Good run out against Sydney, hardly any signs of hoof ball. I know its only pre season but saw good pressing and pass and moves.
M'Biwa, Saylor, Colo and Haidara were good in defence. When M'Biwa was put back in centre back he looked solid. Riviere looked tactically aware, made the right decisions and got a goal. SDJ looks like that kind of player who's always one step ahead of the game than everyone else, look forward to seeing him. Rolando Aarons was decent on the left wing, I hope he gets a chance. Arma, Campbell and Perez all played well when they came on.
Nice to see the wreaths on the two seats at the Dunedin stadium, for John Alder and Liam Sweeney.

As we all know the newcastle utd home top means the world to us as our home top is what we stand for, our traditional heritage if you like, I always can't wait to see our new home kit each season although it doesn't vary too much as we can't interfere with our wonderful tradition, I've now seen the design for our new home top which I personally really like, it's a very unique design, what do all the other geordies think of our new home top?It definitely has more black & white stripes in the design which I do prefer
