Imagine tuning into this Nufc site and NOT finding a soppy Mackem jumping on every post? Surely the have their own such. coms? It may be just me but I could'nt image trailing one of theirs, purely due to lack of interest!?

The honeymoon is over.

I think they are a bit worried about having no threat upfront and no fullbacks, and rightly so.

We are still light years ahead of them, and they have signed something like 10 players.

The only improvement I can see is Cabral, the rest are adding nothing.

Mannone looks alright, but they lost Migs so hardly an upgrade.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ouch! Another bite. Get over it and man up, it is a banter page and we are having good natured banter. Funny how you go all defensive and even slightly aggressive when the chips are down. Your only problems are in the management of the club. The players are fine and that will come through next season. now put your dummy away.

Agree0 Disagree0

I bet in the next 2 weeks sunderland sign 3 more players, a right back, left back and another attacking midfielder and you sign what? mmmmm no one!

Agree0 Disagree0

Why do we care who Sunderland sign. Rose signed yet or is he still lost in Sunderland?

Just heard its hard getting them over the line speech from pards on tv and that he hopes to get one over the line maybe two, it doesn't fill me with confidence

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He said that he had a paper thin squad last season. Just because you are not playing in Europe does not make the situation any better.
Simpson, Perch and Harper need replacing before you strengthen.
Not going to happen.

Does anyone else think the obvious deal for Remy would be to agree a fee, take Remy on loan with the agreement to pay the fee once he is cleared of his trial.

If the trial is ongoing we just keep him on loan for the season which both clubs review at the end of that season. If he gets time then I am assuming we would not pay his wages anymore, and QPR would be insured against their losses.

If Remy and Gomis both come to the club, the unthinkable could happen and Cisse ends up on the bench, having to prove he can up his goals to chances ratio.

Cisse no doubt can do the sublime, but just needs to up his potency back to when he first arrived. If he has players fighting him for his place, it may sharpen him up, let's be honest, we have been heavily reliant on him.

Try picking a forward 3 out of: Cisse, Gouffran, Gomis, Remy, Ben Arfa :)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No gomes, ben arfa going, remy due in court and qpr won't loan him, cisse off, try picking a good forward line out of sammy ameombi and shola ameombi? worrying times for you lot! bent going to fulham, remy also could be going to west ham

If Cabaye is sold I would like Capoue as his replacement even though he is close to a move to Cardiff, Your thoughts on this?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Would be a good replacement, is quite cheap and is younger then Cabaye

Agree0 Disagree0

Now if Cardiff were to move for cabaye then capoue would be cabushed whereas carlisle a club with class could cop cabaye and capoue causing cardiff to capitulate considerably.

Agree0 Disagree0

Capoue looks more like a defensive CM so wouldn't be a a good replacement for Cabeye.

Looks like a good player. Good replacement for Tiote.

Agree0 Disagree0

And do we get to shout "KAPPOWW!" everytime he has the ball?

What do people think of Lacazette of Lyon, Should we try and sign him?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Same club as Gomis I would try for him as he scores off the wing for Lyon and has great potential

Agree0 Disagree0

Would prefer Lacazette over Gomis.

Newcastle United have signed. NO-ONE! Ashley and kinnear will destroy our club, Ashley made us a joke among the press but now he has taken us to the lowest depth we have ever been by appointing kinnear. If we had an owner with the ambition of the owners at Norwich, Southampton, Cardiff, Swansea and even our unwashed neighbours, then can you imagine where a club with our fanbase, stadium and city could be?
Do the decent thing Ashley, round your cowboys up, sell the club and p**s off out of our lives.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Why would anyone want to put money into a club where the fans hate him if you want Ashley to back the club then the best thing your fans can do is get behind not just the club but the guy who owns it. I can remember the guy sitting amongst your fans at away games not many chairmen do that not just that you could actually see on ashleys face he felt like one of the lads but then some of the fickle fans started giving him grief and now it has spread like wildfire not just including the fans who go home and away every week but also your armchair fans. if I was Ashley I would let the club go for what his owed and get a club where the fans would appreciate him

Agree0 Disagree0

I couldn't agree more.

Agree0 Disagree0

He won't go until he gets his moeny back with interest and I think Agent Ashley and Agent Joe are doing a top job making your club a joke! Keep up the good work!

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with the first poster. The guy is taking the p##s now. He's a total shark. That's probably why he doesn't address the fans himself. His P. R people know we'll pick up what a horrible person he is. The sooner he sells up the better. We need an owner who loves the club like we do.

