammi, Marveaux, Remy

Believable3 Unbelievable3

Because we would pay 15mil for remy to sit on the bench?

Agree1 Disagree1

Tbh if we signed remy, i'd assume Ba or cisse would be leaving. as all 3 would hate to miss games.
