Mike ashley has come out and said he wants to keep his favourite player yohan cabaye at SJP. his value is 25m, but mike would probably still want more than that. Monaco are said to be highly interested. Tiote will probably be cashed in. 15m to a German club should do it although his worth is about 10m. Simpson, coloccini, Abeid, amalfitano, Obertan, Williamson will all be shipped out in a massive summer clearout so we can rebuild and try and consistently achieve our top 7 ambitions or as ashley calls, his "champions league ambitions for Newcastle"
We are no longer a selling club as we are in great financial position. Llambias, ashley and pardew have learnt their lessons as this premier league season will be a one off. Pardew will be told he must consistently lead Newcastle into the top 7 every season when they spend money in summer and January transfer windows, or they'll have to look at other options to get Newcastle back into the top 5 we truly deserve.
Michael Owen has said that Ashley is a liar, so do you believe him regarding Cabaye. I know who I believe.
Michael Owen is a compulsive Liar.
He said he wanted to join Liverpool but Newcastle had offered Real Madrid more money, what a load.
If Owen truly wanted to go back to Liverpool, all he had to do was refuse to agree terms with Newcastle, and tell Real Madrid he would only talk terms with Liverpool.
I would not believe a thing comes out of that guys mouth, I seriously think he is missing a few marbles lol.
Again, people need to stop living in last season Tiote worth 15million. HELL NO!
Simple reason is, he gets far too many cards, he is a liability to any team, second he has had a pretty poor season, all round.
take that 15million and take-away about 10. The most he is worth these days will be 7. 5 (on a very good un-snowy day)
We won't be cleaning that many people out either. We found that out the hard way this season:
Willo will be out the door
Simpson yer his replacement is there
Colo if he still wants to leave by the summer I can't see us keeping him around any longer than he wants to be with us, but again Mbiwa is there as his replacement
Obertan the soon the better
as for Abeid and Amalfitano they are only young, never given a chance and only been at the club for a small period of time, I think they will be given a chance in the coming season.
Regarding the Owen comment
Owen said "The club went down, I was never offered a new contract, and why would I. They would never have been able to afford me!"
I am over the money grabby whore, and so should everyone else. We got to see the best thing ever of him, he glittering career ending in a pile of misery!
Owen has just offially re-tweeted and confirmed we had offered him an extra contract in 2008 can you confirm this edd thanks. k {Ed003's Note - Yes he did.}
