Ferreyra signed and still saying more players to come. For me a CB would be everything the fans have asked for. The 3 new strikers hopefully can make a mark and maybe we will see a star born.
A CB on top of what we have bought would be just what we have asked for and we should have a decent season
Hopefully this Ferreyra lad can be a graham Carr gem.
Lascelles/Richards for CB
Grenier/Belhanda for creative midfielder.
Business done.
Ferreyra will prove to be as good as Remy he just needs to settle in and difference is he wants to play for Newcastle

Redknap says Remy will join QPR in Ireland on Sunday so how can we be in advanced talks to sign him?
If we did that would give us Remy/Rivierre/Ferrera/Perez/Cisse and your Arma which seems like a lot of strikers to me so do you think Cisse will eb sold?
The chron also think we are looking to sign a midfield player, a defender and possibly a young GK?
If all this is true then are Sissoko and YMB on their way?
Apparently Pardew is pleased with MYM's efforts to prove himself and will be staying thankfully.
Young GK, it's probably unrealistic but I would like us to nab Jack Butland off Stoke.

Outside of the top 4 I think our signings are the most impressive business. Many other supporters are envious of our signings and believe our owner is doing a good job and that its newcastles fans who are unrealistic. I don'tt live in the uk anymore but do work and have lots of expat friends who support Southampton, spurs, arsenal, sunderland, west ham, chelsea, liverpool, leicester, blackburn, swansea. And just to provide some balance all my mates think that pardew is a clown. I'm not standing up for Ashley, merely sharing opinions and perceptions of other fans.

It has been canny depressing the last 10 years. 10 years ago I was looking forward to champions league and we had just signed kluivert, milner and Nicky Butt. I thought they were exactly what we needed and we would have a shot at the league. Then FFS sacks Sir Bobby. This is the first pre season I have got excited since then Vida.
I have no expectations other than to see some really exciting players and games. From the clips I have seen of Cabella he has an air of arrogance that is almost cantona esque. I really hope they get off to a good start because this team could be dubbed the entertainers if they gell together. God knows the fans deserve it!
Des: just going from Youtube clips but this lad Ferreyra also seems to have that bit of arrogance about him too. Plus he's quick and not scared to get into areas where he might get clattered. Could our new strike force be good enough to tempt me back to SJP?

His record looks decent from his limited number of games. Remember the excitement and buzz you used to get at SJP just before kick off? I remember watching us play Derby and we had shearer, ferdinandand asprilla play up front. The Derby defence didn't know what to do. Ginola and beardsley couldn't get a game! 6 months later I was watching John Barnes, Ian rush and john. dahl Tomason - Its a funny old game Vic. Come to think of it Ashley ain't that bad when I look back at the mental stuff FFS did.

This might sound audacious but I want our club to play attacking football, always trying to get one more goal than the opponent, that could instill fear into the opposition. I am happy with the defence, we should give young players like Lubo Satka and Remi Street a chance. For that we need to sign Grenier and Aubameyang. These are my wishes, but under this regime I don't know if i'd get to see that.

My business partner is a spurs fan and we got talking today about how excited we are for the upcoming season. I showed the youtube clips of Remy Cabella and Siem de Jongand he was rather envious. With the signings arsenal and chelsea have made we both agreed that this season could be the best in the EPL history. Whilst I don't expect newcastle to win anything I am genuinely excited this season. I think we could see some cracking games.
