Now we need to start looking at players from Germany, Spain, Holland, Italy, asia, africa and north and south American that are between 17-21 for your development squads.

Toon jegz

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Sorry I forgot to say Belgium as well because I like that player dries mertens we should put a bid in for him £10m.

Toon jegz

Agree4 Disagree0

The best young players in Germany and Spain are more expensive and go to Champions league clubs.

Holland is hit and miss, again the quality comes with a price tag.

Asia?????

Belgium has a good international team but it is limited to about 20 top class players and everyone else is league 1 class.

Italy is not producing great players anymore, the current Italy team is the weakest I have ever seen, hoofball to Balotelli is not the old Italy I used to know.

South America is an interesting place to look, Argentina and Uruguay is producing some good talent.

North America does not produce any good players at all, you could count on one hand the amount that have been to the premier league and just about held their own.

so we got Cabaye, Cisse BenArfa Yanga Santon Tiote for the price of Carrol and Nolan can only say hats off to Ashley and Pardew, I know we have had a bad season but with injuries and the likes of Sammy Ameobi ferguson going backwards Simpson Williamson Colo Sh Ameobi playing terrible the management were in a corner but they seem to be fighting back and spending money wisely so lets give it up for Ashley and Pardew Destoon

Believable5 Unbelievable4

I meant jonas not Colo destoon

can somebody tell me which new signings wil be available for the last 32 of the europa league cheers

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Haidaira only

Agree1 Disagree0

Sissoko and haidara can gouffran can't and he's has to pick between mbwia and deburcy not 100 percent sure

Agree0 Disagree0

Forget Europe and lets climb that league

Agree2 Disagree0

I don't agree the europa league is a good chance to get to a final and win some silverware what good is coming 10th in the league, we can go one better than boro

Agree0 Disagree0

All except goufron

Agree0 Disagree0

Mbiwa or debuchy can, only 1 of them tho, not both, so pards has got to decide between them

Agree0 Disagree1

Why only 1 of them?

Agree1 Disagree0

Uefa rules, player who has played in europe for 1 team, can't play in europa for another (Gouffran).
1 player can be registered, if he has played in champs league for 1 team and then signs for team in europa (debuchy or mbiwa).
It's a uefa rule that only 1 player can be registered.

Agree0 Disagree0

We can register three more players, but only one player who has played in a UEFA competition can be registered and this player cannot have been fielded for another team in the same competition as us or fielded for another team who are now currently in our competition (dropped down from Champions League).

Agree0 Disagree0

Reckon debuchy will be left out of the europa squad as we have cover in that position. Haidara can come in at left back, santon go right, or perch or raylor (back in training).

BREAKING: Moussa sissoko has signed a whopping 6 and a half year deal with Newcastle in a project to save our season. Brilliant signing. Just need to keep Colo and get Rvw

25 Jan 2013 17:56:29
Hi ed, do you know which of the players we've signed can play in europe and who is cup tied {Ed001's Note - I don't know, sorry. Best thing I can suggest is looking them up on transfermarkt to see who has played in the Europa League this season.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I have read that we can only register three more players and that according to the rules we can only register one of Debuchy and Mbiwa. Gouffran has already played in the competition, but I think Sissoko and Haidara haven't. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Its so funny how all the mackems are just criticising about how we're signing loads of french players. It helps us gel, and boosts the morale, it will be like a whole group of 10 players going out to the restaurant not like 3 at a time going out for dinner. We have one of the best scouting networks in france, look at all these gems we've got:
Cabaye: bought for 4m, now worth 15-20m
Ben Arfa: Bought for 5m, now worth 18-25m
Cisse: bought for 10m, now worth 15-20m
Yanga m'biwa: bought for 6m, now clubs would have to pay 10-20m, even though he was rated 20m back in the summer when milan and arsenal were after him!
Santon: wat was it? 5m? now worth 8-15m
Krul: youth-now worth 15-18m
Tiote: bought for 3m, now worth 15-20m
Now look at sunderlands highest valued players:
Mignolet: 8-15m, sessegnon: 8-15m, johnson: 8-15m, mcclean: 7-14m, fletcher: 8-14m and all the rest of those mackems are probs worth max 4m.
Mike ashley, pardew and carr have done absolutely terrific on these signings. Fletcher bought for 14m, cabaye, ben arfa, tiote equal that amount! who would you rather have? Johnson 15m or cisse and ben arfa. Absolute gems and bargains. Aren't I right ed?
Geordie moses.

