Come on QPR
Come on spurs
No....... QPR SMB !
Rangers and barton are both legends!
Hey i´m a Crawley Town fan but what does SMB stand for? ED? {Ed007's Note - It means Small and Medium Businesses, like Newcastle and Sunderland for example.}
I wonder If this is the Ed who supports Championship Boro!
Newcastle and Sunderland aren't small teams ed. you should be sacked. your not part of our banter;) {Ed001's Note - he supports some pub league team, Celtic or something they are called.}
Sad mackam b.....ds
Ah, Celtic, the teenage part-timers who play against binmen and fishermen so think they've won good trophies ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha face it Celtic your league is a joke, your manager is a joke and your opponents are League 2 AT BEST, Celtic are a championship team at most here, the rest are virtually amateur. Scottish football is atrocious and we don't want Celtic or Rangers in our leagues.
Ah celtic? the team that hasnt got a decent keeper of their own!

Hi ed, just wondering, how much did we actually sign Cisse for? I hear so many numbers thrown about, 10m, 9m, even heard 7.5m yesterday! {Ed023's Note - 10.5 million mate, worth every penny so far.}
Carr said we managed to get it down to 8 million.
Carr is a useless scout, he´s just getting lucky with many of his signings (obertan was one of the unlucky ones)- newcastle are a one or two season wonder - WHY? here´s why, 1. Liverfools paying 35 million pounds for a useless striker will not always happen, 2. Cheap buys will not always be successful in the prem (just look at Obertan and Best), 3. other teams will start to take you serious and finally the likes of Cabaye, Tiote, Cisse will soon leave this summer, if not next summer because as you may know, MA doesn´t turn down big money!
Its 10.5 with add ons
Another jelous fan cos his teams s**t ha
Mike ashley could end up with more profit or there abouts if we get into champions league and thats fact thens there more tv money bigger summer money from friendlys and ashley aint stupid so wont sell every good player all big earners are gone now think colo is the last...edd do u agree if we get into champions league stages the money would roughly be the same as selling big..smb {Ed001's Note - it would be close, but the profit wouldn't because the team bonuses would be higher due to the higher league position! But next season's TV and merchandise money would be increased, so it would be a long term boost.}
There it is again LUCK. Is that the only words mackems have in their vocabulary? Its funny how everyone else praises our current league position and the work of Carr. Its only the unwashed who think it's all down to luck.......Why is that?
Best has more goals than Sess in his PL career and he is our 4th choice striker. What does that tell you. Money well spent. Obertan is young and has plenty of time to develop. Bitter, jealous take your pick. SMB.
I'm pretty sure Obertan was Pardews choice.
Does we still receive the parachute payments from the championship win? Because that money added onto European money would put us in a stronger position financially. If thats the case i could see a big summer on Tyneside. {Ed001's Note - you don't get parachute payments for winning the Championship. You get them for being relegated from the Prem and then only while still in the Championship.}
To the Mackem,
Perhaps it is lucky, perhaps people won't pay 35 million for another one of our players (although with tiote, Ben Arfa, Cisse, Krul, Ba they're not valued far off that amount), but we're in a great position in the league because we deserve to be. We've won our games, unlike you lot, who even with Oneill the messiah can't string some results together.. Gimme a break, and talking about losing players and clubs being destroyed, look at the state of Oneill's previous clubs... Celtic, financially in tatters, Villa are the same.. Heskey gets paid 10k more than Cisse a week.. Laughable. Leicester would be in a similar position to the other two were it not for their investors. So don't come over here shouting on about how our bubbles going to burst, at least we've got a bubble... oh and good luck with Karl Henry and Gabby Agbonlahor next season
Graham Carr said LIVE on talksport that they got the price down to £8m. {Ed001's Note - yes, but that will be the initial fee, not including any add ons, ie for scoring goals, which he has got add ons. The fee paid is revealed in the German club's accounts.}
Car might know every last detail of the financial side also
plus from the interviews with llambias he said we pay a straight fee over 12 months, no clauses, no payments stretched over years
Apart from CARROL WHO HAS aSHLEY SOLD FOR BIG MONEY (AND HE HAD BEEN PROOVED RIGHT WITH CARROL)
Best has done a job when he's been called on and I think Obertan might (with a lot of hard work) still come good, he's set up a couple of good goals this season

Chelsea and Arsenal drawing and both dropping points is great news for us. Let's hope we can take advantage this afternoon.
Man, did we take advantage or what! Arsenal in range!

I hope for next season we continue the 4-3-3 approach. Looking ahead to possible signings in the summer and realistically playing in the Europa league. Hope we keep our major players (why would they want to leave) Ba being the most likely to leave would replace him with Das Bost pretty much money like for like.
Defensively 7m to 10m Alderwerield (preference younger and possibly cheaper) or Vertogen. Left back Cissoko or Pieters approx 4 - 5m. Martens to give midfield options 5m and ideally any two of either Elia, Moses, Hoilett or Jarvis.
Obvious outs Lovenkrands, Smith, xisco Ranger, Williamson and Simpson.
Would try and keep Gutherie as a good squad player but feel he wants regular football which with our midfield options he won't get.
I think our owner should back us in europe for around 20 million. It maybe harder next season in premier league with extra games and some of our players like Ben Arfa, Cisse and Cabaye not being such a surprise with their ability and quality.
Any thoughts
Williamson out? Are you mad? He covered brilliantly, we need lads like him.

don't know how others feel about this, but i'm getting sick of idiots on this site worrying about Tiote going.
fair play is coming soon. that rules out chelsea(too many african players, wasted £50m last season) man city (wont spend this summer) arsenal (dont spend anyways) spurs (too expensive for them) liverpool (backwards step) problem solved.
Also tiote has only played half our games in the league, we have done just as well without him.....dont want him to go but he is not irreplaceable

People are making some pretty silly suggestions for players we are going to be looking at! I would imagine that our kitty for summer would be about £10 million, and poss £15 if we sell. We will hopefully also have a new contract for Guthrie and a few others which the club will parade as new signings! We dont need to make major signings just a few class players in a few positions - CB, LB, Forward! And if Guthrie doesnt re-sign a midfielder.
The last thing we need is a new forward if we can keep our best lads i think we only need a new center back and a new right back
BAW Toon
We in europe mate we spend ok lasy year as i believe if a decent player comes along at the right price ashley will buy think we might have more than 10 million though edd whats your opinion on my post please..:) {Ed001's Note - Ashley will buy if the right player is available at the right price. The club's value will increase massively with a Champs League run.}
Cheers edd001 just thats what i thought too..:)