Im sure every other fan agree when I say I will be furious if we sign Phil Bardsley.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Not really I for 1 will be happy because take away he played for the smbs I think he will be a good addition he will give debucey competition and he is a better defender than Simpson. rember bracewell and Barry venison

Agree0 Disagree0

As a sunderland fan I might be one of only a few who will be sad to see bardsley go the lad is a solid no nonsense right back and can't see where we will be able to replace him for the money we are going to get if he goes to Newcastle you will be getting a player who will give you 110% lads

Agree0 Disagree0

Bardsley has never been the same since his injury, he puts in a shift but is championship standard and is an alco according to people who know him hence the picture taken in the casino smashed, so he will fit in with your joke players

Agree0 Disagree0

I think this could all just be a little misunderstanding on Joe's part. Could it be that in all those years he spent in the wilderness he has missed the fact that Peter Beardsley has retired. he thinks he can snap him up on a Bosman from Darras Hall FC.

All of a sudden it's leaked that we're in for two strikers. Didn't think Newcastle did business like that anymore. Thought we only get to know when the deal is wrapped up. Could this just be rubbish to keep the fans quiet. Be interested to know what season ticket sales are at the moment. Just a thought.
Qball.

Like most fans totally p. ed off with the ignorance, arrogance and no football accument owner Ashley.
Surrounded by a poor manager and a joker who should not be in football in fact none of these 3 should be.

Newcastle finished 5th bottom and will be rolling around the bottom 3 by Xmas. 5th would probably be acceptable for Ashley and with luck he may just get it whist the fans put up with the same rubbish served up last season.
Despite some fans misguided loyalty this team will struggle from the off and the depth of players wii NOT cover any inevitable injuries.

As it stands this club is not worth supporting under the present regime and fans are in for a lot of disappointment 2013/2014. and Ashley is now officially the worst football owner in the UK and that includes the Venkeys.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Agree the club are a joke and there does not seem to be any way out

Ashley again has shown shoestring buying and ignorance of one if the best leagues in the World
most teams have strengthened and if we are higher than 15th I will be amazed

Agree0 Disagree0

These Sunderland fans are getting creative.

Nice try.

How are Altidore and Ba getting on?

Sunderland = No fullbacks and no strikers.

Good luck next season heh.

Agree0 Disagree0

Remind me who you lost to in pre season, were you in a tournament at all, who have you signed? how is agent ashley and agent Joe doing? don't know how you dare try and laugh at us and the most honest of mag fans will agree with me!

Bbc gossip saying we're interested in Phil Beardsley from sundo, just when you think JK can't be anymore of a joke he's looking at one of the worst full backs in the league. Why let Danny Simpson go if you replace him with that rubbish. Also jonas reckons loads of the players think training was too easy? Why not tell pards during last season so he could ramp it up and if it was so easy why were so many injured? Joke!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Im a sunderland fan and obviously you don't know a great deal about football simpson is not in the same league as bardsley if he signs for Newcastle debuchy won't get a game

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol I'm a mackem and that comment saying debuchy won't get a game must be a windup. Bardsley is what he is a decent premier league class right back but debuchy is a step up.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mr mackem can you pick a game where debuchy has done anything constructive for Newcastle he has played in a defence which conceded nearly 70 goals he can't tackle and when he gets forward his end product is poor playing for france and in the French leagues he looks a decent player and he could improve with more experience but as a premier league player he can't tie bardsleys boot laces

Look, people need to stop arguing over this Remy thing. He snubbed us in January for 20k higher wages (80k a week wages at QPR) and was convinced to go to QPR not just by Redknapp but Fernandes, whereas Remy only met with Llambias at newcastle. If we go back in for him and happen to get him, who cares what happened in January? They can always agree to put the January situation behind them and get on with it. Money's all you see in football these days, its ridiculous, so there's hardly any loyalty at the moment. Loic's a fantastic striker, lethal, quick and great in the air, he's the striker/winger that ticks all the boxes, that's why we need to get him and Gomis, not Gomis and bent. Besides, there are reports now that Remy has told his representatives that his preference between Newcastle and West Ham is Newcastle (and he will take a drop in wages) which is great! He has a relegation release clause which is 6-8m Or we could take a season long loan, if he's found innocent then pay the fee (and some mackems are coming on here saying we can't afford him which is obviously BS)

I for one really hope we do get Remy, I think he'd be a great partner alongside Cisse and hopefully we can get Gomis to add competition.
