ok, so a draw is still not the result we crave and i like most agree pardew should be out but he has had one excuse that he could at least try to use and that is up to now you could say he hasn't had the chance to play is actual full strength squad. and the only time we have had our strongest 11 out on the pitch was when cisse came on (clutching at straws a tad but still true i feel). and with Tiote a cisse on didn't concede and we scored 2. so i'd say that's pardews last chance gone. no more excuses now. Ok cisse might be while away from 90 mins but already shown signs that maybe we might have the old cisse back. so long out the game might have give him the hunger back. Tiote was very good also read that pardew gave him praise and even said when on about tiote "our captian tiote drove us when we were 2-0 down" although this is incorrect as collo is captain. on that performance i agree tiote should be. anyway that's my ramblings for now. let's see home much longer he can last in the job. Just to clarify something before you slate me. I Know we should be able to perform better than we have even if we havnt got our strongest 11 out. just making the point. i can see it now if we go unbeaten fora bit and get some results Pardew will use this as a reason for previous bad results
I agree with your assessment Nik toon. Pardew needs to be getting more from the players at his disposal.
If Cisse is back to his best then it gives us a fighting chance.
If Pardew wants to keep his job he needs a defensive coach now.
The team keeps possession well they just do nothing with it. All of a sudden when cisse came on we had options in the box.
Good reaction from the fans. Still nowhere near but Tiote and cisse had some fire in their belly. Collocini needs to stop chasing the ball and commiting himself. have all our goals against come down our right side so far? First goal was easily preventable.
