This is what I think newcastle's transfer buisness should be:
In:
Huddlestone 7m (ino he might be going to stoke but i think he would be a good signing for newcastle)
Rhodes 4m
Douglas 6m

That's ambition. Is that all the money you have? Cashly will be selling soon.

Why pay £7m when they are struggling to loan him for free ?

We have enough tacklers in our team, Huddlestone is not required. Adam Campbell will be our young gun so there is no need for Rhodes.

Can't believe we are not I. For Johnson- I know the don't have a transfer policy but surly he would come to the club he supports for 60k!

Dont want johnson at all i,ve personally know johnson very well due tim being friends with staurt parnaby when he lived at nevilles cross county durham and as much as i like him he has and his loves to be out on the drink even before games....

Adam Johnson has been sitting on a bench for the last few years, It is ok coming on for 20 minutes now and again and looking sharp but I have serious doubts about how well he could do playing every week. Downing would look like Figo if he only played as a sub now and again.

Ben Arfa had half a good season for an AVERAGE side where as Johnson played for the premier league champions.......Dont be bitter you know Johnson is a very good player so get over it.

Johnson did play for the champions but done nothing to get them there or win it as he sat on the bench feeling dog rough off the night before

Sorry to dissapoint you but Adam is not needed by Toon ,good player he may be but he can't hold a candle to HBA. Once again you will finish below us .

I know S.Taylor is bit of a folk hero but who here thinks Perchy should be our no.1 partner for Colo. I believe he was pushing for it towards the end of last season. And I thought he was terrific against Spurs as well as last night. I know Taylor is more of a threat from set pieces but Perch's pace and reading of the game seems to have improved so much and he's also a better footballer than Taylor and that's why he even played DM occasionally last season. I think Perch had 1 bad game for us last season and that was when he was partnering Danny Simpson at CB against Norwich up against a great headerer of the ball in Grant Holt. At first I was sceptical about Perch but I have to admit he has really impressed me and is definitely the mosy improved player we have.

Perch is a very good squad player. That is it. He is not as good as Taylor and if to get a regular place in the team it should be at right back if we don't sign Debuchy.

To put your heart and soul into playing football for over 30k a week is expected. I know not every player does it, but it is still expected. But can heart and soul make a player good enough?