Believable8 Unbelievable1

Mclean 8-15 are you on drugs......johnson 8-15 i, m glad he went to safc would rather have sinclair much better prospect and does not think he, s an international playboy..sess 8-15.....no chance at all......k

Agree6 Disagree0

Sess is worth about 7
Johnson about 4 (Nowhere near as good as some thought he would be)
McClean 3
Fletcher's real value is about 10, they overpaid for him.

You got most of our players estimates correct apart from Tiote.

Tiote would be about 10 mil max.

Agree4 Disagree0

My bad, I forgot johnson just ruined his career by going to scumderland!
geordie moses

Agree3 Disagree0

McLean is worth 4mil at the most. Lots of my close friends are, unfortunately, season ticket holders for safc and they all say he is terrible

Agree4 Disagree0

Lol some geordie has been ripped off on fifa

Agree0 Disagree0

Cabaye: bought for 4m, now worth 15-20m
Ben Arfa: Bought for 5m, now worth 18-25m
Cisse: bought for 10m, now worth 15-20m
Yanga m'biwa: bought for 6m, now clubs would have to pay 10-20m, even though he was rated 20m back in the summer when milan and arsenal were after him!
Santon: wat was it? 5m? now worth 8-15m
Krul: youth-now worth 15-18m
Tiote: bought for 3m, now worth 15-20m

lol

cabaye yeah ill give you that.
Ben arfa around 8-10
cisse was a half season wonder about 6-8
mbiwa worth 6 million that's what you paid so that's what he is worth muppet.
tiote 10
krul overatted forster was better krul around 8 million max.
santon fair price.

Also all these new players, they may be rubbish so don't get excited yet.

Sissoko 6 year contract what if you get relegated?your in financial ruin and/or will have to sell cheap to get them off the wage bill.

Agree1 Disagree5

Its so funny how all the mackems are just criticising { reply } it does not matter how many players you buy from france m8 you still can only field 11 in a game, good on yous but its winning games that matters not how many players you can buy look at QPR really hope yous stay up think its 50/50 a criticising mackem lol ps sissoko was a good buy

Agree4 Disagree0

To that mackem or whoever he is ^^
Ben arfa 8-10? Are you serious? I think your the muppet! He's 25, and has been one of the best flair players in the prem. He's still got loads of potential to be one of the best players in the world.
Cisse 7-9m? He is still settling in and is a top class striker who will soon be bk to scoring form, 15-20 all day long.
So if we wanted to sell mbiwa wed sell at the price we bought him for? He was prevously worth 20m so we've just pulled off another bargain I'm sorry but I didn't see van persie bought for 4m and sold for 4m to man u? Coz michu is in scoring form, I very much doubt he will be sold for 2m.
Krul 8m? You do realise that ashley is class at making profit, sold carroll for 35m! We would only sell krul from 15-20m. So Sssssshhhhhhhh

Agree4 Disagree0

If it was sunderland yous would be taking the p**s yous make me laugh love the MAGS always put a smile on my face, its like reading looney tune comics coming on this page lol keep up the good work lads the only other thing I would say is good luck with the new signings because the french love to argue should know married 1 so won't belong before the revolution starts and I don't mean climbing the table

Agree1 Disagree3

Its ok saying what you think a player is worth actually get it is another matter, playes above if you stop up ok if yous go down well yous all know about contracts what's in them ?

Agree0 Disagree0

FINANCIAL RUIN we pay for all our players cash upfront and 1 of only 4 teams to so....are you saying ashley would bankrupt HIMSELF......no wonder the mukems get called deluded

Agree2 Disagree0

If more of when you get relegated you will be selling your frogs for peanuts to get them off the wage bill. Also these frogs may be crap, Cisse not french but signed last january is crap he was brilliant last january but was a fluke, the lad had form but now found out to have no class.

Krul is overrated, Cabaye top player, tiote good at what he does a better version of cattermole.Ben arfa reminds me of taarabt at qpr on he's day unplayable, but goes missing in games and is very inconsitant he is also injury prone.Cisse I don't rate him at all, Sissoko is a steal a top draw player, gouffran is average, the other frogs are hit and miss could be good at this level could be rubbish.

you are still on a bad run and by the time these players adjust to the league you could be in real trouble, your yet to win an away game, in poor form have the mickey mouse europe what's going to affect your league form, your strong favourites for relegation.

Agree1 Disagree0

You buy them for cash well done, so you don't pay wages in the championship ? that's good hope yous have not put relegation clauses in there contracts full EPL WAGES in championship saying that yous didn't last time lol

Agree1 Disagree0

We won't get relegated look at the class signings and bargains we've made, something the dirty mackems can't do.

