If Ben arfa doesn't start against Liverpool instead of Jonas, I think he and pardew have had argument. There's no excuse to have one of our most creative players on the bench for 60 plus minutes then throwing him on expecting him do something straight away. We need the points, I think he's afraid to drop someone in the team. Rumors that cabaye could be leaving and Benny, I think the only way they will leave is down to Ashley, if a 20 mil bid comes in for either I think Ashley will sell, we paid 4mil for cabaye and 5. 75mil for Benny. The profit from either player Ashley won't be able to resist.

Totally agree Jonas offers nothing to the team. Another one is strolla shouldn't be anywhere near the first team. Would rather see Campbell get a run out for 20 mins.

Agree0 Disagree0

Look what happened to Barca last night when they played there star man unfit. Uts not always the best option.

Agree0 Disagree0

Deffo Campbell. I would have him start next to Cisse

Agree0 Disagree0

We are playing Liverpool not Munich it's totally a different class, we will have more of the ball against Liverpool

Agree0 Disagree0

And by watching last night we are no Barca, and we are no Munich. But having more of the ball doesn't mean that you will win the game.

Look at Barca they had a lot more of the ball and didn't even score. we had A LOT more of the ball than the mackems. look how far that got us. and Liverpool is a hell of a lot better team than the mackems!

Don't even think that this will be easy, the lads need to look at this game as a cup final and go out there and win it by what ever means they can

Playing in Europe was the downfall to our league form

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No it wasn't. Injury and the failure to strengthen the team in the summer was/is. Man U played in Europe and won the league. City played in Europe and will finish second. Chelsea still In Europe and looking good for a top 4 finish. Spurs also played in Europe and will finish in the top 5.

Agree0 Disagree0

I am sick of the injuries excuse. All teams have had injuries. In Sunderlands case we also have a paper thin squad.
The truth is that Pardew should have strengthened the squad in the summer and didnt. He is also clueless, a bit like Mon.
I am not saying that PDC is going to set the world alight, the jury is still out on that. However, the change in the team since his arrival must make you Mags aware that it is probably Pardews management to blame and not just injuries.

Agree0 Disagree0

Your poor season is down to the fact that you are a poor team, but you won't have it. Look how many goals you have conceded for heavens sake, nearly the most in the entire league. Taylor and Co. are like the Keystone Cops, but you won't have it. You keep thinking you are a quality team, so how do you get beat as much. 1 away win all season but you are going to win your next 2 away games. Too arrogant, and you won't have it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Stop making excuses for them!

They are pro footballers who get paid ex amount of millions a year!

They have played terrible all season, that is there down fall!

If that was anyone of us in our line of work we would have been sacked by Christmas

Agree0 Disagree0

Newcastle have used the most players in the PL this season, so it's no excuse to blame injuries. The fault lies at Ashley door for not strengthen the squad in the summer. Although I do agree Pardew tactics or lack of are a worry.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fact is this so called crap defence of ours was one of the best in the league last season when Colo and Saylor combined, you don't finish 5th with a crap defence. We have had horrendous injuries to key players all season, I think we actually top the injury league though the Ed's can comfirm that. I do agree Pards has struggled to get us playing to our full potential and the Europa hasn't helped cause the squads too small and injured half the time. That aside it has been disappointing and hopefully we can survive in the PL. I think Ashley will invest in the summer, he won't get burnt again and hopefully we'll kick on.

Agree0 Disagree0

It all started in pre season, it was a dire showing and the Young kids seemed to get all the playing time

I said last season we were outplayed most games and only finished as high as we did because other teams did not take their chances and Krul had an amazing season, added to Cisse scoring some wonder goals and I got accused of being a MKackem. Krul has been injured and off form and Cisse not as prolific after being very badly managed by AP. For me that is the theme of the season bad management, when we have so many techincally gifted players such as HBA, Cabaye, Marveaux, Santon, Collo, Sissoko, Gouffran etc etc and even Obertan who can kill a ball that has come down from so high it has snow on, do we still play poor football? Answer: The Management. AP was lucky last year but this year other managers have found him out. He needs to be replaced in the summer, although not sure who with. Blanc is the obvious choice but I have my concerns about a French Manager and loads of French players creating a split in the dressing room. What about the Bayern Coach who is leaving to make way for Guardiola? Despite the constant relegation battle with Wigan would you consider Martinez as surely with our better squad he could have us playing better without being in a relegation battle, very similar to Rodgers at Liverpool. Your views please.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I agree, the strange thing is though, we are not getting dominated as much this season, but yet we are losing more games.

Agree0 Disagree0

I too like the Martinez idea

Whats the chances of Suarez being banned for saturday?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Very high, though not that it will make much difference. AP will still play Jonas eventhough he has been rubbish, will still play Sissoko and Cabaye out of position and if reports are true Cisse may miss the rest of the season thenthat leaves the door open for Strola to start, oh how the Liverpool back four will be quaking in their boots!

Agree0 Disagree0

What reports about cisse?

Agree0 Disagree0

According to chronicle he is playing with an injured rib.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cisse has gone to France to have it checked out to see if he stands a chance of playing on Sunday.

Suarez would be a massive boost for us if he is banned by then, but then again if he plays a fan will run on the pitch and punch him for looking like a horse

I personally think mike Ashley is running the club right within the rules he has this club on a stable footing but his management are not doing there bit this team needs to play football and that is down to the manager the tools are there they just need to be used properly foe Newcastle to compete in the top six they need more money coming I Liverpool spurs etc have bigger turn over with smaller crowds but they have history behind them and sponsors must go for that the toon need to be in the top six to attract more investors and that comes down to play on the pitch and that is where mike Ashley's hands are tied

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The good players we had last season haven't turned bad and the new lads have, on occasion looked good. I don't think AP has turned into a bad manager either (he took us to fifth and Europe - can't be bad) so maybe we need to "freshen up" the coaching staff. just hope we don't see Mr. Dowie's car pulling into the car park.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ashley is a joke and is looked on by other owners as a freak in football.

Has the penny not dropped yet Ashley came into football for money not ambition and he gets his first BIG pay day if we stay up. TV and then Gates and then TV for next season
All transfers will be self generated out and then buy with half of what comes in.

Wake up man.

Agree0 Disagree0

How can you say he's running the club well with an inept manager in charge. pardew out.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree get pardew out at end of season the blokes got no idea!
