Once again it looks like we won't sign any new players what happens if remy gets injured or cabaye goes throught a bad spell or worse sold, who else looks like putting the ball in the net what's our options, shola, sammy, cisse, ben arfa if we want to keep the season going in the right direction surely we need to spend a few quid

Gaz you are preaching to the choir everybody knows we need to spend but because we are safe Cashley won't spend a penny. What worries me more is come the summer we will have 1 recognized striker at the club. Cashley might think the prices are high now, wait until the summer when clubs know we are desperate for a striker.

Reading elsewhere that PSG have agreed fee of 26 mill euros which is about £21 million for Cabaye, if true how is Mata worth 37 and Ozil worth 42?surely he is as good.

Because Mata and ozil are far superior than cabaye, even though I think cabaye is a great player.

Gip, well you would say that. Cabaye has been much better than ozil this season, and mata hasn't really played. we've slapped a 35m price tag on cabaye which is very reasonable.

Yes but Mata and Ozil have both proven their worth in the champs league and playing for world class teams. Cabaye will be seen as a bit of a gamble compared to those hence the lesser price.

Because cabaye doesn't play for champions league teams. if cabaye was at Bayern etc he would cost a champions league rival 40m+

Cabeye probs would be worth more if he had played in the Champions League but until he does he will never be worth over £20mil.
Mata and Ozil have proved themselves at the highest level and are much younger than Cabeye so are always going to command a larger transfer fee.

Even if bigi weren't injured. how could he justify a starting place. Norwich is just as important to win. players been off 10 days they should all be wanting to play.

Anita deserves a starting place. On current form Cabeye, Anita and Tiote are our best 3 for CM. I still think we need to replace Tiote but has doing okay at the moment.
Sissoko isn't doing much on the right but does give his fullback some protection unlike Ben Arfa. But I do want to see Ben Arfa play. So would play him and give Sissoko a rest.
I still think Remy would be good on the right as would still get into the box and be a threat on goal again unlike Sissoko.
We would be a great team with an out and out number 9. But I don't know of any that are in our price range and would want to play for us. In dreamland again, but out of all the number nines out there I would love to see Cavani.
