If we sign one player in January then we will be in the relegation battle until the end.

Jonas needs to be dropped all he does is run towards his own goal and wins free kicks by going down easily.

Totally agree, obertan and marveux are better then Jonas. They cause defenders more problems with there speed and skill

I don't know why people are still worrying about us getting relegated, i guarantee the lowest position we will finish this season is 13th even if we don't bring in any players in january. We've got too much quality, we've got one of THE most balanced squads in the prem, one of the reasons everton are doing so well is because of fellaini and baines, cut them out and they'd be max 10th. We will climb back up the table if we bring in good signings and play good football. We probably won't get europa league but we can defo still finish 6th, 7th or 8th which would be very good considering we're 15th now. For me, the main problem this season is because
1. We didn't bring in enough players
2. we've been unlucky with injuries and have had europa league to deal with.
3. MAIN ba and cisse can't play together on the same pitch, get rid of ba, get a good replacement (REMY) and we will play well and hammer teams. We can't revolve our play around ba, its just selfish, i bet if we tried ba on the left, he'd kick up a sulk straight away even if he scored. The simple reason why we cant play 442 is coz ba and cisse don't link up and jonas is awful on the wing and has lost his legs. Also simpson is shocking and can't cross for his life. williamson is terrible and should not be earning a 1st team place regularly.

Starting to pi55 me off at the fact that pardew cancelled the Christmas party... The minimum most of them earn is 20k a week, they could have Christmas everyday of the year! They can have as many pi55 ups as they want through the season Aslong as we get 3 points every weekend

Not everything is about money, cancelling the Xmas dinner is about making a statement to the players that they do not deserve a festive treat from the club.

Yes, they can afford 10 Xmas dinners everyday of the week but you can only have 1 club Xmas get together once a year as it must be organised by the club, and that is not going to happen.

Do you think the players deserve a big Xmas spread and a pat on the back for the club hovering over the relegation zone? I know I sure don't.

They player value and wages over our squad is top 8 club status and we are down in the mud with teams like Wigan and Southampton.

At least this bad run means we will actual spend in January. If we had been okay for the first part of the season, and were sitting say 8th at this point, I could see MA getting his cash out, but if he doesnt we will have the danger of being relegated.
