For those people who are complaining about us signing so many French players, STOP. Pardew is helping the team gel more, do you bit realise some of the French bargains we have pulled off? Mbiwa, potentially a better bargain than michu, 6m originally worth 20m in the summer and wanted by Milan and arsenal. Cabaye HBA 4m and 5m, now both worth bout 20m we probably have one of the best France scouting networks, dare I say better than arsenals. We are now 20th in the richest clubs in the world, and do you know who that's all down to? Mike ashley, he may not care about the fans, he may of had to learn a lot of lessons, but my god what a buitvessmen. We are now one of the most financially stable clubs in the prem all because of ashley. Yes he can be a bit of an annoying BS'Er, but we have to start appreciating what he's some for the club. This is the most active Newcastle have been in any transfer window I've seen. Sissoko is a done deal, we need another striker and if co leaves which he probs will, then we need one more CB

Think you are a bit too OTT re MA we have always been one of the top income earners in the world due to the fan base. But looking at present situation hats off to MA just hope the new players gel and we secure Prem place this year to build next. Does not get away from the fact we should have done better in the summer. But let's be positive and look to the future

Some people are just a little bit wet between the ears, If 5 players had came in from 5 different European Countries there would not be a word, but because they are all French somehow that is not right? The mind boggles on some peoples logic.

Your two players away from a full french starting line up. Do you reckon your team will communicate in French during matches? It would be best as it is most initial language and would be much easier.

I hope the new signings can propel you up the table, would hate to see you guys relegated.

It is making a lot of sense to get our foreign players from one Country, the recruits can help with scouting and are able to speak the same language as the other imports.

At the end of the day what difference does it make if you have 12 squad players of one foreign nationality or of 12 different nationalities?

Sissoko is worth about 10 million more than we paid for him, that is a straight 10 million added to the clubs wealth and that came from Sissoko having French friends at Newcastle.

I guarantee there are going to be other clubs changing their recruitment drives and copying what we are doing by buying from one pool. (It is simply too profitable to now be ignored)

Don't care what they speak - probably won't understand Geordie anyways - but as long as they fell gel and win I don't care

All I know is teams like bayern Munich and Barcelona who have players in their team that are from the same country and are regular internationals gel and play better because they are constantly around each other !!!

I agree there is little adjustment from national to league or vice versa when the players are the same they read each other better and that reflects in their performances

Sissoko is now basically a done deal, according to Toulouse themselves.
So what now? Do we get another striker? If Colo leaves do we replace him? Or just survive with Perch, Willo (eugh), Taylor and M'Biwa. In any case, we will have signed five players with just under a week to go, how many of us thought that was going to happen before the window opened?

With the French language becoming a large voice within the squad will this have a detrimental effect on the players who can't speak French? I'm not quite sure how well they will integrate if for example they develop a 'clique' within the team. What are your views?

Pardew has said on many occasions that the player isn't only signed for their ability, they have to be able to fit into th newcastle way before they are signed. there are other aspects to new signings

So, we have signed some players from France I see. My only concern is when they decide that they can't get on with each other, the French do have a history of this......... Anyone agree!!!

Need to get youngsters out on loan now, abeid, tav, fergie, samiobi, vuckic(when he's fit) campbell and maybe bigi.

We don't want half the squad to go bigi makes the team plus campbell is going to be fourth striker if we manage to ship ranger out

think we should agree a price with collocini for his transfer, guess about 4m and see who wants to sign him and if he wants to go, until then keep doing his best for nufc.

Wasn't there some crap about Tevez when he AWOL wanting to go to Spain/Italy cause it made him closer to Argentina or something.

This window is slowly becoming quite a statement although all the players being brought in the players brought in for the prices and wages being paid, I feel anyway has been some good deals from the club, m'biwa debuchy sissoko haidara gouffran and maybe thauvin for a combined 18.2 mil (or around) has improved the squad greatly for a decent fee

about collo there's been no official statement off the club about the situation... ( unless some one has any insight of what's going on ) ED time for you to jump in m8... I know its a worry but we ( the toon ) just can't let him walk away there's got to be a comprimise ... any I think the new players we have brought in will steady the ship ( just need to get sissoko in now) geordie tom {Ed001's Note - as far as I can find out, they are trying to reach a compromise. No point keeping hold of an unhappy player, on the other hand, he is very well paid and Newcastle are short at the back anyway. Personally I expect him to go, I can't see him staying.}
