I hope it isn't true that Newcastle are only willing to offer joey barton a 2 year deal i don't see him excepting that at all with the wage decrease as well. It would be a massive blow if we lost him in the summer as well if he wants a 5 year deal Ashley has to give him one he has been a stand out performer for our side and in the premier league and has said he would love to stay.

Pardew if you want to get rid of enrique get perotti as a replacement ed what position does perotti play? {ed's note - he is a winger, normally plays left side currently but can play on the right as well and is mostly right footed.}

Loic Remy will never be prolific in Premiership probably get bout 5-8 goals he seems more like a player that would be suited to a 4-3-3 formation cutting in from the wings.

If Newcastle's targets are the likes of Larsson I am expecting second season syndrome if they want to show ambition they need to keep sending Graham Carr out on scouting missions to find more players like Tiote.
