{Ed022's note - brand new player profile on Crewe Alexandra's Nick Powell, linked with pretty much every English Club in recent times. www.player-profiles.co.uk - thanks all. I'd also like to say that this website was created a few months ago for fans such as yourselves, and it just gives you information on which players are linked with what clubs etc. There is also a members area on that site also. Thanks all.}

Heard from a source inside of man utd that there is going to be a big offer come in for Cheik Tiote which will be of the £25 million pound up over mark. This would be a massive loss to Newcastle, there isnt many out there that play his type of role.

Believable1 Unbelievable6

Man United dont sign ACoN players...

Agree3 Disagree0

Cheick Tiote has told his agent that he does not want to move. the only way he would go is if someone offers way over market value, im talking andy carrol sort of money for him in which the lcub would prob accept, you forget we regected 27 and 30 mill from spurs and liverpool for carrol

Agree3 Disagree0

And if you were tiote and his agent comes along and says look son ye on 40k at newcastle chelsea want to sign you newcastle say the deal is on for 20+mill and we can put a 1 in front of that 40 you would turn it down dont think so mate money talks in all means of life

Agree0 Disagree1

Not really if someone was on minimum wage and took more money people would congratulate them but Tiote is on around £50k with over 5 years on his contract plus possible bonuses, sponsors and money from interviews, he's hardly struggling for money.

Agree0 Disagree0

What so you living comfortable on 20k a year wages for eg and someone offered you 40k you wouldn't take it reckon 99.9% of people on here would and that 0.1% is you mate

Hi guys Everton fan here I like Newcastle and I was dissapointed that you missed out on CL football last season would have been refreshing to see you guys in it, but I lost all respect for Alan Pardew when in the pre match press conference before our game against you's he said 'Forget about Everton because were up there with the elite now' I thought this was extremely disrespectful because we were prolific 5th place finishers in the premier league just a couple of years ago. Anyway good site you've got here and a great club just a plonker of a manager to be honest...

Believable1 Unbelievable5

AP has been spot on about everything so far. I watched a lot of that press conference and dont remember him saying it, but if he did, I'd disagree wholeheartedly. Massive respect for you bluenoses, Moyes has one of the hardest jobs in the league and smashes it year in year out.
Glad to see you back as the best team on merseyside, and good luck next season.

Agree6 Disagree0

IF this was said it's simple mind games, a prime example is Mancini who claimed Swansea and Sunderland were easy fixtures compared to Newcastle and QPR. Man City lost to both Swansea and Sunderland. It's called playing the game. but why post this on almost a month after the end of the season?

Agree2 Disagree0

I don't remember him saying that but if he did i wouldn't read into it too much.
Everton are a well respected team in the league who regularly finish top 8.
Much prefer you lot to them tw*ts Liverpool.

Agree1 Disagree0

I believe he was refering to where we were at that point in the season. we were gauranteed at least 5th and pushing for CL. if we were equal on points it would of been different, its the fact that we knew we were goin to finish above everton liverpool etc that we did not have to worry about what happened in your games

MY team for next season

Krul

Debuchy M'Biwa Colo Santon

Cabaye Tiote

Afellay Ben Arfa Guiti

Cisse

Subs Elliot, Perchinio, STaylor, Vukic, RTaylor De Jong Marveaux

Assuming Ba leaves

Believable2 Unbelievable2

I wouldn't play ben arfa through the middle, it's not his best place, probs better with ben arfa right, affelay right, jonas and tiote CDM and cabaye in CAM.

Agree2 Disagree1

Agree with person above, but to the original poster theres no way Luuk De Jong would come to us to sit on the bench.

Agree3 Disagree0

Also you do realise De Jong, M'biwa, Debuchy and Affellay would cost around £30-35 million, no way we'll be spending that much.

With chelsea buying hulk and hazard, and also got sturridge and torres, why would
They need ba

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Dont think they need or want him tbh, the media are jus trying to cause a s**t storm by linking all our player with moves away. on a separate note the though of a front 4 of hulk, mata, hazard and torres is frightening

Agree1 Disagree1

I'd love to see Sturridge instead of Ba in our new 4-3-3.

Agree1 Disagree0

Sturidge, while he has been shown to be more effective in a wider role, would prefer a more central role position, which i would not swap cisse for. Be interesting to see what happens to sturidge tho if they do sign hulk, cant see him gettin much playing time, which hell be wantin if he wants to try and force his way into the england squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

It would be an devastating strike force... but they need Torres to hit form first... once he does, they'll destroy teams

Agree0 Disagree0

Biggest threat to Ba leaving might come from Utd. they're losing owen and berba so might see ba as a cheap way of filling the position.
tho they'll also consider the fact of losing him to acon.

Agree1 Disagree0

Yeah but they have Rooney, Welbeck, Hernandez and Keane (great young talent)