Agree0 Disagree2

can't believe the wenger interview that has just been on tv. Again he's come out moaning about random things. Apparently it's not fair that newcastle have signed so many players in jan because it now makes it harder for the teams who still have to play them!?? oh and according to him all teams should only be allowed to sign 2 players. Could understand if the club was spending money we didn't have but we're not exactly breaking the bank!! wenger is one french man I don't want at newcastle!!

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Wenger is losing the plot.

He cannot even fish out 3.5 million for Diame, and he has the Arsenal fans pulling their hair out.

What is truly remarkable is that a winter transfer window benefits the top teams more than the lower teams, meaning Arsenal should be better off for a winter window, considering they have funds and Champions league status to attract players.

Wenger is just trying deflect criticism our way, Arsenal fans cannot understand why he was not in for Mbiwa.

Oh well, Wenger losing the plot is our gain... hopefully they keep him on for many years.

Agree2 Disagree0

25 Jan 2013 16:21:31
Wenger fuming that 'clubs like Newcastle' sign too many players in January window! Think he's upset he no longer runs the French market!

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Wenger is so tight he would turn his back on a good player over a few hundred k, probably why he is having a moan about us.

Can you imagine if we got Mbiwa for 6.7 because Wenger would only pay 6.5. lol

Agree3 Disagree0

We haven't signed as many players as qpr last january

Agree2 Disagree1

25 Jan 2013 16:07:37
glad we didn't sign Remy, doubt we'd be seeing the deals of this week had we already spent £8m.

Believable6 Unbelievable1

25 Jan 2013 13:47:59
Have to laugh at the Sunderland lot making jokes about us bringing in so many French players.

There will an awkward moment when they look at their own squad list and figure out Newcastle have more English players than they do.

(Not that it truly matters)

Believable4 Unbelievable3

25 Jan 2013 20:26:34
Sunderland's new signing N'Diaye quoted on twitter:
I've heard of Newcastle, it's a nice city, I don't know much about Sunderland though.

Agree6 Disagree0

Obsessed with sunderland again.Go on mention that you have an airport and a better nightlife etc lol pathetic.

Not bad tho a small town in durham who have more champions titles and a bigger attendance record 75k plus than the mighty newcastle real madrid barcelona united lol.

Agree1 Disagree1

Well are you obsessed with newcastle coz you appear to be on this site a lot...lol

Ranger in trouble again.....is it not time we just sacked the lad, he's never going to ammount to anything and is just dragging the clubs name in the gutter. Get rid now

Believable6 Unbelievable1

25 Jan 2013 12:45:04
still need a cb and striker, collo going this or summer window for definitly, if debuchy and santon playing where does Haidara play ?, mbiwa great replacement for williamson and about time, need to get sissoko deal done and same as ba (goofy) and cisse, one injury were stumped upfront def need striker

Believable0 Unbelievable1

I'm hoping he'll be pushing Santon up and using Haidara as a left back. But Santon has played a lot of games this season so I imagine to be begin with they'll just rotate to give Santon a rest

Agree0 Disagree0

Santon either right wing or left and drop j to get forward anonas .santon lovesd has a cracking shot on him

Agree1 Disagree0

Santon will play left wing

Agree1 Disagree0

Haidara can play left back.move santon forward instead of jonas.all santon wants to do is run with the ball.take players on and got a better shot than jonas anyway.jonas has been terrible so we need to try sumin new anyway

Agree0 Disagree0

Haidara can play accross the back 4 so is a good cover by all accounts, though to start I think Santon will be given some rest come Feb.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jan 2013 12:40:33
You lot have done well in not signing remy! look at the players you are getting and the price. tell you what you will look back at the remy thing at the end of the season and be glad you didn't sign him.
good luck for the rest of the season.

From a spurs fan.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Thanks m8 hope things go well for yous we are sick of smb and its nice to hear your comments

Reckon you could well be right mate.

I think there is a outside chance of signing Big Andy Carol on loan, with a view to resigning permanant in the summer. What do you think?

Believable2 Unbelievable5

On Loan from West Ham where he is on loan? lol Nah I cannot see it.

Agree0 Disagree0

He goes back to lpool then to us comprende.

Agree0 Disagree0

How are we going to get Carroll on loan and then sign him perm in the summer if he is not going to be available until the summer?

2 week loan with an option to buy? lol

Agree1 Disagree0

Why would we want carrol? he's been injured since we sold him, scored about 5 goals too. Plus we would have to stump up about 10-15million..... no thanks

Agree1 Disagree0

Sky Tyne & Wear reporting that Nile Ranger has been arrested on suspicion of rape.

