I think we need 4 or 5 good english players, Carroll back, Sinclair, Charlie Austin, Tom Ince and Dunk from Brighton. Carroll will be like £15m but Ince will be free, Austin will be £5m at maximum, Sinclair will be £3m or £4m. Dunk will be like £2m Do what Southampton, Norwich and Aston Villa do scout very good young english players that are cheap and with potentional but we can do it different like Villa got too many young players at once, but we can bring in 3 or 4 and keep them along side the likes of Cabaye, Sissoko, Ben Arfa, Cisse etc.
Apart from Campbell and Bigi who is even British with potentional, possibly Sammy and Ferguson too but we will see.

I think this whole 'the foreign players don't know how to fight for their lives in the PL' thing is a distraction.

Pardew could have put a different 11 on that pitch and the result would have been the same. The players didn't know what they were doing.

The least you expect is for the team to be organised. We didn't even get that. Does Pardew think choosing 11 players and hoping, is enough because that's what it seemed? No strategy at all. Do they even talk about tactics?!

last game of season wigan v villa, hopefully that wil be the decider, the looser goes down, because arsenal going to wup us to,, wigan unlucky today, so I think it will be villa down, let's hope they keep loosing, one win from either and my god pressure wil really be on

Way way too many foreign players in your team, not enough grit and fight. your lucky suarez was suspended or it would of been 10.

Liverpool fan here, I honestly don't think it would of. also no need to come on to some other teams page. Let's just praise our players instead.

Cheers pardew, you embarrassed us once again, we now have the worst defensive record somehow because we have good defenders. I think there's something going on behind the scenes with pardew and Jonas, dunno.

I have a theory that Pardew diddled Gutierrez's wife and he's being blackmailed by Gutierrez.

Only Toon fans think you have good defenders, 66 goals conceded and counting, Taylor and Co. are the joke of the prem, or have you not twigged yet.

I don't know why they bother. It's not been a good day and i'm sure the SMB's take great delight in us getting trounced - as we do when they do. But of course I forget under the Italian the Makems getting trounced is a thing of the past. A much better team, in your league position - you sounds like you are royalty amongst slugs.

tried my best to support Pardew but can't back him anymore doesn't seem to know what to do, started with a defensive team gave the game away before we kicked off. i'm sure they can't do any training of any worth, today they looked unfit, couldn't care less no effort no clue. Probably don't care if we go down they will just move on to somewhere else. my final word on the matter won't say it again PARDEW OUT

Newcastle mystify me. nobody up front. Cisse on his own with nobody around him. so how the hell are Liverpool finding so much space between our midfield and defence?

We have some lazy, bone idle, slow players. no effort whatsoever!

Liverpool have literally walked the ball into our net twice!

And why start with 2 defensive midfielders when we can't score goals to start with. making the impossibe even harder.

Anyone who rates Cabaye at £25 million needs a head check! He is utter rubbish, can't cross, can't take corners, no pace, wins no headers. just a few of the things u would want your centre midfielder doing!

And the defence is rubbish. every single one of them. The way we were chasing Debuchy I had big expectations when he got here. but he is no better than Simpson! Maybe not even on par!

We are going down!

Rubbish about Cabaye and Debuchy, don't scapegoat individual players for what was an all round shocking performance.

Its hardly scapegoating cabaye when he's been shocking for the past 4 months, take away the free kick vs stoke, what else has he done. he's rubbish man. and if you think he's good enough to lift this team, then u r sadly wrong and you will never watch good football again with him in the team. he's a rotten apple. not up for it at all.

and as for debuchy taking the easy way out by getting sent off. typical frenchman!! pleased he's gunna be suspended from now on!!

Pardew out end of. The team that he has put out is a joke 3 defensive MF players? Sorry Pardew you are clueless I have defended him all season but having watched 10 mins of the game it is obvious he does not have a clue at all.

We need a new manager, I am really fearful now that we are for the drop as I cannot see were the next points are coming from.

Unless there is a complete turn around or we manage to somehow salvage something from this match it is going to be tough.

Anyone who moans or jumps to his defensive to say that we have had injuries etc, stop, please now. we have 80 percent of our players available and only colo would get into the team now. Also were is HBA?

What can I say? All this BS about 4 3 3, we should play 4 4 2, at least we would have 2 strikers on the pitch Sissoko and cabaye in the middle, HBA and Marveux on the wings and Cisse and Campbell up front. that's right I said Campbell!

Very pleased with 433 today, only questions is, WHY THE F**K IS GUTIERREZ PLAYING, WHY IS SISSOKO NOT PLAYING INSTEAD OF PERCH AND WHY HAS GOUFFRAN BEEN DROPPED? AND IF HBA SAID HE'S 100% FIT WHY NOT START HIM?

I hope pardew knows what he's doing today because we need to win this game, but I still have faith.

Definitely looked like Pardew knew what he was doing today. And he absolutely did not backtrack on his strategy/try to fix his mistakes with the halftime subs. So, do you still have faith in him?
