watching the team train and doing practice matches, we seem to be working on more short passing and possession.

If we try that at city then we won't win. They have been doing that for years

Pass and move till we go a goal down then just lob it forward to a stranded cisse.

Last seasons tactics?

Its movement off the ball that's needed, its no good passing and standing still. that's what we did last season made 5 short passes until we were closed down then lost the ball or had to hoof it long Destoon

You could stick 11 in goal and city will still win and score plenty, money talks!

ap keeps saying we cannot compete with the top four! alan we can't compete with any team in premiership amazing when we have 50 thousand plus each home game with this amount of ambition from our owner we truly deserve not to be in the premiership!

why don't we go for Defoe, he would give uu 2 or 3 good seasons

Why? Age, wages, location. There's three reasons, and I don't know how much of a fee we'd have to pay.

This would be the best chance to get Defoe only because its a world cup year.

Never let anyone try and guilt trip you into deluding yourself to the truth.

People fill themselves with false positivity and accuse those that live in reality of being negative, poisonous and worst of all detrimental to the club you love.

If we all sit idly by looking at everything with rose tinted glasses then we might as well give up on life because supporting the club you love is never so one dimensional.

The thing that those with their heads in the clouds will never understand is that we who are the ones they call negative only want the best for the club. We want to make this club better and not settle for what we have. We can see the potential for greatness and will always look at how this club can improve rather than sit on our hands, telling ourselves everything is ok.

Wish everyone thought like this!

About time, 100% agree. don't get me wrong support the team that's on the pitch that doesn't mean we need to support the people that run the club.

We all want the best for NUFC, but the negativos have had a good long free run at dealing out horrible abuse to anyone of a more positive mind. I don't mind a calm rational debate, but the Ashley/Pardew haters have gone overboard too often to be taken seriously. All of the points for and against the regime have been done to death, Ashley's still here and none of the negativos has done anything to organise a credible opposition. A few weeks ago a poor sod got himself into the papers when he tried to surrender his season ticket, and I thought for a moment I might have to eat my words - here comes a proper protest! But no, his missus wanted a new sofa or something and he just wanted his money back. Vic

Its been said time and time again that if we didn't go to games they would be a huge change. Yep it hurts to not go the game I know but its the only way to get the message across. Until WE do this Ashley will keep walking all over us. 1 player in just like last season. How much longer are we putting up with this?

NUFC.com have claimed that there are strong rumours that Ashley is going to sell Newcastle and buy Rangers. Apparently interest has come from USA. If this is true then it could be fantastic if the RIGHT people buy our club. Would hopefully mean changes off the field first. we can only hope.

Liverpool aren't in either of europa league or champs league. We'd have the same chance of signing him except liverpool would be able to offer bigger wages

We do have a chance on players if we show more players. But thanks for stating the obvious there.

apparently sunday miror is saying that pardew is under pressure in keeping his job, if he does leave I would want jorge jesus benfica coach add the portugese style of play with mainly french players. reason being most premier league teams struggle against portugese teams and benfica are an example unbeaten for how MANY GAMES.