That guy should never be allowed near a black and white jersey again irrespective of whether he is guilty or not. All he does is bring shame on our club.

IrishToon

Believable6 Unbelievable1

Hopefully this will give the club a legit way to sack him and end his contract.

We would be quids in if we could end his contract.

We do not want a penny for him, just the right to not pay out his contract.

Pleaseeee Ranger, just goo, get out.

Agree3 Disagree0

Carrol would give us so many different options up front along with cisse and gouffran

Agree0 Disagree1

Wonders why we boo him

Agree1 Disagree0

25 Jan 2013 19:52:06
See he wrote his name in 20's and posted it on twitter. I'm genuinely suprised he can spell his own name. It's always just a matter of time until he cocks up again, he has no place as a professional anything let alone footballer.

Agree2 Disagree0

Speaking as a female, if he's guilty I hope the book is thrown at him. Can't stand the little runt, he's a blooming thorn in the clubs side.On a day when we sign a wonderful player like Sissoko, his arrival has to share the news with that little gets latest misdemeanor(sp).

Agree2 Disagree0

This little oik represents everything that is wrong in football. Overhyped, arrogant, overpaid little nought.
Why he gets chance after chance escapes me. This latest escapade, (and mind the lad is innocent until proven guilty) drags the club down by association. But the story about posting his name on the web written in £20 notes, when I'm struggling to afford to get the match is beyond contempt. Get his little tw*t out of the club now.

Agree2 Disagree0

25 Jan 2013 09:59:57
All these signing are great, but our lack of fire power still needs adressing! Gouffran has never been clinical, Cisse looks haldmf the player he was this time last year, you know what your getting with Shola and then there's Xisco. Any serious targets to solve this problem? RvW? Aubameyang? Even Graham?

Believable3 Unbelievable1

The goals Demba was scoring I don't think have been replaced yet, Cisse is of the pace and we can't afford him to take more time to get going. another striker is needed now...but I think the club might be finished with this window.....anyway hope i'm wrong and cisse starts scoring and we get another striker.

Agree0 Disagree0

Relax I think Mike has realised what is needed now, we should strengthen in future transfer windows get rid of deadwood and replace automaticaly.

Agree2 Disagree0

Gouffran started being clinical this season, which is why he is coming in.

His goal record from a few seasons back may not look as good but Robin Van Persie had a rubbish goal record 18 months ago.

Agree1 Disagree0

I would not worry to much at mo about the need for another striker . It looks like set up for 433 . Central being Papp or shola . But the important ones are the inside right and left players, we have plenty of options there hba, smarv, Oba, the new lad gouff . Of even santon, which I think would be a great option . What about 4411, benny or cabaye would be perfect number 10 s, just off a main . So although I think we need another striker, it's not critical at mo .

Agree0 Disagree0

With Gouffran coming in Cisse will have a few games playing down the centre where he hasn't been allowed to do more than 2 games in a row. He won't be as prolific as last season but i'm certain he'll pick up a few

Agree1 Disagree0

24 Jan 2013 23:42:59
(from the independant Mike Ashley threat of court action if Fabricio Coloccini quits St James') hmmm sorry but I quite agree we cannot just let him go for nothing. ok his wife is supposedly ill. but nobody seams to know what's the matter with her.if she is ill hope she's ok. I know he's been a good servent but a contract is a contract

Believable7 Unbelievable1

I would just like to say the same Good for mike in some way wat has been happening with colo is a disgrace in my eyes the best defender in the prem last season and because some team where his dad works wants him they think they can get him for free fair enough he's having problems in his life at the min but find it a bit strange that nothing has been said about wat the problem is he's having if its ture that his wife is really badly ill then how has she been allowed to fly I for one work in hospital as a nurse and it is common that if your ill then you aren't really meant to travel and why would you leave England when we have some the best hospital in the world there a lot about wats happening that leads me to think that something else could be happening

Agree1 Disagree1

Exactly if she was ill why on earth go back to argentina when the rvi is in the top 5 of hospitals in uk and tbh with all of colo, s money she could get the best care here......k

Agree2 Disagree0

I wrote original post and I think his dad has tried it on. or is it just excuse to go back home on another note. ranger should never play in a black and white shirt again he just brings shame on this fantastic club

Agree2 Disagree0

I don't think we should encourage speculation as to what's wrong with Colo's mrs. It's personal and regardless of what's happened in the last couple weeks he's done more than enough to earn our respect. If what came out today, that he's staying until the summer, is true then i'm guessing he's going to buy himself out of his contract. If a player is willing to do that then it's out of our hands. He's been amaing for us ever since the championship season and I for one wish him all the best down in Argie.
